I perfectly understand what @TheCongo2 is trying to say. Why is the onion always on maybe the Black or Asian man to conform but the Whiteman can always go ahead and chart his own course. We consciously or unconsciously reinforce this 'supposed' superiority. I believe it will be seen as a barbaric act for me as an African man to slaughter an animal as part of my religious worship but it wouldn't be if tomorrow Oyibo decides to incorporate such into his mode of worship. |

EfemenaXY: I really wish you’d just create a new post rather than update a post I’ve already responded to with new additions.
Our so called “African heritage” endorsed the killing of twins, human sacrifices, female circumcision and an oppressive patriarchal system that subdued (and still does) women.
Most of these stone age practices have been done away with and rightly so. While you try to be west than the Westerners, you are beginning to sound ridiculous. Didn't the Europeans in the past burn witches at the stake, didn't they kill people that tried to disprove of some of their religious beliefs. Why are you trying to sound condescending to certain mistakes we made in the past? If Oyibo decides to get married to his dog, he or she can go ahead with that. We can tolerate and respect their choices but we can't accept that to be our norm. The Asians, Arabs etc don't give a shit about the abnormal things the Westerners do but don't the Westerners still respect them and place them over you? When you try to reason, think or act like someone, the best you can only be is a counterfeit. |

The black man in a bid to sound politically correct and appear more west than the westerner has continually made himself a joke. The black man will never take a cue from the Asians or the Arabs, your way of life is your way of life and the whiteman's way of life is his way of life. You can never be him no matter how hard you try. To each his own, Guitarlife fret not to air your opinion. Someone up there wants to be equal in all ramifications but doesn't want a man who strikes back when he gets hit by a lady. @Guitarlife, although I am of the school of thought that marriage should be a partnership. I respect your choice. |

SkyWalk12: I can’t wait to be surrounded by Caucasians and Asians. The years I’ve spent with you guys is enough. Funny fellow. Ever heard that birds of the same plumage flock together ? Not only you can't suddenly turn a Caucasian by mere association, you will always be the outsider you are. |
Renewable energy is very good. If you have been following the news in Canada, the liberal government is aggresively trying to get provinces to impose carbon taxes and shut down coal plants. Even the conservative provinces are complying. So the future is golden if you are in a renewable energy career. Provinces does not really matter as they are being forced by ottawa to comply, but Ontario, Quebec and BC seem to be leading the way.
Thank you |

This is bound to happen when people have various and conflicting opinions. Even in arguments, some lessons can be learnt. As long as the rules are not being broken, justwise won't be able to ban. Seems alot of us have mastered the art of not getting banned on NL. Oga Salford1, I have tried to get your attention severally but to no avail. I pray you tell what in your opinion do you think the future holds for one that has a degree in Renewable Energy Engineering in Canada & what provinces to look out for. |

Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Cherokee(m): 7:00pm On Nov 24, 2017 |
cochtrane: You don't have to sum them. They look good already. You'd have to enter them separately as different experiences. That way, they sum to 2 years for your express entry profile, and your first job of 1 year 5 months will qualify you under FSW.
Recheck though that they are indeed NOC A jobs. What of one with say 1year & 5months but with NOC C Job? |
