Ezenwa, for the first time i witnessed failed on my payment status and no action taken for March Stipend, to be honest i knew it might happen at some point, especially with all the payment wahala others have been experiencing ever since.

I tried sending a mail to their email box at support.npower@nasims.gov.ng but it didnt go through, got the response mail undeliverable.

I will try calling them tomorrow through their customer care line just as you suggested. thanks

The processing of Npower march stipend commenced few hours ago today, in the coming weeks Npower Batch C stream 1 volunteers' bank accounts should be credited and the payment status should become paid, Npower Batch C stream 1 volunteers have been advised to continue checking their Npower payroll payment status for updates and changes to their payment status.
The Npower march stipend will change from pending to processing then to paid in the coming days, Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteers should expect April stipend immediately after Npower march stipend has been cleared, all outstanding failed payments will also be cleared, Npower Batch C stream 1 volunteers with failed payment issues have been told to go to Instagram app and search for Npower_ng and send in their complain, not forgetting to include their Npower ID when making their complain.

Npower batch c stream 2 volunteers without data or sophisticated smart phones can check their physical verification date when it commences, biometrics, deployment and even their shortlisting status by dialling the *45665# ussd nasims code.
In order for an Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer to be able to do this, the Npower batch c stream 2 volunteer must have a minimum of ₦30 airtime or credit in his or her phone.
To check the physical verification date when it commences using the *45665# ussd nasims code, follow the procedures below:

1) The Npower batch c stream 2 volunteer should dial *45665#

2) After dialling*45665# a welcome message will come up saying "Welcome to NSIP Service, Choose Programme -

I have a friend like that she did not go for the training, while the October to December 2021stipend has not been added to her payroll tab, she is still being hopeful and prayerful.

Was ur frd added to the watsapp group, did the supervisors know ur frd didn't come, cos na the same centre they posted me last yr, i no show but i told the supervisors y i couldn't come and i received every cash been paid to them, even when Npower officials came, they covered for me, and my October - December is now showing.

Well she was not added in the whatsapp group and the supervisors were not aware she didnt come, she is just being hopeful.

So it's quite likely a large percentage of the SSANU members are also NASU members... That'll explain why they are almost always going on strike at the same time

SSANU members can not be NASU members at the same time, they only come together like a joint strike action when they have common issues which affect both their members.

Some of these SSANU members were initially NASU members but along the line they got promoted and forgot the whole essence of trade unionism in the first place by deciding to jump ship.

Some People always forget where they are coming from, by law associations cant declare trade dispute against government or management, only registered trade unions can.

one thing is certain npower dont follow a certain payment criteria and they have proved ezenwa wrong since the program started.

Federal Government and their constant threat, No work no pay policy has not been a new thing before to the ears of labour movement in nigeria and it wont start now.

Our Governments insensitivity to the plight of Nigerian workers in this country is really baffling so say the least.

Virtually all the unions in our universities are on strike, and all activities in our universities have been grounded to a halt, and most offices are locked to drive home their demands.

So You think labour movement dont know what they are doing abi? This warning strike commenced exactly some few days before the end of march, so by law they know they worked for it, and they are entitled to their salaries for March.

any worker whether you are an academic staff or a non academic staff can be a senior staff, it all depends on your grade level attained while working in most of these establishment.

I can be a non academic staff in a university with NASU, even after i get promoted to a senior staff grade level, I can still decide my union has been loyal to me and stick with NASU. Instead of jumping to senior staff association of universities. Some of these senior staff are under the administrative (duties) cadres in such settings

According to The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) the payment of January stipend has been initiated, Npower Batch C Volunteers should login into their Npower NASIMS dashboard and confirm changes on the January payment history, all 2021 outstanding payments will be cleared, the current payment is in progress.
As earlier said in our previous reports in the coming weeks Npower Batch C Volunteers being owed since last year will begin to see changes in their payment history, the January stipend has been updated to the pending status and few days from now all Npower Batch C Volunteers will be credited and should start receiving payment alerts on their phone.

Ezenwa, from observation some non graduates today noticed that Oct to Dec 2021 payment was added to their payroll, while some have not yet noticed any changes on their payroll, should such people be worried.

Most Federal Government Agencies workers are captured under IPPIS, For that of the university workers, the unions were at first sceptical about the whole process and what it entailed initially, but after studying it and seeing what government were planning like getting rid of ghost workers and some financial frauds in the university system, some of these unions decided to give it the benefit of doubt by allowing their members in the universities key into IPPIS.

But fast forward a year later, some of these unions are regretting it, as minimum wage arrears, salaries payment have been abnormal and union dues which are suppose to be the only source of income for these unions are deducted from workers salaries by IPPIS but not remmited to the concerned unions.

So most of them are saying if ASUU can float their own payment platform, we are also ready with ours.

Can you believe since he signed that minimum wage into law, most workers have still not being paid their minimum wage arrears, you brought in a payment system like IPPIS initially claiming to rid the system of ghost workers, but along the line the system has been riddled with so many anomalies, imagine somebody who is suppose to recieve salary like 120,000 lets say for Feb 2022, that person recieve 20,000 while the remaining balance is unaccounted for, how do u expect such a person to be happy.

IPPIS payment platform has largely been a disaster, thats why ASUU has been floating their own payment platform software.

Senior Staff association in the university setting, while NASU are the non academic staff union in the universities, like they said the issues raised are not new, the federal government and ngige in their usual manner love dragging issues that they know will benefit workers.

Federal government and delay tactics are 5 & 6
