To God be ALL the glory, I got my BFP and Blood test confirmed it. The IVF/ICSI(One ovary, 6 follices was seen, 2embryo was transferred and 600thousand sperm count) was done at Kingswill fertility hospital at Festac after 7years and 10month waiting, he gave me and my husband birthday gift! This is coming after over 7years and 10month of TTC. I prayed to God to show me mercy.



*RESEARCH, research & more research! Pls. don’t put yourself 100% in ANY doctor’s hands without researching your options & being able to request whatever will benefit you and support from a lot of people on the group

*Insisting on the cancellation because of the two embryo but the doctor encourage me to proceed that God can perform wonder's.

In this successful cycle my lining was 9.4mm before intro of progesterone & 11.1mm on day of embryo Transfer.

*Castor oil pack on tummy almost daily for about two weeks

*Sometimes soaking feet in hot water for 20 minutes, before bed (also to increase blood flow to uterus) before retrieval

* Taking pineapple core for five days after transfer

*Insisting on Day 5 transfer: I had made up my mind after research that even if all our embryos appeared to be struggling, no Day 2 or 3 transfer; if they all died before Day 5, so be it. Luckily we had 80% ICSI fertilisation.
*After the transfer, taking DAILY injections (with Dr’s permission) 2ml Gestone and 400mg cyclogest; quite painful & bum already feels like a pin cushion but for me no sacrifice is too much.

What I’ve learnt (the hard way) on my long, long TTC journey:
No doctor, spouse, family or friend, can desire my success more than my own self: I am my own best advocate! My sisters, despite glowing recommendations of any fertility clinic/Dr, do your own research. Never be afraid to ask questions and always try to go with your gut feelings; run/’talk to your feet’ if you have integrity concerns about any of them; I have also learned that though often tedious and inconvenient, it pays to try to prepare as much as one humanly can (castor oil, massage, foot soak, taking Dhea, vit c, vit e, vit d and folic acid etc), before the embryo transfer and above all, to always pray for God’s mercy & intervention

Thank you to the mummies in the house for support. The Almighty that started his miracle will perfect it to nine month. My prayer is that God will answer every one too. Love you All

Good evening sabi mamas in the house.i just met with a new gynea and he asked me to carried out different test and the hormonal profile test indicated I have a high prolactin and he placed on parlodel and I started yesterday but am feeling dizzy and weak with sign of fever.pls is this how the drug make one?Baby dust to us all.

Parlodel has side effects mama. I took it early this year and the side effect was terrible for me.

Thanks to everyone who posts here, when I was having cramps, DH even went to get some herbs and from what I learnt here I refused to take them. I am blessed through this family even though I don't post frequently. Thank you sisters.

You're welcome. Yes you can. You can continue throughout your cycle once a day an hour before breakfast or stop the lemon/vinegar around like CD 18/20 in case of implantation and just continue with the warm water daily till after bfp. Baby dust.

It is well mama. I had a similar experience, I can relate,ttc is not easy at all, try what mamas have suggested, you may even conceive before you know it. Hope your husband is okay on his part. Give it sometime, and if eventually you still need to go for the HSG, ask GOD to make it easy for you and be determined, it doesn't really take much time, just try all you can to endure the pain. It doesn't take time at all. Baby dust to you.

Cherishyy sorry dear. It happens to some women. If you had continued with the HSG in such a condition, the final results would most likely be compromised. That is even if you didn't have blocked tubes, they may have seen blocked tubes due to spasm or your shaking upandan. It's not your fault dear. Your pain threshold may just be very low.

For now, why don't you forget about doing HSG. At least for the main time. You can be doing things to help unblock tubes incase yours are blocked or have fluid in them. Simple things like castor oil massage on the pelvis every night except during fertile n luteal phase. Add warm water or warm water with lemon or apple cider vinegar every morning before food. Before you know, you may conceive without needing the HSG again depending on if that's your only challenge. HSG though important in fertility investigations is just a test not a solution. My opinion.

Oh mama! God bless your heart for your kind words. I've done pelvic scan,hvs and hormonal profile, everything came out clean. HSG was the last on the list given to me by my gyne. I believe what you said I'll concieve without hsg. Today is my cycle day 10. Can I start taking the warm water and lemon or apple cider vinegar today?

Biko lemme rant
So I went to the scan center for the HSG, getting there I was told to sit and after a while I was administered an injection to ease the future pain. After some minutes I was called into the X-ray room to begin the procedure. I was hinted a little on the process and I agreed. Hmmm... It happened, my worst fear happened. I no gree open leg... This mama couldn't bear the pain, it was hell... Did I say they hadn't even inserted the plastic inside and I couldn't bear the pain. They stopped at a point and encouraged me but it wasn't just happening. It felt like trying to open a concrete wall. I cried and screamed and finally it entered. They allowed me catch my breath, in the process of opening up the plastic so the can inject the fluid the plastic broke that was when they all gave up on me.
Hubby was with me all along. Words cannot explain how I felt and how I'm feeling typing this. I really don't understand what's wrong with me I feel so bad right now. I tried to encourage myself that I'm doing this for my babies but it wasn't working. Hubby told them to reschedule it and I'll have to pay more money that I don't even have. I felt so bad for him.
Please forgive me for writing this long post it wasn't intentional, I just had to pour out my heart somewhere.

TTC is not a sweet thing and when one is trying for a child she will be so helpless and she will do anything to achieve that.

Let me share one of my escapades with traditional mamas. The first was in Bayelsa where my friend introduced me to her. When I got there,she checked me and said I was pregnant, meanwhile prior to that time I had been seeing a gynaecologist,so I asked her why scan hasn't detected it and I still menstruate but she said it was because the baby was shedding.

She told me that she can start treating me until the pregnancy stands. I was happy and paid #15000 for a start and started shuttling Port Harcourt and Bayelsa thrice a week. Leaves were put in the vj and it will stop the period and injection was given to me. I started bloating like a pregnant woman,my friends TTCing were happy and decided to join me in the treatment.
My friends too were checked and told that they were pregnant and the same treatment started. It was my friend that checked the injection and told me it was progesterone. Mind you we all graduated from medical sciences.
One day I decided to check with another mama still from Bayelsa but residing in my place. She checked and I'm almost three weeks pregnant and that she can develop the baby and stop the menses if I pay her some amount of money.

I called my friend and told her to look for another mama in her vicinity and check herself. She checked and that mama told her she was pregnant. By that my friend had stopped menses and was heavily bloated. I decided to also check with her mama and that mama told me that I was not pregnant that if I doubt her I should go and do scan. I was devastated and then my friend and her husband went to the hospital to register and scan says she has matured follicles but no pregnancy. Everyone was heartbroken.

I went for scan and myoma seedlings were found instead of pregnancy.

When I was going to Bayelsa for treatment I met with many mamas like me and got their contacts and all those I have their have stopped going to her place and those that had bulging stomach are still like that.

From my observation, there are people that conceive when its the time and that time may be when they are at the massaging palor. I may be wrong but I just shared my experience with them and I am not encouraging or discouraging anyone because if we don't try anything out it will look like there is something we've not done.

@wowfairy, sorry about what you are going through, I can imagine how frustrating it must be. Mamas here have said a lot , but I also want to encourage to work on your relationship first.how is your communication level? Do you guys discuss as friends? What excites you?
Take out time to enjoy each other's company. Play, go on trips together, have fun. You need to enjoy each other's company first, initiate the s.ex whether you are ovulating or not. You know those things that can bring the spark back into your marriage.
I believe when he is more relaxed, he will listen to you. Its not your fault , and I know its not easy, but you have to TRY.
With prayers , I believe your time is here.

Hi mothers happy new week. I am really depressed and y'all are the only friends I have. I am tired of life and marriage I didn't expect it to be like this at all. My marriage is 3 years going on 4 but I have not had intercourse up to 100times since I got married. I got married as a virgin and I looked forward to having sex with my husband which didn't happen until about 2weeks in as my husband always lost erection. He hates sex or maybe it is me he hates I don't know. I have gotten Staph twice,pid once within this 3 years. He doesn't request for sex and when I do it's one excuse or another especially during ovulation period this is someone whose sperm count as stayed at 5million with poor morphology till date. He doesn't keep to doctor's appointment, use drugs judiciously . I have ran all test and I have no medical issues. How long will I continue to wait. I have prayed and fasted and I always attend special programs but It hasn't yielded anything. I am really tired of living like this

Mama keep encouraging him, all will be well. Please don't give up. I've felt that way too. It was on my ovulation day and I was told to baby dance the next day after tracking but you wouldn't believe nothing happened. We we're just starring at eat other, there was no erection, of all days.. It was heartbreaking. I cried and slept off. I later got to understand that pressure doesn't work for DH. All will be well Mama. Sending love and hugs to you.

God has done it for me!! I don't know how to thank him. To think that I was here last month ranting and crying. He immediately dried my tears. Thank you all for your contributions. Special thanks to mama Gloriousheart for all your kind words, may God bless you.

- I did HSG in April, result came out and everything was fine. Then we started follecular tracking.
- My Dr placed me on clomid as I wasn't ovulating properly. He later increased the dosage. I ovulated but no conception.
- He already placed me on glucophage. He mentioned PCO. I was also constantly on folic acid.
- I cut down all carbs and almost stuffed myself with fruits and vegetables. Then proteins too. I started exercising too.
- The next cycle, Dr placed me on clomid again and gave hatching injection to aid ovulation. I ovulated. Baby danced accordingly. Few days later, he gave me progesterone injection again. When it was time for my period, it disappeared (I don't know what's chasing it LMAO)
- Then I have the most supportive, understanding and amazing hubby ever. We prayed and prayed and prayed.
- Of course my gynae Dr. is incredible. Very patient, always ready to listen. Picked my calls whenever we called. Made sure you explored the cheapest options first. Dr Ernest of Pearl Creations in rumuigbo, God bless you.

I'm just grateful to God almighty. Covenant keeping God. He has promised, he will never fail. This miracle shall go round in Jesus name, Amen.

God will wipe away your tears mama. You should see a gyne and work closely with him and don't forget the place of prayers. When God will do it, it would be like a dream, you wouldn't remember all the years of tears.

Good morning gtc mamas and papas, yesterday was day 3 of my period and I almost died of pains. It started around past 8pm on my way home by the time I got home around past 9pm I was already crying and in very severe pain. I,ve never felt such pain before and in my period day 3 for that matter. I don't know what could be wrong because I saw a huge thick cloth drop after a while of bending. The pains have reduced but what do you think could be wrong or anybody experienced such before.

It is well with you mama. You'll testify here before you know it.

So its day 41 and AF is yet to show, highest it had ever delayed was 37. I did a hpt on day 35 and it was a bfn. Mom is saying estrogen is just tooooo low. How does one start moving from 0.1 to 60? Its almost like its nonexistent in my system. DH is feeling less concerned, we live in different states, I'm really depressed. How can I start treatment or do tests without AF? Doctors are saying we are barely a year in marriage and we only get to see twice a month, so no doctor's appointment for me for now. I met a lady who gave me some powders for the hormones; maca root, dong quai, milk thistle and wheat grass. I've been taking them for like a week now. AF is still yet to show. I am just tired already.

Sorry mamas, I just needed to rant.
