Market just playing me mind games.. you leave ur trade to run e go spike, you take profit e go begin move hard..gosh huh
This.... This right here.
grin

Truth is,
Generally, I'd sit out and watch my Nas100 analysis fulfill all my requirements for a long position(and this could take several days) but with T n 'C given, local man has to be like water... Fluid.

Adjusting from swing to day trading is something

Back to this analysis right here.
We had it this week. I'll be watching out next week for longs at 13000.

Let's have a productive weekend.
We are still on this lady this week.
This is my contest asset. I may add gold to the mix if necessary.

I don't get emotional anymore. I guess the psychology has improved greatly. Risk management-wise, I understand why trades are moved to break even now. Just like I learned from @s.aintfaculty,I look out for reversal patterns in various supply or demand windows.

My RR remains dynamic.

One major lesson in my fx journey; Be humble or else the market will make you

Let's all improve.

@charly20
As we are about to start the contest this period, kindly do not forget to read the rules again and please lets be mature and strive to trade responsibly. Been active on this thread is a requirement as well.
And going in to the new week, what are the two pairs you intend to trade? What will be your risk and rewards per trade? What do you look out for when taking entries and exits? What have you learnt in this fx journey? What's your risk mgt like? How about your trading psychology?
Let's do it again. Hopefully, previous mistakes will not be repeated.

What's this contest all about please?
Making sure we are part of the 1% successful traders in the business.

For the new week.

Last week's candle failed to make a new low giving us an indication of likely trend reversal which I'd accept if 14390.5 is compromised. From the weekly picture, any long position for the next few weeks would likely stop at the Qml zone at 15880.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Nas100 analysis update!

Unlike what I anticipated, the previous week's low has been broken (clearly a power of 3 arrangement). But that is not enough for me to look out for shorts for the week because looking to the left side of the chart, the last swing low was not compromised hence, a double bottom.

The trade setup is not ripe for a swing yet but if yesterday's high is broken before the end of the day, it is ripe for a ride to 14390.

Or, I wait for today's high to be broken tomorrow
.
The bolded criteria was met. I'll be waiting to go long from 13035.

You are not alone bro,
Last week and this week have been the challenging week for since i went live,
The war really pushed me to the limits,

My account took a whooping 60%DD, at that point i was just waiting for the margin to call in and whip the account,
Last week and this week, i lost my entire prop accounts like 5 of them.

It's a bitter experience but it's worth it,
Now, i have better replanning for my props, so i don't loose them in the future,

Well it's part of the price we pay for greatness, I'm just glad I didn't learn this better lesson with a super high account. Omo, e for too choke
I guess a lot of us got our fair share of the whooping.

We return stronger!

I hope these folks don't deactivate my account this time.

What I've learned since the last year is "knowing your exit is also as important as knowing your entry and stop prices"

Yes,it has always been said but if the price is favorable to me to pay, I'd rather have experience teach me.

We are still on course.

PS: I don't post chart much these days because with nasdaq,I'm only looking out for one setup per week. And yes, whatever lesson I just learned,it's because of Nas100. cheesy

I saw a buying opportunity, I refused to execute it even though I know I'm on a countdown.

I only watched what would happen to the setup and guess what? If I had taken it, it would have been a loss.

What do you think?
Current trend is bearish. For now, I keep partying red.

Look at the big picture. Consistent BOS since last failed swing high from 27/12/21.

There shouldn't be any trade this week for bears as the week's candle needs to be completed. But I could enter early to continue the ride from next week.

Don't stress yourself boss, experience is the best teacher. Before, I used to open like 3 to 4 position on US30 in the previous contest, nobody tell me when I see how my psychology and trade were all messed up, now to open more than one position at a time now they scare me like mad, except when absolutely sure and at that Max of 2 positions.
