Your post would have been good except you spoiled it with poorly researched and unfounded allegations. How dare you say Christianity regards menstruation and childbirth as curses? Can you point to a verse in the holy bible that supports this allegation? Its better to keep quiet on topics and issues you know nothing about rather than spread lies and rumors. The holy bible only says that women shall give birth in pains because of the sin of eve and not that childbirth is a curse. Haba! OP check your facts! 2 Likes |

Shadams: hmmm, I have already sent enough emails to some faculty. Some said they don't have vacancy for now because they have mostly accepted fall applicants while others don't reply at all. I don't want to contact the entire faculty so I don't look desperate. Maybe I will just wait and see. The person you know that has the supervisor issue, how did he resolve it? Thanks again. |

dommakavelli: Abeg no vex. Just trying to correct an impression. Sorry u got it all wrong. Anyway. Canadian dollar no get weight pass us dollar. Last time I checked 1 USD =1.03 CAD. Again, 1 USD = 159 naira. 1 CAD = 152naira. Use your online currency converter. I no be your bros o! If you call me sis, I go accept. |

BizBloke: Yes Canadian dollar and US dollar are different. But you have d advantage with US dollar because it is an international currency accepted almost anywhere. Again the US dollars have a higher value than Canadian dollars. That means you won't notice the conversion rates much. The problem is not really with the conversion rates per say as you will be charged the current value of the currency you are withdrawing. The problem is with the bank charges and visa/MasterCard charge you incur as a result of using your card outside Nigeria (for naira MasterCard)or using your credit card outside the US( for visa credit card). By and large the charges are not that much. I think visa charges you less than 2% of the transaction worth. Which is not much if you come to think of it. |

smile13: I guess one might still need to. Don't forget the dollar mastercard you're talking about is denominated in US dollars and currency in Canada is the Canadian dollar. The same 'very bad' conversion rate will still be used. Also, the Naira mastercard also gets accepted in virtually any payment points displaying the mastercard logo, though I don't know about Canada but sure for some European countries. I'm at a loss as to how to get some cash with me to Canada pending when one will open a bank account . With your debit/credit card, you can withdraw money from any ATM all over the world. No need to carry cash around. |

ChriGo: Oga siga talk say d exchange rate wen u get 2 canny na yoyo bitters oo .... If you have a dollar credit card you don't need to worry about the exchange rate. Which ever card you are getting should be in dollars. This way your card doesn't get rejected at some outlets. Please avoid naira credit /debit card. Go for dollars. |

laureek: Good morning people.hope the weekend was great.Thank God for a new week.i've got few questions 1. You will need to discuss this with your bank. Daily withdrawal limits has to do with your bank and the arm you are withdrawing from. alternatively I would advise you get a credit card from your bank. There's no withdrawal limit on that and its safe to use anywhere. I got one from Access Bank. You may want to check them out. |

laureek: Hmm,you sure say no be all this kabu kabu planes .cos the ones I checked are bout 350-410k. The ones you saw are on the high side because this is peak period. Yes flights can get as low as 170k during off peak and even lower. Pls don't waste your money looking for 410k flights. You can put that moni to better use. For me it better to enter a kabu kabu flight and save a whopping 250k than enter a classy flight that will finish my hard earned cash. Just my 50 kobo anyway. One luv. |

seunlovesa: need ur advice dear forumites: Your sponsors SOA should have money to cover ur first year tuition and board plus some excess. I'm not sure about the TRV part. Your admission letter says one year and I think that's what cdhc will be working with. But you can easily extend your trv once you begin study in canny. |
