As for the diversification aspect. We are trying to diversify our dependence from oil exports to other sectors. Oil, our major export, is loosing value in the world fast, one of the reason why our currency is also not in high demand. This is why the value of our currency keeps falling, and leading to the increase in the prices of good and resources imported(purchased in dollars) and affecting other locally produced goods

.While it is worth condemnation, One cannot ignore The fact that Inflation is all over the world, Ghanaians currently have an inflation rate of over 25% and are protesting bitterly concerning their high cost of living despite their low population , while Nigeria has a rate of 17%. Same thing in UK lets not talk of the sri Lanka. Reasons for the inflation:

The ongoing war, diversification of the economy from oil, covid 19, Fundamental problem of Nigeria not being big producer economy etc. Even USA is not exempted
