EgunMogaji:
Those that are making it big in Nigeria do not collect a paycheck from others, anyone that still collect a paycheck is really not that successful.

Figure out what you like to do, what your passions are and try to find funding to nurture it.

When I come home I keep my eye out for opportunities that I can invest in during my retirement, my Brother they abound.
You can't be as hardworking as I am. I'm 24 and I've learnt 5 trades already . I had sleepless nights through out last year learning codes and business finance on edx and coursera. It got to a time while I was working towards a partnership that my idea got stolen by a rice processing company in Niger. I was not a fan of "travel for green pasture" but my Pastor advised me to seek my comfort before country's. Imagine Pastor saying "hardwork doesn't pay in Nigeria"; that I need a bit of luck to scale through. I swear you don't love Nigeria as I do. If you have the passion as you claim why don't you take the next flight back home. I've been admitted to Computer Information Technology program in USA and I will keep working hard. Doing business in Nigeria is far more dangerous than fighting boko haram. Ask any genuine business owner in Nigeria. Nigeria doesn't have 'people' problem. Nigeria only has 'system' problem. If the right system can be put in place Nigeria will be fine. Nigerians are not lazy.

Obviously that reason is just not convincing and does not sound too interesting to the hear. You can give reasons like;
You Compared tuition fees of other schools with the school, and you found it cheaper. Or may be it came with G.A which is better off the other schools.
Or say something like; the school gave you admission first of all the three schools you applied to. And not to delay and not sure of other schools decision, you chose to go with that; cos they day " A bird at hand is worth more than a thousand in the bush"......
This is shallow and can lead to another straight denial. @Dalutin u can simply download the transcripts from this link and thank me later: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vv0a0sfgaysztiq/AADbiS4UG7q57b0qcFPjaPkna?dl=0

Considered for something doesnt mean anything..... for school application everyone who meets the minimum requirement applicantion is reviewed SURE but is everyone given admission NO....... applicants are then ranked based on strength and then most importantly availability of space

Same way with scholarship... all depends on how many applicants the school will sponsor compared to the pool of qualified applicants. So been considered in my eyes doesnt carry much weight blc 1 % can be given or 100 %
Okay, I get...

For international student it list SAT scores for international Student (so it can be somewhat needed ) ....... Also one thing to note is that even though someone meets the minimum requirement does not guarantee that you will get it , so any additional thing that makes you more competitive helps your application.

https://international.dixie.edu/international-student-scholarships/

All new F-1 undergraduate, degree-seeking international students applying to Dixie State
University will be considered. Scholarships will be awarded to international students who
meet the following criteria:

English proficiency scores (TOEFL – 75, IETLTS – 6.5 OR evidence of primary language of instruction in high school is English

3.0 GPA or equivalent OR ACT score of 26+ OR SAT score of 1240+
Scholarship recipients will be required to maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA each semester
You may be right, but according to the bolded which you quoted from the school site, it's either the student has SAT has good score in SAT or 3.0GPA in high school result + TOEFL right?

Also, it is stated on the page that everyone who meets the requirements is considered for the scholarship, right?

Can you be too busy to chase your dream? You lost me at 'not only get scholarship but visa', what is TOEFL? Toefl is pure water and just a test of English proficiency. Do you know how many applicants are writting SAT? SAT will make him more competitive. If you were part of the admision commitee and you have just one candidate to choose from, would you choose a TOEFL applicant or SAT Applicant?
I agree with Deetus
I know a public school that gives scholarship to incoming undergraduates with just TOEFL and 3.0GPA in o level result as requirements.

ETS book is very good. I dont know if you can download online for free. You may buy the hard copy.

Then check notefull videos on Youtube, play them all. And practise well oo. Time yourself
If you have more time, you can randomly google toefl lesson or practice on Google. You will see other good sites to practice.
Thank you bro

yea....... considering your "Danfo point" i think white will be OK and most blogger use white background but FRANKNETTER needs something unique "dont follow peoples tradition ......create yours"
We are talking about what's best for readers, you are talking bout what's best for the writer. Frank's creating blog for readers, not for himself so he wants to gain attention of readers. Even top sites (facebook, google, youtube etc...) follow the rules. And one thing about web users is that once they visit your site, they will either want to keep coming back or never want to come back.

Now FrankNetter, as a web designer, I will advice you go with white background. If you want to ship in creativity to the blog, maybe you should add weekly video, interviewing Nigerians (students, H1b holders, PR holders, dual citizens etc...) about their life in America, the challenges they faced and how they got over the challenges. You will have lots of subscribers.

The skills that can help land a job with good pay are Computer programming, any of the engineering fields (civil, electrical, etc), Medical Doctor, Nurse, etc. As an IT consultant (Application developer/programmer), I can certainly tell you that even a fresher with only 2 years out of college can command upwards of $60/hr, depending on experience. Everything is getting automated, so you can't go wrong with programming and any of the fields above. BTW, I have been doing this for a very long time.

Not saying the other fields are not ok, but these ones will land you a job quickly.

PS. The certifications, computer programming degree, etc. should be done after arriving. Anything computer related from Nigeria will not hold any weight here at all. We do serious coding/programming in the schools here.
I'm coming as a student. Can I still work as an outsourced computer programmer + studies and and the 20hrs/week job?
