Wait, why isn't dressing half naked the mode dressing for visiting a fiance's parents? Cause its decent?

Are the girls below wearing hijab? What can you say about their dressing?
This person didn't answer your question. But op, why re they trying force your write up to a religious view? Have you had issue with them before now?

you keep hiding..trust me no one will beat you if you come out and give it to us straight ok..you just proved my point already and as much as you want to hide it ..you are talking from the muslim side...FOR GOODNESS sakes, what do you want women to wear at the beach..its obvious because muslim women now want their own pools and all that and they wear hijab to swim.are you talking of the beach in DUBAIor MAIMI BEACH...lol...OR A BEACH IN BRAZIL...LOL...PLEASE MI LADY...what will you say about people that have different sexual orientation..throw them off the roof?no..people have the right to do whatever they want to do.i asked you something and you refused to talk about it...nudist..what do you have to say about nudism..if you tell me of our cultural side then i can somehow agree with you...this is 2017 and the world is changing incase you dont know..
Christian, Angel has stated it that she isn't coming from the religion view, let it be so na. Why re you tryna force it down her throat? She do you something before?

you can call it indecent dressing not to any other person.dress the way you want but dont force others to dress like you and thats why i gave you the example of rape and i will say it again.because a woman is naked and her legs are wide open does it give you the right to sleep with her without her giving you the green light to do so just because you think shes naked..its the same with the so called indecent dressing..BECAUSE SHE CHOOSES TO DRESS THE WAY SHE WANT TO DRESS DOES THAT GIVE A MAN THE RIGHT TO HARASS HER OR DISRESPECT HER?..the point is...everyone have the right to do whatever they want..if people support your right to cover your body then why dont you support someones right not to cover are you holier and better than them?whats indecent to you is sexy and hot to someone else so stop beating around the bush.its because you didnt follow her comments thats why you didnt know she was talking from the muslim side..she said something.shes not a supporter of people wearing bikinis at the beach..now tell me whats that is that not religioushuh
I read it all and u understand better. No one should support rape for whatever reason though. aside that, let us all stop the whole religion and tribal war, we were first humans before being Christian, Muslim, Igbo, Yoruba, etc. We should learn to treat everyone with respect.

I saw this thread a bit late when the heat had cooled off but I still choose to drop a comment that may make sense to one or two. I read about four pages of comments and saw lots of reaction. I don't know why some say the op is coming from a religion background cos I don't even know her religion and don't want to know. before I proceed, thumbs up to the op, you did great in trying to pass your point through your comments. I've come to truly understand that we all have different cultures and religion and up bringing so we re bound to think differently. Here it is, to those who support indecent dressing, ride on hundred percent and to those who don't, kindly ignore them cos most of those kinds do so to gain attention,,,also when you try to make corrections, you're told to mind your business like when the consequences comes, they suffer it alone. based on religion we have atheists and others who don't have specific problem with it.

P.S- due to the fact that some persons successfully translated "disrespect" to "rape" as their senses carry them, lemme state it that I support rape zero percent.

SirMichael1:

Majority? You refuse to take corrections yet again. These are your personal findings. You didn't conduct a wide range of research from different part of the country and you dare say majority?!

A girl walks in rags doesn't make her to be disrespected. It's her choice. Clothings and adornments isn't a yardstick for measuring decency or chivalry. Celebs wears crazy attires, don't they.

This is 2017. Everybody is bad but not everyone is corrupt

So, how was jamb?
Hahahahaha here the last statement got me

Just for the sake of ppl who might be a potential target for this harden criminals roaming among good ppl.. I was very busy then and needed to relocate bcus of distance I cover from my house to work.. So a friend volunteer to help we secure a good apartment around ojodu Berger.. Unkown to us the purported agent was actually a developer and he has committed same blocks of flat to several gullible preys like us,. We deposited 100k each for separate apartment,. After several months of unfulfilled promises he requested additional 100k as d flats which was under construction was almost finished I bluntly refused and claimed until I have keys to mine I won't make any more financial commitment,. My humble friend made another deposit.. After which I started my own investigation into the man and d house in question.. Low and behold several agents had so much derogatory remarks about the developers treacherous dealing.. Na them I know sey gbege don happen.. Bit my friend was adamant.. When the house was finished and we went to secure ours.. From long distance down d road I could see a cotton/window blind already In d apartment he supposedly bethroted to me.. See me dey laugh inside car cus I knew what had happened.. On getting their govt already took up the possession after several complains.. We were refered to Alagbon police station for an official complaint.. My brother and sister in d house.. My name was number 215...this man already swindled over 80millions from unsuspecting individuals.. Next I read d case in punch and it was all over the internet.. A woman I met said she paid 750k.. For 3bedroom flat.. I just dey thank God mine was less.. So ppl don't be corned out of ur hard earned money.. If u need a house do some research

Lol...Funny enough, I had a very big quarrel with my dad because of this man and his yeye accomplice that claimed to be a doctor at Eko hospital. I got his contact from a trusted source who did not know it was a scam. The day of the supposed interview, he called me to say that I have to go to Eko hospital first for medicals, then he gave me the "doctors" number to call. In my mind I was wondering which company conducts medicals first before a job interview.

I decide to call the "doctor" while I was in a keke on my way to the hospital. She now told me that I have to pay N15,600 in the bank, that she would send the account number and I would be refunded when I go for the main interview and that I must be in the hospital before 9:30am cos she was leaving soon. In my mind, I was like Eko hospital that I know? Which time did they stop collecting cash in the hospital?. I already knew it was a scam so I just cut the call and told the keke driver to drop me at the next junction. Luckily, we had not gone far from my house.

I took a bike home and my parents were asking me what happened. I explained everything to them, na im my pupsy provoke. "How do I know it's a scam" . We argued seriously, even my mum was trying to make him see reason. Eventually, I had to call the person who gave me the guys number and explained to her, she was now the one that told my dad that it's definitely a scam before he calmed down. I will never forget that day.
Yours is a happy ending and I'm glad for you. after reading the experiences of others especially that of iamexcelblog and gethelpworldwid, I got really sad.

Mine was very painful. Didn't have much on me at that time, so I had to dispose off some of my assets. Met this guy on Facebook, we started talking - he told me he sells fixed matches (punters should know this).

Sent him the money for the fixed match. Immediately he received the alert, he switched off his phone. I was very distraught. Eventually when he would pick up, he started telling me different stories till I eventually got tired of the whole thing.

Till today I have issues relating with strangers when money is involved cool
All these sure games story sef una nor dey learn? if theses guys re sure of the game, why they no even obtain loan take nak am since the return is sure,,,make every body wise up o. just as this Bvn msg saying your account has been blocked... and you still see people fall for such. I do not intend to support stealing, but why steal from the poor to get rich when there re people who would lost over a million and feel no much headache

usually don't comment on topics this long, but my vexation for the op is unparallel. your entire value system needs to be evaluated.

Did you open this thread to draw attention or to discourage virginity?
sometimes we fail to understand the impact of our writeups on an average Nigerian youth.

May you bear the punishment for all those that will be led astray or misguided by this post.

Many people just commented based on the title and not the post.
The OP made valid points.

If your viginity is all that you have to offer in a marriage, then you're setting yourself up for a shocker!
. ...and I'm one of those persons that read the post and have chosen to comment. if your non-virginity is all that you have to offer in marriage, what then are you setting yourself for? Just try to live right.

Na you get their time...

I'm a freelance writer and what I write is my opinion no matter how silly it may sound but when you see someone who seem to be educated ranting, cursing and getting hyper over an opinionated view then that person needs a psychological evaluation...

Thanks all the same
The matter hard seriously,,, people need to understand that we all have different backgrounds. Take the point of being too careful for instance, I've got a friend that seem all careful and reject guys and after a while she starts having regrets... wouldn't want to narrate stories but we've got to read , understand and comment like literates

Abeg people saying all sorts of things about this post should try to save their mb and not comment. Yes it is recycled then please don't read,,, you'll should know that it is very difficult to come up with a write up,,, the bible speaks about love and forgiveness in different ways so why can't the op speak about relationships in different ways also,,, besides you read similar post in 2015 does not stop another eye from seeing and reading it in 2017... All you've mentioned op is very true. Also people should understand that there re 2 ways to things it may not be totally true but with statistics the true side wins so abeg biko ejo in any language you understand please stop tryna frustrate the effort of talented beings. thanks!

Whenever I just see a thread by Toks2008 gbam I'm on it nd it never disappoints always on point, though sometimes with plenty grammar that I always have to involve m dictionary. Nice write up! The part I don't understand is why humans can't be humans! You don't concur with a write-up, then just pass or just state your opinion rather than giving a destructive criticism(not referring to this thread though)

Wow! This is not pleasant to a sound mind. I don't know the op nor his political or tribal stance but most of the replies he's gotten is so not cool. He truly may have been hostile to Igbos but the question here now is will insults help him in his situation? How about you offer your help and then give your advice? Don't you think human learn more under a peaceful state filled with love? Despite our various views towards life, let us first; learn to do unto others what we want done to us. Second, we should learn to love all without restriction. I believe most of us here re young minds(not children) so we should help erase hate among us and preach and act love and peace. To the op, I sincerely wish you get the justice deserved in this case
