Dual Core:
Upgrade the forum web app to its latest version (smf 1.1.6) and install enhancement modifications.
i think all that is being worked on now.
so lets just sit back and break some rules and get banned relax. 

well not that easy to upgrade to 1.1.6   it carries a lot of risk!!  loosing lots of active members, active members are those io consider true members of nairaland!! the number of members in the forum is the number of active members  [b]about a hundred and something thousand [/b]registered without a single post even since 2005,

anyway, the upgrade thing i guess is complicated but it remains a guess (from Me) unless the site owner airs his opinion!! all for the good!! Nairaland for life!!

Nawa o, i didnt know this game was a dangerous one until my friend got shot
because of a chess tournament.
Please how safe are these tournaments in Nigeria.

A friend of mine, who i used to play with in school, left my school for the UK

he got involved in chess as usual and entered for a tournament.

Only for him to get to the finals and some people tell him to lose

he thought they were joking and when he won, he got shot twice.

Luckily he survived and his parents took him out of the UK to Ukraine, sharply

he is schooling there now.

i just wonder if such stuffz happen in Nigeria too, its scary mehn!

i have been playing in tounaments in nigeria for more than 10 years, havnt heard about any major violence, chess is a gentleman's  game, the kings game is a noble game, people get shot in uk simply by wearing obama T-shirt it happened last week,

to the best of my knowledge  Christ dined with those everybody considers sinners once they were willing to follow him/they become renewed. Apostle Paul did unspeakable things like having a Hand in the Murder on Stephen/other saints of God But the moment he repented he became an instrument in the hands of the Lord!! Meaning MY PAST SHALL NEVER GOVERN MY PRESENT, for old things are passed away and the future (which is yet unborn is spotless!! and to say God bless a person(he loves to the extent of sending his beloved son to) is calling him in vain?? i wonder!!well the most important thing to me is OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY, and forgiven sins have no nagative effect on me whatsoever, it only reminds me of Gods mercy and gives me confidence to advice others on the matter!!
