My fellow Nigerians, abeg help us beg fayose not to divert the forthcoming Paris fund to capital projects as usual o. Help us beg him to pls pay we civil servants and pensioners.

Again, help us beg him to renounce his new policy against the filling stations in Ekiti. As I'm writing dis, no single filling station is open in Ekiti State... We all know wot it means to we commuters and private car owners.

Na beg o... Make una help us beg him. Expecially those of u that chose him as mentor , godfather and messiah.

Thanks
boss,
i understand ur plight...but its not an ideal policy to use borrowed fund for recurrent expenditure. borrowing is bad itself but if u have to borrow...it should be for capital projects dat will increase productivity of your state.

you should be more concerned abt his committment to his intention for the fund.

If the money for the purchase of the TB was debited by the Bank directly from your friend's account then the simple thing to do is to request for him to request for his bank statement for the period and request that the rollover be stopped forthwith. He can take it over by himself.

If the money was paid to his childhood friend's account from which it was done, then he is at the mercy of his friend. Advice is for him to request a liquidation straight away. He should be in control of his money.

Since the interest comes annually from his friend, I suspect the money was invested in a fund management or BOND.

If you tell us how much was invested, date of investment and your annual interests year by year, we would get an insight of what transpired.
annual interest rate has always been in the range of 10% on investment.

We discuss openly on this thread. It helps others to learn as well. If you can throw your questions open here, you will get answers which will be beneficial to some one at least.

Please feel free to ask questions here.
a close relative of mine contracted a banker who happens to be his childhood friend to help in buying tbill. the banker i believe bought the tbill because he pays in interest annually but every other detail or document of this investment is been withheld. about 3 years on now.

is there a way of verifying the existence of a particular investment without the knowledge of the banker?

BusinessRe: Is It Possible To Do Business Without Borrowing? by chetaraph(m): 9:36am On Apr 26, 2016
It all depends on the profitability of the business. If it's a profitable business i.e returns is greater than cost of debt... Borrowing is even better than using ur full capital especially when tax is involved.

PMB never bought his love, His personality and sincerity of purpose enveloped in Truth, conscience and love for Nigeria gave him that god-like love.[/quote]He was never loved! Nothing like 'god-like love' for PMB. Nigerians voted him in because there was no better option not because of any love. Talk abt god-like love before election... U mention MIMIKO of ondo state, GEJ in 2011..etc. Nobody loved PMB, except His family nd kins.

On this ONE I disagree with Sen. Ben Bruce with due respect Sir, PMB came out to say it was GEJ effort that brought about the little improvement in power immediately he took over in May 2015, that he cannot claim victory on what he didn't do. Now on Fuel Scarcity, Ben Bruce will be economical with the truth if he pretends not to know that it was the prodigal son Attitude of last govt that lead us to where we are today with the way and manner they wasted the nations treasury and looting at the expense of 180million people. Ben Bruce is learned enough to know that bulk of what PMB paid for subsidy is a carryover from GEJ, what happened to excess crude oil money made under GEJ, why didn't GEJ and his Cohorts paid for the Subsidy in the last days of their dying, terrible and crisis plagued administration, what happened to the common patrimony under GEJ.........haba Sen Ben Bruce Sir I always respect your opinion and eager to read your tweets, but on this one!!!! its is over the bar
You can enumerate on and on the shortfalls of the past administration in terms of embezzlement!

The fact is, every government in Nigeria, be it state or federal level misappropriated funds. If only the chronicles of embezzlement is being revealed to you from the days of muritala Muhammad, u will realize that the funds embezzled during GEJ's tenure is like a cockroach standing by an elephant.
It just seems the sole ball game APC got to offer is to kip tainting GEJ the worst.

Good way to go in terms of putting an end to the menace of corruption in d nation but that's not the mandate they promised.
The government should start delivering the mandate, stop the excuses and let EFCC do their job.

Some people actually reason with their anus. No wonder they are called "WAILERS". Governance is all about continuity. If the current government abandons those trains, people will wail, now the Honourable Minister decided to continue with what the past administration left, yet people are still wailing.

What have you people achieved by wailing? If past administrations had continued from what they met on ground & reduced their rate of stealing, we wouldn't have been in this mess.

I wish I still got d link to PEJ 'S interview. That woman was busy making sense but we were busy making comedy out of her!
Sum1 should remind our presido that his manifesto included many other things besides corruption and it's time he attends to them especially the chibok gals, since they made pple blive the kidnap was real.

Oh sorry, dis post ain't going past nairaland forum. Wat a waste of time!
