It was an adventure sending my child to school for the first time and being my first child too.
When we got to the school she was crying to the extent that no tricking cuddles could calm her down. Out of emotion, i returned to take her back till another day but the teacher bounced me back.

With a faint heart i reluctantly left the premesis. 1 hour later, i went back to the school stealtly by the school fence suprisingly, she was still yelling "mommy yey daddy yayy" !
OMG, i was helpless because i could not do anything about it so i left with agony in my soul as if anything bad happened. Hence i starved till it was school over. I went back to pick her and wow, she was happy and smiling as if my coming and the school dismissal interupted her joy of the day.

Sorry but you are not current with the realities on ground. Pornography had been in the school system for quite a while now. Teachers watch during spare periods, students gather in groups to relish it, teachers stumble on students absorbing it, teacher seizes phone, at the staff room teacher shows other teachers that the kids have the latest clips, they laugh over it, they transfer to their phones, students buy beers for teacher(male students) or gives teacher free fu*k(female students) in order to get seized phones and cycle continues!

There are countries which thrive on academic excellence and creativity of the human mind. America, China, Germany are such countries. If you want to thrive as an academic champion, that is where to go to.

There are countries that thrive on entertainment, frivolities and enterprise. If you are strong in these areas, Nigeria is one such country.

Some countries have space for both types of stuff. But you see Naija? Nigeria has no place for academic excellence, which is why investment in health, education, research & development, science and technology (or STEM courses) is ZERO.

As a parent, I did this analysis some years ago and decided where my children will be headed.

The unique collaboration will see the Nigerian airline join forces with Gulder Ultimate Search to reward “the winner and contestants with exciting prizes when the show premieres on screens in October 2021 for the 12th season.”

Speaking about the collaboration, the Chairman of Air Peace, Barrister Allen Onyema, said: “We’re so excited to be partnering with such an iconic show. Through this partnership, we will support the tenacity, and resilient spirit of young Nigerians who have shown to always find a way out of any difficult challenge life throws at them. It is our way of cheering Nigerian youths on to success. The Gulder Ultimate Search aligns with one of the founding principles of Air Peace- youth empowerment.”

Responding, the Marketing Director of Nigerian Breweries, Emmanuel Oriakhi, said: “We are so thrilled to have these two great Nigerian brands supporting Gulder Ultimate Search. And we look forward to the hugely exciting opportunities the partnership will present to contestants and viewers of the show.”

The partnership announcement follows the unveiling of Gulder Ultimate Search, GUS, contestants on Sunday, September 26, 2021.

“After a stellar 11-season run from 2004 to 2014, Gulder Ultimate Search, Nigeria’s first reality TV show, is returning to the screens in October 2021 with ‘The Age of Craftsmanship’ as the theme of the 12th season”, the organisers said.

Since its debut in 2004, GUS has delivered some of the most memorable TV moments of the last two decades and launched the careers of many film and TV stars including Kunle Remi, Dennis Okike, Chris Okagbue, Uzor Osimkpa, Chinedu Ubachukwu, and many more.
