Dr_Jay02: Glory to GOD, heaven heard my prayers and in turn denied the VO's Sleep and my medicals jumped the long line of applicants and came in record time , GOD be praised  because he's truly not asleep.

No, once I financially take over the responsibilities of a man, then to me he is my wife. Even if I earn less, he still needs to honour his responsibilities.
I wouldn't take over a mans responsibility, as I would be denting his ego. He will eventually go and look somewhere where he is useful.

chineloSA: I understand the guys point of view. Is he married to you or you married to him You giving your son a Yoruba name should just be plain negotiations and him being a nice guy.

I ask if you are pregnant because, from my perspective I think you overreacted. In my culture, that is not negotiated, especially if you are married. So, i expect you to understand such.

2ndChance: All I needed from her was just to be notified and nothing more. There is no reason on earth that would have made me not to grant her my approval eacept may be I don't have the money readily available which doesn't apply in this situation. The building took her exactly one year to complete and she never bothered to inform me until I found out myself. The main issue there is that she has betrayed trust and loyalty in my marriage that I now deeply fear for my safety. If I have assurance that she means no harm, then I have no issue with the building or any of her other investments that I may not be aware of. But unfortunately, she's not talking and some key members of the family who are trying to savage the situation are saying she is neither picking no returning their calls as well. We can't make any meaningful progress here without communication.

normaljenny: My brother, I have seen lots of advices here some are good and some are not good. Kneeling down and begging for forgiveness is no big deal. I can do it too with like 20 mins crying added to it. My candid advice is:

1. Don't hate her and don't send her away.

2. Request for the documents as it should be in your possession.

3. If she refuses to give u the documents.

4. Stop sleeping in same room with her.

5. Change your phone number and keep her off ur contacts whatever. Facebook, twitter. Etc

6. Don't you ever, ever eat her food. because if she finds out through the advise of her friends,mother, or pastor that you are becoming a pain in the ass, then she can be compelled to act rashly and if u should die, she would get another hubby in a year, and as she is getting so ambitious now, she has the automatic ownership to all your stuffs.

7. Threat her like a stranger in the house.

8. Don't ever have family discussions with her.

9. Behave as if your life depends on it.

10. Let it stretch for like two to three months.

11. When she comes for begging,don't give in immediately.

12. There shall not be a third party in the reconciliation scene. It should just you and her.

13. Trying to knw if the pastor is screwing her is a past thing. Just keep the past off from it.

14. But meet the foolish pastor and tell him bluntly that if you ever see him 250 meters close to any member of your household, that you will "kill" him.

15. Get a court injuction on him calling your wife or getting close to your family.

16. Withdraw the matter from your family and her family meddling in to solve. Keep them out of it. And your friends too. Only you and your wife can save your marriage.

17. Tell her you want a divorce and see how she would react to it. If she is shocked at and scared at it, then know she wants her marriage to stay, but if she is not, then know that can be the last option (deutoronomy. 24:1-4).

18. As you start it, dedicate a week fasting & prayer to God, for the purpose of keeping the family imtact and ask God to reveal hidden things to you, as I to know if the pastor has voodoo on her, because I don't trust most of all these pastors with their wack powers.

19. Lastly, don't joke with your life. E no get duplicate.

gokuu: Building a house is an investment. As long as she built the house with her own money, i do not see any problem with it. it's not 1913 anymore. must she submit her investment plans for authorization?

gbanikiti: there's nothing wrong in a woman building houses and acquiring properties. Maybe the posters wife felt he would not approve it. To me,I don't need anyone's permission to build houses. Its my personal decision.

of course i will inform him before i start but that does not constitute seeking his permission.

Ur SOP is more important than ur SOA. It should be related to ur course of study.

Ps: getting a trv is just half of the battle, so I'm getting to realise, all d same, we thank God.

You want to Tell me that God has a son, that he sent to die so that he can be pleased to forgive humans of their sins. Humans that he created. Sin that he created. The Devil that God created is now so powerful that God had to kill his own son to be able to overpower the Devil that he created. God has a son, but has no wife. So did he create Jesus as well or is Gods wife dead? O and how Come God has to wait till Jesus finishes building Mansions in Heaven and carrying those who drink his blood into his kingdom, for him to destroy the world? And why do I have to have an affinity with Isreal for me to be eligible to Make heaven? Like have you really thought about this religion of urs fully? Why do i have to become a pseudo-cannibal (eating bread and wine whilst pretending its the blood and flesh of Jesus) to be saved? Like seriously?
