I once got an offer to join the DSS in 2020, I gladly declined when i got some information about them. Before joining know these few things, you won’t be able to resign after being recruited, you won’t be able to have access to your international passport unless it’s an international assignment which they don’t really go for, you won’t have a free life of your own for the rest of your life even your neighbors will be investigated and your movement, there is no retirement age also, but the job comes with a lot of benefits and immunity. But if you’re down for that type of job then go for it or join the military instead. I know many people doing the job. Good luck

Benz requires more maintenance and the parts are more expensive, but if you’re buying a foreign used benz and give the right mechanic when its due for servicing you will definitely enjoy using it

you have driven 8 Honda and you want to change people's mind to use Toyota, there is a reason for that. I have driven many car brands, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Volkswagen, Hyundai and Mercedes but honda remains the best in engine and maintenance closely followed by Toyota, Nissan and Hyundai. As for Mercedes, they can never be reliable like those others I do have a lot of issues with sensors on Mercedes and that makes it less reliable, one faulty ABS sensor out of the 4 will send the gear into limp mode which can never be managed unless replacement is done.
You see Volkswagen, I will leave those German engineering designer to God for punishment, they really messed up with the Passat, that car was one week one trouble it was a total black hole in pocket. I saw shagge ban sa.
The Passat was super clean lovely body and style 2009 model, managed to sell out and the new owner felt he won a jackpot for the ridiculous price I sold it only to call me back after 2 months of use that he is passing through shagge ban sa pro max ultra and his wife is seeing the car like a terrorist sent to their home already.

Clearly it shows you know much about cars, he’s just 18 years old that doesn’t know all these things, if he has experience with cars then he will definitely not have problem maintaining it but he doesn’t. That’s why I suggest he get a Toyota as his first car then he can always get an Honda when he knows more about the driving mechanics of a vehicle, I once got ford edge 08 but I ended up selling it scrap because mechanic destroyed it for me, if I knew very much about Ford cars then, that wouldn’t have happened because I will know when the mechanic is telling me the right thing or not and remember he’s getting a Nigerian used for that amount.

I have used both Toyota and Honda, my girlfriend drives the Crosstour. Take it from me that this is the best advice on this thread (Take V4 instead of V6 though for fuel efficiency). I drive the 2013 Camry SE V4, I recommend the V4 instead, It is the car that is best for a first car and still match up the luxury of the cars you mentioned. This car is value for its money and you don't need to be a specialist or need car maintenance experience to use it. The Cross tour has all kinds of issues by the time you've used it for a while, I also had an Accord 2014, It was quite reliable too but I prefer the 2013 Camry SE V4.

You’ve said it all, with that amount he clearly can not afford to buy a foreign used Accord Coupe or Crosstour of that year, he might end up buying an abused one for that amount and someone that is Young and a Novice will have no idea what to do when the car starts developing little faults like rough idle or Bad sensors. I have used 7 Honda’s and currently using 08 accord V6 but for a first car user get a 2013 Camry SE, Honda requires high maintenance culture and little knowledge about the driving components of the car if not you will probably not be able to catch up with the maintenance

Consider a Toyota or Lexus for a first car.

Did you guage your gear stick oil level. The gear stick colour is usually diff and its always close to newr the steering area,brake oil area. If the gear oil dipstick is dry ad below minimum, then your gear hose going into the radiator is faulty,leaking or the kazeems forgot to put fastener at the tip. If the gear oilnis guage,then it will be a switch underneath your passengers frot seat carpet. If after that was checked and all is intact,then your gear needs to come down. Maybe fibre is burnt filter is dirty or ?. But you will spend money

Exactly all what you stated here is what is happening to my 2008 Honda accord V6 right now, the previous gear got spoilt, got a new gear and gave Kazeem to fix it, Kazeem didn’t fix the radiator hose well To the gear, gear oil started becoming milky and blinking D light, now the radiator is bad and leaking inside the gear, I told kazeem to disconnect the hose pending the time I will buy another radiator, right now can’t drive the car for 30mins straight to avoid over heating the gear
