I know it'll take time to master, but what do you think of me progress eh? Part of me is bothered that it was a fluke that I found those zones, and what will I do when the Market isn't that clear. I think it's because I'm starting out I'm having those issues anyway.

Me thinks progress is progress, whether small strides or large leaps. The best teacher remains the chart.

Everytime i look at my chart, i learn something new.

166.390 is where I'd prefer to look for shorts. I may expect short term shorts from 165 anyway but long term shorts, I'll be looking at the aforementioned price

At the moment, Nasdaq is the strongest of the three indices and divergence is a powerful confluence in trading indices.

Modified: In your previous chart markup, what is the difference between
1) BOS and ChoC and
2) When do they apply
3) What parameters do you look out for in their application.

I think I might have asked this before but just refresh my memory, thanks.

BOS = Break of structure.
CHOCH= Change of character.

Change of character is transition from bullish market to bearish market and vice versa.

Break of structure is violation of already established lows or highs in that market (bullish or bearish).

Change of character indicates start of a new trend (bearish or bullish) and BOS indicates trend continuation.

Using one index as the frame work for other indices, this is what i hope tomorrow yields. And of course, it's a mental trade for me. My target is below "(a)"

If this trade is true, it may solidify my conviction that us100 is repeating it's immediate macro sell model.

Since that $100 demand zone was not strong enough to push price to $117 before crashing for the third wave, I'll consider taking a mental short as described in the image.

Let's see what effects tomorrow's fundamentals will cause.

I don't think BTCUSD is anything special. It's just a volatile asset but PA is still a constant factor amongst them all.

Although,I have not taken any serious interest in trading any crypto asset i still have them on my watchlist and i see the price action regardless.

Again, as it is with everything trading; study your assets of interest.

UJ did not take to the skies because other jpy pairs are busy looking for oil though they are still bullish but UJ is bound by familial allegiance grin

hence the "lagging".

If USD becomes bearish and JPY turns bullish, same scenario will occur. Little wonder, i don't trade this particular jpy sibling cheesy

I knew what i was saying when i said i can't trade "a few pairs". The feeling of having options will never make me desperate. Because i traded few pairs, i was at the mercy of GJ to pass my personal contest with uncle info and she messed me up cheesy

but on the flip side, that choice helps to keep one afloat when everything goes to sh!t at once cheesy

That aside,I love JPY pairs like i love indices grin

but not gold. My love for gold comes and goes grin

Price action study(take as trade call if found worthy);

I have marked up a sell to buy program on UsdChf. The aim is to see the efficiency of refined entries on LTFs (aka sniper entries). In the past, i missed a lot of trades but i want in again cheesy

I'll follow through with updates on the progress but note that I'm not taking the trade (as I'm still observing a break from trading)

The swap fees is not even up to 1% of the profit from your trades. And it's only a small addition to your losses cheesy

This feeling again boss mi. The daily candle said it's time for bull. Especially if price can push above friday high. Before you sell, wait for a daily or 4h bearish candle. That will suggest resumption of the 1694 expectations. As it looks, it appears USD will bleed next week.

USD bloodbath is something I've been looking forward to.
DXY and ***/USD has been showing SMT divergence on HTFs (for those who know the concept)

It has really done me dirty.
After all intraday demand windows didn't hold,i changed my perspective and i think i have a better picture of what is going on. I won't be surprised if we see bullish pressure tomorrow. But my preferred swing price is now 1810 ish.

The week has ended.

Gold ran according to my setup. Although we had a spring extended beyond expectation,we still saw the market closing within the favoured price. The huge D1 rejection wick indicates to me that buying could resume next week.
