TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Cherryola: 6:49am On Sep 04, 2018
Madam what again can I do to my case apart from going back to first degree in Nigeria pls and need more advice from this can't i get approve without this I finish my OND in 2016 and have been working ever since then
Nogen:
@Cherryola, I would like to chip in something here. You said you have an OND, why don't you at least get a first degree in Nigeria and then proceed to Canada for your Masters. Trust me, a lot of things would improve with you by the time you are done with your first degree. The VO consistently do not see you as a genuine student considering the years of study gap you have as well as the fact you didn't have a paid job until recently. A lot of things are not working in your favour right now but you can correct those if you could at least go for your first degree in Nigeria or Ghana, then apply for a postgraduate degree in Canada when you are done.

All the best!

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Cherryola: 7:39am On Sep 03, 2018
@jnyuwa02 i have strong family ties and asset my dad have already gave me 1 plot of land worth $10kCAD and 2 storey building few year ago which I add the deed of Gift to my application as proof and the land survey plan in my name as the land new owner also have an investment with an insurance company which I told them I will continue to be running and am my dad next of kin to his bank acct I also add my 3 slibings birth certificate to my app which i stated there that i will come back to them and so my responsibilities as the first child pls help me with more point
jnyuwa02:
Since you have no strong family ties and strong asset, you need to concentrate on your work, showing your job prospects in Nigeria when you return. Get a reputable and respected person to write a letter of attestation commenting on your job prospect in your chosen course when you return to Nigeria. That person can say your career field in Nigeria is highly in demand and very lucrative, that the expertise you bring from Canada to that field will not only be respected in Nigeria, but will make you a force to be reckoned with. If you can’t find someone, you can say so yourself in your SOP. Since it appears you have some study gaps, try and cover them by showing how you have kept academically active or have been learning on your job and can still translate that passion for your work back to the classroom. Tell them that you are excited to go back to school and beleive your education Would be a great investment in the future of Nigeria.

@jnyuwa02 Pls brother you haven't get back to me
jnyuwa02:
If you sent your form through the web forum, there is no way Nairobi could have gotten the form in 30 minutes and made a decision. Web forum correspondence is handled by IRCC from Canada and takes an average of 10 days to process and be replied. It just coincidence that at Thebes time you initiated the web forum, that is when Nairobi unleashed its fury.

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Cherryola: 6:28am On Sep 01, 2018
I will be 27 this Nov
jnyuwa02:
Like Mcobex rightly advised you, travel history will go away if you can address ties convincingly. And your best argument in the absence of strong family ties and assets which you can’t do anything about at this point, is to concentrate on job prospect that will bring you back to Nigeria. And don’t assume you did study gaps well, cover that ground again because there is references in your Gcms notes about not been a genuine student. Out of curiosity, how many years of study gaps do you have and how old are you to be going for undergraduate studies at this point? I await your answer on the questions to know if you should still address study gaps.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Cherryola: 6:14am On Sep 01, 2018

Yes I did my study gaps correctly what they refuse me on is only on home ties and travel history
jnyuwa02:
You must ahave long study gaps I am guessing to be earning 104k and don’t even have a Bsc? You might want to cover that also by concentrating on explaining what you have been doing all that time; why it should be believed you still have what it takes to succeed in college. Here:

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Cherryola: 5:24am On Sep 01, 2018
@jnyuwa02 thx alot bro am greatful am going for 4years bcs in business administration yes I did add my payslip which I get 104k monthly
jnyuwa02:
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I wasnt ignoring you, your case is not one I can easily answer and have to think well before responding. There is nothing you can do much to improve your financial asset and family ties, if VO already deemed them as insufficient to guarantee your return back to Nigeria. You best chances is to zero in on other places where you better demonstrate ties. Are you employed and do you make over $200k monthly? If you do, you can present payslips and zero your argument that you are going for studies in the same field in Canada to seek expertise in the field, that when you return to Nigeria, you stand to Improve your pay and position with your employers. In essence, argue on your future job prospect when you return to Nigeria, that it is great! You can try and collect a letter of recommendation from a respected member in the field you are involved, talking about job prospects in Nigeria for your field should you continue with the same employer or decide to branch out and go solo. This in my opinion is your only way out of this quandary.

Pls brother help the poor boy my gcms note is not contribute to my matter
jnyuwa02:
All refusals need a GCMS notes, including Kenya. All GCMS notes are generic, but personalized to the particular applicant. GCMS help narrow the reasons of refusal further than the letter originally given to the applicant disclosing refusal. All refused applicants, including Kenya should order for their GCMS notes. It helps shed broader light as to the reason of refusal. GCMS also help reveal potentially eye opening information. For example I ordered my GCMS and found out CIC has been communicating with my school to find out if my admission is real. Some people have even found out a mistake by VO through GCMS which has led to them calling out the VO’s bluff, leading to their approval.

For example, a GCMS note I am going through lately said the applicant’s husband and four children are resident in the Ukraine that the applicant had not shown she would return to Nigeria. But this applicant and family had never ever visited Ukraine, but all reside in Nigeria. Another applicant’s GCMS I was going through, said he is been sponsored by a third party when in fact this applicant is self sponsored. These are blunders only GCMS can reveal and if the blunders pointed, can lead to approval. I advice every refused applicant to get their GCMS notes.
