i think for the intent to reside in ontario he should study the oinp website because it has information on what is accepted as intent to reside in the province. i know for some provinces if you do not have a relative you can use documents showing arranged accommodation or job interviews/ offer letters from companies in the province. also if there is proof that you have arranged school for kids etc. again, study the oinp website, it should have detailed information to guide accordingly.

For Ontario, you do not need family, friends or even job offer depending on the stream you were invited for.

The op can just submit a letter of intent in the placeholder.

Hello everyone, thank you for your contributions that I have found helpful and has had me glued from page 1. I have a bit of concern because someone said that OINP has changed a bit and it would be best to ask someone that has just recently used that route, hence my questions below - I recently got a NOI from Ontario and I am not sure how to go about completing the application. For my profile, I only put my work experience as a nurse aide which lasted about a year sometime in 2019. Meanwhile, I currently work as an accountant for a company but this wasn’t stated in my EE profile .
-for the resume that says we should list all current and past work experiences, am I including my current job as an accountant or leaving that out?
-for the work history that also says to list all paid work experiences in the last 10 years starting with the most recent job, am I putting the other jobs I did after the nurse aide and my current job or do I stick with the nurse aide job only for which I was invited?
-for the intention to reside in Ontario- (it says to state all established ties in Ontario), I don’t have a job offer neither do I have any relatives. How else can I state that I intend to reside in Ontario?
-what goes in the “other activities” section?
I would be truly grateful if my questions are answered. I also do not mind getting the link to join the telegram group. Thank you 🙏🏽

Not sure how to advise for your first question. But for the second, you do not need any family ties. You can get tips on how to write a letter of intent online. Just Google it or use Chatgpt to draft one and edit.

In addition, please keep your application as simple as possible. Don't add anything you do not have an explanation to.

It depends on each school. But generally, it's Academic staff that is on strike, not non-academic staff, so check with your school if they have officers working in that department.

SINP is very critical about their POF guidelines. Personally last year, I had to abandon my SINP ITA cos of their unbending POF rules.

However, with their recent stream especially for health personnel and some other regulated NOC, where you have to get a Job before you can even submit EOI. I am tempted to say POF rules may be adjustable since you already have a job. But pls do a thorough research on their site, since it's a relatively new programme you may not get many feedbacks past experiences. I dont know much about this new, get job before applying stream, cos I got another PNP and didn't push SINP again.

Final word: Check the specifics on their site and if still in doubt, give SINP a phone call.

SINP: 90 days before application. Remember you have 60 days between when you are invited to apply to SINP and when you apply (i.e. application date).

Some people believe you will be fine if you have the money 30 days before you complete your SINP EOI, even if you got invited immediately you can submit on the 60th day and this makes up 90 days.

Just another perspective, ask around though, to see if anyone has done this successfully.

Thank you Dimple10. So I just looked at the website, I called the number on it for Nigerian Training Provider. He said the program spans for six months, after which there'll be an exam in April. Next intake will be Sept/Oct.

Another similar option to CIMA is ACCA, 3 papers one free FIP to be completed at your pace and you get the same evaluation as CIMA. Pass mark is 50%. If you have an accounting background or anything similar, you are entitled to exemptions but it has mostly advised that you shouldn’t take more than 1 even if you’re entitled to take all 3.

I learnt that CIMA is less of accounting than ACCA. Besides, numbers isn't my thing. And I don't know if I can do CIMA without going to Lagos.

Yes, your husband’s pharmacy degree will be evaluated as equivalent to a masters degree. However, Pharmacist have a separate evaluation body so he won’t be using Wes, he would evaluate his B.pharm with PEBC. Yes, you can use your NYSC as long as it’s within the last 10 years but we usually advice that your reference shouldn’t categorically state Nysc to be on a safe side. And if your NOC is category zero, you may want to check if it’s in demand in Ontario and if you are on the 460s range, you stand a chance of getting NOI from Ontario. However Ontario requires you to have a minimum of 1 year work experience within the last 5 years.
