What I do is to free my muscles, if you are tensed, your muscles will be tight.

Next time you could apply a lubricant before going, or quickly bd with hubby because TVS is more accurate than abdominal scan.

it shudnt be painful, they normal wear a small condom on it, n lil lube

I do o, no pain o. That was what the sonographer told me. I told him DH is flesh and not plastic or whatever that thing is made of. I was speechless, embarrassed and tired.

Good day fruitful mamas and happy weekend to you all. Please permit me to rant. I was contemplating posting this here because I don't know if anyone will be interested in this post or it might be disturbing. So, please I apologize in advance for my long post. So I finally decided to do follicular tracking and I was asked to come today by the sonographer being the 10th day of my cycle. I was told that the scan will go through my vagina and I agreed. DH accompanied me to the lab. When I got there I was asked to lay down and take my trouser off to begin the process. Then the sonographer brought his object to do the insertion. The guy tried but he couldn't because I was groaning in pains, and he was confused o and asked DH to assist him but it was the same result. The guy was tired and asked what my problem was and I told him it was painful o, I just couldn't deal. After much trying and thought he decided to take an alternative. He placed it on my lower abdomen below my tummy and did the scan. I've been thinking and worried since I got home. Biko what do you people feel is wrong with me. I can bet you it's not a psychological issue, it's physical, it was painful for real. The problem now is that I can't even discuss it with anybody cause it's embarrassing.

Am indeed gracious and thankful for what God has done in my life and will do in this forum for as many mothers to be will receive a greater testimony (Amen).. Got married  November 2017, hubby travelled afterwards, he came durning my ovulation every 2month, I was treating infection asked him to do same cus he always complained of itching after sex ( still happens till date), my doc said it could not hinder us..
   2015 (as a virgin), I always felt this severe sharp pain in my right pelvic, nd was told it's pid ,cus of fluid in my POD.  I was not alarmed (until i got married), used all antibiotics nd all yet just little improvement ( I stopped antibiotics totally in may 2018)..July 2018, hubby got in from his business trip nd said we were traveling together I shud leave my job. I did, (maybe I needed a break sef), we started a teaching hospital in the northern part nd hubby was certified OK, I did all test I was OK also, only the scan showed fluid nd dey said its likely PID still (I was devastated)..
Oct, I decided to embark on a 14days vigil prayer for fruit of the womb (downloaded MFM prayer point online) and cried to God, I did ginger and garlic combo started drinking it the 2nd day I saw my period. I told God also that before I left that base I will do something for the house of God over there (A pledge av fulfilled). Hubby drank the combo with me, he asked me to stop durning my fertile week, but he continued taking his durning that period.
I goggled nd found out about putting baking soda in my vagina to balance pH, I did it jokingly even hubby did  and we joked about it ( I poured a spoon into 75cl bottled water) but my inner mind told me to also deep my wet middle finger into baking soda and insert in my vjay, den waited 30min nd BD with hubby den slept off immediately. We left for Lagos , this was the first time we didn't put our mind in it (pregnancy), in fact my MIL took me to get herbal treatment (when we got bk home), we were charged and given what to cook, I got home prepared it but hubby asked Me to wait till my period comes. Alas, 26th day later I started having lower back ache, I cried so much for massage it was a pain that lasted for a week (I don't wish it for my enemy) I took a pt a week after my due period, and got my bfp.
    Am here to testify as I promised God I will, and I pray for every women here that God will bless them this year and grant dem double for their trouble, receive your bfp IJN. You can try the combo, bitter leaf nd scent leaf juice and the baking soda also, above all pray and make a pledge within your capability. Thank you mothers, your joy will reach you this year Amen.

P.s I noticed hubbby nd I always quarrel durning my fertile weak a lot, kept DAT in prayers also.. The things I did differently was that in Aug I got folic acid and vit E (hubby nd I), I took my combo immediately period started, I took warm water 1st thing before anything, did castor oil massage, inserted baking soda, vigil and my pledge.. I pray God changes all negative doctors report to a positive one in this forum.Amen, thanks so much for always replying me and putting me through mamas. God bless

Hello mamas, I write with so much sorrow in my heart. Please read to end and offer some advice coz I'm suicidal right now.
I got married in Nov 2015, got pregnant July 2016 and lost the baby as a result of IC in December 2016. I almost died from heartbreak. I had retained products and bled heavily in Jan 2017 till it was removed, I met with my husband March 2017 and conceived again, had a cerclage in June and all was well. All of a sudden I started contracting in September and lost the baby too a girl this time, almost lost my life coz I bled so much, was given 4pints of blood. Were it not for my hubby and God I would have gone insane, I cried my soul out. Had another retained product and it was removed late September.
I started having mucus discharge everyday, no period till Dec, I took primolut and started a regular 29 to 31days extremely scanty period but the mucus discharge never stopped till today. I see it everyday, worse after making love with hubby. I had a HSG in July which showed patent tubes with perifimbrial adhesion, had a Hydrotubation this month, took duphaston from CD 11 to 24, Bromergon too.
I started spotting yesterday brown and pink, no actual period, negative blood and urine test, mucus discharge never stops even in period. I've been crying since today, thinking of harming myself, will I ever be a mother?
Please I need hopeful advice, I'm all alone, feeling suicidal.

Hello mamas .please I am in a dilemma right now ,I even asked God to take my life yesterday. I need your swift response
my TTC story started actively this year after my fibroid operation.since then i had three regular periods but subsequently ,my period has been very scanty.though it comes every 28 days for the past 4 Months but it's only for one to two days and not heavy.I have used clomid twice and did follicular tracking and the eggs developed well but no pregnancy.
I saw my gynae yesterday and he asked a nurse to press my breast,small water came out of my left breast and he said it was due to high prolactin,he prescribed bromegedon and for the short and scanty period,he prescribed Primolut-N. He said I should start the Primolut-N on day 16 of my cycle for 10 days .and I should use three tablets daily.
I went to the pharmacy to get the drug and saw a pharmacist who said Primolut-N is old fashioned and i should take duphaston instead of Primolut-N that delays period.
Now I am confused,who has tried any of these two drugs,(Primolut N and Duphaston)please which one is preferable for inducing normal periods and fertility


Again ,can I combine herbs with these drugs or I should leave herbs? cos I have been on herbs for a Month now.I am also scared of the small water when the nurse pressed my breast.i hope it's just Hugh prolactin and nothing else.
please any advice? so sorry for the lengthy post,its just my state of mind.

Take it easy mama and stay positive. I know there are times we cry and beat ourselves but that changes nothing. Prayer changes everything, so pray and work. Work with with your doctor and stay calm. For the nipple discharge, it's a result of high prolactin. I experience the same thing and I'm treating it with parlodel. You shall testify here very soon. As for the drugs you mentioned, I don't know about it but other Sabi mamas will respond to you. God bless

hello fruitful mamas, since I joined this thread though not long but I have bin drawing courage here and learning new things, this TTC jony has made most women here their own self docs and even to others, like myself even b4 going to hospitals and after no doc has Eva told me abt pre vitamins and supplements a TTC mum should be taking b4 d jony or during d jony but I read them here and googled them after, am so happy to be here, well after reading I not some of d vitamins and has bin on dem, folic acid wt bco, vitamin c, omega 3, calcium ,zinc, b6, though few has finished and I left taking d odas BC like I said last tym DAT I want to run d hormonal test so I have done it, this is wat d result says,
Lh is 4, normal is 4-20
FSH is 5, normal is 4-20
prolactin is 22, normal is 7-17
progesterone is 7.7, normal is 5-35
testosterone is 0.7, normal is 2.5-10
tsh is 1.7, normal is 0.3-4.0. the result comment says ovulatory. I decided to share wt u mamas to knw if any sabi mama can explain it then if any has Eva had same issue can tell me how she tackled it, note... no doc told me to run d test but BC I saw women advicing dia mates to do it on Fb, and I also read TTC mums going tru it. please I need ur explanations and advice's on drugs if possible

My period is 5 days late and i'm scared to do a pt as I've been disappointed countless times. I haven't done a pt test in over a yr now because I don't want to be disappointed. I did the garlic, ginger, clove and turmeric combo during my last period and I had plenty brown spotting during my ovulation that lasted for about 2 days. I googled and saw that it was a good sign if fertility so we bd during my O. Pit me in your prayers pls. I need a bad now more than ever.

I have been a silent follower of this group after hubby introduced it to me. This is my 3rd year of gtc and I must say it has not been an easy one. Pls mamas I have a few questions to ask to clarify my curiosity.
1. can candida cause fluid in the pod? cos I have been battling with candida infection for some time now,though the last test I did last week showed mild growth of candida

2. can candida cause hot flushes around the waist, cos I do experience this once in a while

3. I just got the result of my hormonal profile and from the result, I had high progesterone. pls what are the causes and possible cure cos recently I haven't really been on any fertility drugs except folic acid.

4. did a pelvic scan and found out that my uterus is retroverted, how does all these contribute to infertility.

Abeg sabi mama help me shook mouth for this matter

I am 38 years plus ,husband not in Nigeria, but always home once in a year for 21days . My period length as been 3 days and 26 days cycles,but since last year after having higher prolactin issue period shift from 3days to 2 days , I came to Nairaland ttc forum last year and all I do is read and learn and I took Dostinex for the prolactin and it dried up, and around April I did follicumetry tracking to be sure am ovulating but I was told I have big fibroid and Nobathian cyst that if I don't operate it I may not be able to get pregnant, I was so sad. , I bought serrapeptase used it for 60days and stopped, drank Yimucao and Xixiancao in an empty stomach for 2 weeks and stopped all this thru June to July and ate garlic in an empty stomach for 7 days with warm water in August I started taken wellwoman max plus every night went back for pelvic scan no more fibriod and cyst ,September husband came home a week before period, a week after period we baby dance every night , before he travelled back 10 days after period ,period was due 2 days ago and when I tested this morning it came out Positive. I went to lab to comfirmed it with blood and is Positive. Let me tell you this, I mean you and you ,God is working on your case , do you remember that I said no woman in Nairaland ttc will be barren ,not even the blocked fallopiain tubes can stop you, if God can have mercy on me after more than 10 d&c then my sisters it is your turn to shout a victory song and dance.

Good afternoon mamas. Congratulations to the new mamas may you carry to full term and deliver safely.
Please I need some opinions, I have been TTC for almost a year now (11 months), I have done HSG, tracked my follicle. Everything is fine. Hubby is OK too. I have never missed my period before and I have 28-30 day cycle. I supposed to have my period on the 19th of September but it didn't show up, waited few days and did home test it was negative. So we decided to wait few more days and do lab test. I did my lab test today and came out negative.... Though I have been looking out for symptoms and the only I got is cramps, lightheaded and food craving. I have also not been taking any drugs except Folic acid and I see no reason for missed period. So devastating. Please has anyone experienced this before. I have google for possible reasons, I just don't understand.

Good morning to all, I have always been a silent reader but I have it at the back of my mind that if God answer my prayer I come here to share my Widd story.
I have been TTC like a year although hubby and I live apart. 2month ago I went to Oje to make agbo, so I took for a month. last month I travel to hubby base, baby dance while checking my ovulation calculator and I started taking my folic acid and b.co immediately after menstruations. during the week of my ovulation, I started taking vitamin E, vitamin A, and cod liver oil in the after for like 10days and make sure we baby dance during this period. note i still continue using my folic acid and b.co at night.
on the cycle date, I expirence cramp for like 4day but af didn't show. Also breast became big and nipple area is sore. 5th day after expecting AF I decided to do home pt and I saw two lines staring back at me with just #20 home pt. I am so grateful to God for this gift. I hope my write up help someone.

sometimes when I hear the stories of TTC mothers who have bin in d jony for long, I take courage from them. ppl might think u aren't doing anytin, my case I have seen two gynos, a man and woman, d man was good but d woman despite working in a general hospital but was a crook, never knw she extorted almost 200k from a friend also treating notting,until months wen she was advised by her sisinlaw to go for hsg, her tubes wia blocked DAT was all, on my case, said I have infection wen I don't, she told me to do hormone profile ( mindcyou she will telk u d lab to go,
)Nd said I wasnt ovulating, so billed me for treatment luckily I wasnt able to meet up wt payment b4 running into a pharmasict who I explained and he said I can take only drugs if d doc prescribe the drugs for the defaulting hormones , the doc refuse prescribing I begged her DAT I can't foot d treatment bill,suspiciously I went for another lab, good one if not best to me ,not hers lo and behold no ovulation problem an I went on my ovulation day,..., check for infection there and anoda place, nothing until I met d frend who also told how she scamed her too. am tired so I want to do the test on my own , share wt u guys then get any available drug and leave the rest to God........

Good day fruitful mamas... Where have we been It's been cold here o... TTC has not been easy, but I know that God will answer us all.. The month of September has been something else for me being that I had severe lower back ache, pains in my pelvic region at a point. I waited for AF to show on my cd28 but no show instead I was seeing ewcm. Cd29 came and same experience but it was watery this time and odorless. On cd30 I experienced dark brown spotting, and today being cd31 it became darker, I don't know if I should call it spotting this time, although it's very scanty. Biko, ejoor, has anyone experienced this before? Please say something
