I finally summoned the courage to subscribe for TSTV and I can tell you categorically that I am enjoying every bit of it

Since I stopped subscribing dstv na so them don dey use call and text disturb my life

You get to watch very recent movies, lovely music channels, recent local movies documentaries, lovely educative children channels, news and sport channels

Since I subscribe in January I still dey on promo. I never pay shi shi till now

TStv should be more aggressive on advert that's why many people are losing out

To be honest, Tstv should make more awareness campaign about themselves, to stop gotv and dstv from cashing out on nigerians.

CTL is now dead and buried. Before we were able to watch EPL, La Liga, Seria A, Uefa Champions League at will

But now matches are selected randomly, whether is your team playing or not, that doesnt seem to bother them anymore.

Nigerians are now made to pay heaven and earth just to watch football matches.

Imagine not getting to see your team play in the uefa champions league maybe until the semi finals thats if they even go that far.

[/b]THE IMPACT OF RUSSIA AND UKRIANE WAR ON FOOTBALL AND SPORTS IN GENERAL[b]

Russia’s decision to invade Ukraine since last week has led to series of people not only scrambling for safety but also seeking refuge in other neighbouring countries, with many losing their lives in the process, and several families being separated by the war, while other foreign nationals in Ukraine are left stranded in various neighbouring border crossing facing issues of documentations.

Expectedly, the invasion has sparked outrage from the world of sports, as several Sports Governing bodies have come out to speak against Russia’s actions, and have dished out stiff sanctions on Russia, as their athletes and teams have officially been banned from competing in several competitions, like the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year, while European football Governing body UEFA, recently shifted the Uefa Champions League final from Russia where it was supposed to be held in May this year, to the Stade de France, as a sign of their discontent with the whole invasion.

Note worthily, we commend the courage of some Ukrainian sports personalities who have taken the bold step by joining in combat, in a bid to defend their Country against the onslaught from this Putin’s led administration, even though some of them have lost their lives in the process.

In addition to this, several sports personalities and teams all over the world during their games recently, have also given a gesture in solidarity with the Ukrainian people, with the hope that a resolution can be reached for the war to end.

Finally, Sports in General is one thing that we all know unites the whole world together, and it is certainly a shame that so many young ones who have dreams will be shattered by this Selfish and Baseless decision by Putin to invade Ukraine, and we all sympathize with several families that have lost their loved ones in this needless war being led by Vladimir Putin.

Julen Lopetegui's sevilla side are having one of their best season in recent history with their performances especially in la liga making them dare to dream, and they are certainly keeping Real Madrid on their toes waiting for any opportunity to pounce as they are currently only six points behind the league leaders.

We all know things have not been easy in nigeria for a while now, and it seem as if it is getting worse day by day, but nothing last forever.

STATE OF INSECURITY IN NIGERIA

Insecurity in nigeria is now at a worrisome state in our beloved nigeria, as even our security agencies who are tasked with the job of safe guarding the entire populace are finding it more difficult in curtailing this menace ravaging the whole country, with no where seeming to be safe anymore.

Additionally, commuters get kidnapped at will in several travelling routes, while some live to tell the story, others are not so lucky. Back then we were having the notion that it was done based on religion, but now both muslims and christians are being kidnapped with huge sums of money been demanded for their release.

Meanwhile, instead of addressing the situation head on we keep politicizing the whole matter which is not the way to go if we want to curb this increasing menace in our society,

Finally, it is obvious those tasked so far with the duty of curbing insecurity have not being living up to expectations, but our hope and prayer is for things to change for the better regarding this matter as we cant continue to live like this.

YAHOO YAHOO MENACE IN NIGERIA

The cyber crime known as yahoo yahoo is getting more attention in nigeria, as some of these our youths flaunt their ill gotten wealth in the open without recourse to anyone or our security agencies.

Meanwhile, some ignorant parents are now even encouraging their children to go into yahoo yahoo in order to enrich themselves, not minding the ritual processes some of them go through just to achieve their aim.

Unfortunately, this is how far we have gotten in nigeria, as those engaging in legitimate businesses and jobs are seen as average citizens while those with ill gotten wealth are celebrated all over the country, even in our churches some of them normally do thanksgiving for ripping off their fellow human beings.

Finally, we certainly have to change the mindset of this our young ones coming through for there to be any hope of a better nigeria, and parents have a major role to play in ensuring that kids desist from engaging themselves in such illegal activties.

UNDERFUNDING OF STATE OWNED TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS IN NIGERIA

The underfunding of most of the state owned tertiary institutions in nigeria has been quite disheartening, with most of these institutions finding it hard to pay workers salaries as at when due.

Furthermore, while some few state governments are to be commended for their will and commitment towards ensuring that workers welfare are top of their priority, by paying them all they are entitled to recieve, other States Governments have done quite the opposite with some of them owing salaries for up to about 6-7 months.

In some states, even the minimum wage of N30,000 signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari have still not being implemented, as some of them would even want to pay workers as low as N5,000, as thats how low they think of workers welfare in this country of ours.

However, the labour movement have done well in some states by engaging in dialogue with some of these Insensitive Governors but all their efforts so far have proved abortive.

Finally, the National Leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress ably led by Comrade Ayuba Wabba certainly has its work cut out in trying to convince some of these Governors to come to the negotiating table, as we all know one thing is for the Federal Government to proclaim and another for it to be domesticated in our states.
