So, after 3 failed attempts to go long on gold, I changed my approach towards the asset. I think it's time to short. 1770 in sight.


I also found something interesting on GJ too. The pair is currently trading inside a psychological resistance level and in H4 is what looks like a change of character. Maybe it's equally time to short but I'd love to see how the week closes.

I'm staying off those jpy pairs for this week. Any bearish break of structure happening intraday is not of interest to me and buying now is one hell of a risk as most of these pairs are at psychological resistance levels (premium prices).

Gold is the only interesting asset for now.

Some words I would love for us to reflect on before we begin this year's business.

Next year, I'll be practicing the 10k FTMO package probably from January to mid -year (I've got time). When I'm satisfied with how disciplined my trading gets, then I can see how to go about paying for the challenge. I already did the challenge free trial and repeated the feat twice and passed all but I'm not confident yet.

In a case where I don't get enough satisfaction, I'll do it for the rest of next year.

We have started already.
We hope to keep it up.

There's still a lot to learn but I'm as serious as I can be.

I will advise you save up all the money you'd rather use to play around live trading and practice as I will too till it is well engraved in your psyche what you have to do per trade then we can see you become a prop firm trader

I think this is part of it. If no trader experiences this part of the journey, I think he needs to "hundredth check" (I know the expression doesn't exist but you get the point ) what he's actually doing.

Who ever said the journey was a smooth one anyway?
To agree to do this, I believe every trader must have signed that he's sacrificing his emotional wellbeing for the blue pips.

Ehen . We all remembered last week when I posted my floating profit of about 450 pips I bagged from GJ. Well after that crazy rejection, it went from 400+ to zero... Yes, zero.

I left that trade with break even to pay for my swaps and even lost an extra amount on top of that when I tried to scale(we remembered I said there was still an opportunity at 150.800 ). By Monday, I was heartbroken and frustrated( you can imagine after I don hustle recover my trading capital with extra 14usd profit then losing it again ).

But the setup for longs was still valid after Monday (goodnews ) and I re-entered as the previous positions to take profit at the supply window I talked about at 152.350 (the market always leaves foot print to follow).

The long positions have been closed with about 420 pips and the sell order has been activated (this is a trade call ). We ride to bear town.

PS: I didn't enter as par revenge trading but because the setup was still valid. .

I think USDCAD is finally coming around, I'll post my setup by the day's close.

Ok guys, after I posted my floating profit, went offline and returned, price dipped really bad going about -50% . But we've seen this before with Mr. Gabson's account.

I'm not panicking but I've studied what has happened on the chart and there's been a new supply area established before the dip so I'll be closing at 152.350 and activating a new sell order from that price.

If anyone is interested, you can still hop in at 150.800 so that we can take profit together at 152.350.(ideal SL =150.300)

I'm not expecting price to go higher than today's high because for price to approach that 152.350, today's low is likely to be broken at London's open giving us a LL and we'll be looking out for a LH.
