If there’s a medical condition requiring progesterone, you can start ASAP! Follow your doctor’s orders as regards to dosage. Most times, it’s taken till 12 weeks (when the placenta takes over) or according to your doctor’s specifications.

Cervical cerclage is a minor surgery that is done by sowing the cervix firmly with thread within few minutes between 14-24weeks for women who have short/weak cervix or history of preterm rupture of membrane. The woman will be able to move freely and when it's 37weeks, the thread will be loosed for labour to commence.
However, progesterone injection is an alternative to Cervical Cerclage because of the latter's side effects which could introduce infection, blood loss for few days....
Progesterone relaxes the uterus and is given till 37weeks.

Enya am from Ebonyi and I love what he is doing. We complain too much, in other developed countries they tax you even for drinking water. I remember when I was in Ebsu back in 2004, the dust and bad roads were very frustrating..
