, i am very rusty myself but i intend to go back to chess/competitive chess when i become employer of labour next few months(time for tournaments) i played some games yesterday on the net, i won 56 games straight on chesscube.com until i met a guy who claimed to be a british grandmaster i did not believe him anyway, i played him in unrated games we played four games and it ended 4-0!! i lost all four games, the most annoying part was i played some "this is my teritory "kind of chess but ended up losing in simple endings, anyhow we shall get to play soon, meanwhile obama won the game,

nice development, but hope they will carry it out the proper way

Two Chess players are doing a postmortem analysis of a game from the previous round in some event. Player 1 won a very difficult game against Player X (a female player) and Player 2 is asking how the position was won.

Player 2: you know, that was an incredibly difficult position, very tight.

Player 1: ah well…, I had to use all my experience in maneuvering round the board.

Player 2: please tell me; how were you able to penetrate her position?

Player 1: wasn’t easy, I tell you. After some preliminary thrusts and feints I eventually had to circumvent and enter from the rear.

EXACTLY MY POINT, TAKE A LOOK at my previous post, THE RISK IS THERE (apart from huge number of members) AND 1.1.6 TEMPLATES WILL MESS UP THE CHILD BOARD, i mentioned risk they said i don't know what i was saying, but anyhow NAIRALAND is doing just fine, thread opened for users just to suggest some lilltle little things they might want to see, not really a drastic change, after all the land might soon be as big as china at this rate of growth, but there might be other things that your members can suggest with great humility, maybe the chat thing did not work and the personal message was disabled because of spam/scam, maybe other things, maybe, left to other members to objectively say

  the exact nairaland theme for smf is the BABYLON THEME but this has been modified to suit seuns taste for nairaand using "modS" but i don't think you can get that same nice feel if you try that on 1.1.6  especially seuns  innovative headline, like recent topics, smf 1.16 babylon is whacked if you doubt me take a quick glance on egusiland .com 1.1.4 , and tell me if you like the child board and all that, if you still feel it is not complex look at what smf hacks is all about, i am an admin and i speak from my little experience, one love!!

how do you mean, rigged? by who and for who? with the risk of blowing my own trumpet, i am not a chess master i am a master of chess, my chess prowess can only be equaled with the depth of analysis of deep blue the genius of Garry Kasparov, the speed of vishy Anand, and when i play physically you sometimes see fire on the board, when i sac a piece because i have penetrated the inner chess shrine!!
