expertman: . Thanks for ur reply it include all plus accidental fees. And On Masters level.

I think you need to increase your SoA. $39000 is about 6M but you only have 4M in your account. she could be refused based on insufficient funds. I suggest you add a co sponsor to boost her chances. The sum of money available for her studies should be greater than $39000. If she is not bouyant to act as co-sponsor , perhaps you should find a relative for that. Don't forget to add other docs to strengthen her app. like good SOP, land docs, strong home ties etc. Don't worry others more knowledgeable will add to this.
And oh, pls don't apply to go with her yet. smiley

expertman: . Kindly pls help on this as I know many people here know much than I do pls.

What level of study is she going for? undergraduate or masters?
Is the $39000 just her tuition alone? That's feeding, accommodation and other fees not inclusive.

Is the $39000 the cost of her entire tuition or just for the first year alone?

Amefrica: My uncle (sponsor) just called me now, that he received a call from the embassy not long ago. ...confirming our relationship and if he's truly gonna be responsible for my expenses and all. He confirmed and reaffirmed all.

I provided his letter-headed paper which carries all his #s

Is this the normal norm?

Very much the norm. congrats in advance smiley

oghos2k: Hi all, Just wondering how it looks if i use my uncle and my brother as sponsor. I know the "parent" is best but can brother and uncle work too

Yes it will but you must give solid reasons why they are sponsoring you.

What if she defers her admission to Spring 2015, by that time, the baby would have been a year old. then she gives it another trial alone. and if the VO asks for her baby, she should tell the VO the baby is under an intensive care of her grandmother and has also been assigned a pediatrician for a routine preventive health maintenance.

A husband and 2 kids back home is also a perfect tie to Nigeria bro.

Just my opinion.

Very Correct! Instead of using her grandmother, she can use her mum and mum in law. In African tradition both would be more than willing to do that.

If she goes with the idea of waiting 5 years, she has further reduced her chances of being granted visa. What excuse will she give the VO then? That she put her life on hold till her children reaches maturity? undecided

She can even defer the admission to January and try her luck then. By this time child will be one year+. I know of 3 people that got their Visas this way. Their children were exactly one year. One even had a child that was eleven months. What matters is studying the transcripts on here and being prepared coupled with confidence. If she can convince the VO with credible answers, and with God on her side, victory is hers.

I was told it'll take up to like 3 days to activate the internet banking. Cos it'll be done in Lagos

That's true but once they activate the card for you in the bank right now, you are good to go. You can use it to pay for your application the next minute. The internet banking ish is just for future purposes. Maybe transfering cash to other accounts etc.

oh thanks so much bro, dre protocols too much. Dem dey ask me for nepa bill

That's usually the drill. if you have your house rent receipt it can be used in place of NEPA bill. All they need is a proof of residence. Go with 2-3 passports photographs and national ID card or International passport.

I don dey reason am sef...cos d stress wey I don pass through

I had same problem with GTB card. It simply doesn't work for all customers. The card I used had over 400k in it yet it kept saying "transaction failed".
I tried UBA Africard next and it didn't work either. My best advice is for you to go to First Bank tomorrow and open an account. You will receive your MasterCard instantly. Be sure to ask them for a MasterCard. don't let them give you a Verve card.

I used mine and it worked like magic. Have at least 38K in the account. Thank me tomorrow when it works.

Bros use a Gtbank master card or a zenithbank master card or a uba fresh card

Gtb mastercard will likely not work. Maybe zenith works but UBA visa Africard works like charm
