The guy said going back to the creek, he never said going back to ferment trouble. Just taking time out.
He is not happy and just erring his opinion. So let him be.
Bode geroge is not also happy and wants to go on exile.
Whats wrong with people going on exile. whats all this talks about......some no read even read before them start to write.
Lets hope the new change has some fair deals to offer to all regions meeting different needs of different regions not milking a few region to service all regions , things don't work out that way. The new government had better come up with other sources of income for the economy
spread across from every region and also allow the people having such resources to also benefit from what they own.....that's is a fair thing to do. Allocates contracts to them as well, let them own the oil blocs , those with steel let them own the steel wells etc...

The South East actually won this election for Buhari because they stopped PDP from posting the 'usual' results. Abia posted only 300k from 1.7m in 2011 which would have cancelled out Katsinas 1.1m and Ebonyi 200k from 1.2m which would reduced Kano's 1.9m.
Nonsense talk. Those were the people who actually voted. Even though GEJ still won in those regions overall in this election. GEJ did nothing for South South and South/East during his administration, this is the reason for the low turn out, so people weren't really happy. He concentrated on the north which hardly gave him votes.
Now we have a northern President in the making lets see if he will do for south south and south East like Jonathan did for the north.

I prefer to deal with individuals than party. But I have a soft spot for APC because they seem to present credible candidates compared to PDP who are mostly criminals and the ones that were not corrupt minded gets initiated.
OK time will reveal more. Until then we keep fingers crossed, hoping for a positive change that should unite Nigeria in a fair and positive way.

That would have been a great thing to do in other to have a sense of inclusion but it is politically not possible.

First Reason: All Senators from the SE and SS (both fresh and returning) are from PDP which will form the minority and the Senate president cannot be from the Minority. Except if a returning Senator defects to APC then that might be considered. But on the second look at it, it won't still be possible cos the present APC members would not give such a sensitive post to a fresh defector who never struggled with them to achieve success.

Second reason: since the inception of this fourth republic, no one from SW or North has ever been a senate president.
Political coup! format APC, Most big PDP force move to APC, few of you still in PDP pretend to still be with them while you aren't.

I need to share this information l got from a reliable source.
We should thank God for using Kofi Anan, General Abubakar and Thabo
Mbeki of South Africa to persuade Jonathan to concede defeat on time
& shut down hawks around him who would have Nigeria burn down instead of allowing Buhari to take over.
The gentlemen were at Hilton hotel and General Abubakar instructed
some one at the collating center to inform him when it is mathematically impossible for Jonathan to win. And so, the moment Delta state was announced the man called General Abubakar who swiftly moved to Aso Rock with the two other men, and they
persuaded Jonathan that since it was impossible for him to win now, he should please call Buhari to congratulate him for the sake of peace in Nigeria.
The moment Patience Jonathan heard that she started shouting that
Jonathan should not do it, that how can dey hand over to Almanjiri
people? At that point Kofi Anan begged her and Jonathan went on to call Buhari, and they quickly leaked it out to the Press.
lt was revealed that it was Patience Jonathan that sent Orubebe to
scatter the Collation Centre!
May God deliver us from bad spouses
Please enough of all this source less instigating talks. Its now time to change Nigeria abi? while we look forward to that, lets stop nonsense talks without facts and see what the change has to offer!!

OP needs Jega in her life...

The first photographs of celebrations we saw came from Akwa-Ibom. They were NOT wearing Hijabs or Jalamirs. They were the same people that your PDP said were all for them. All the rigging videos in the public domain about this election, came from your own strongholds .... The protests too..... The killings too.

This election ended peacefully and the man who lost saw the handwriting clearly. He did his best but Nigeria was not satisfied.

Obviously, some people (of which group you belong), won't like PDP's loss, but you have only yourself to blame. If Goodluck Jonathan had acted the last 5 years the way he acted the last 5 weeks, we'd be congratulating him today. Most people saw boko haram being suddenly defeated, as an indictment- WHY NOW? When madam peace insulted the northerners as bearing kids they cast on the roads and the husband kept quiet, you were losing friends. When asari dokubo called some parasites and called others slaves, you were losing friends. When you online warriors depended on power of incumbency and the military, rather than on Nigerians, you were courting disaster. When APC was campaigning but Ghost Worker (NamadI Sambo) was saying Buhari would Christianize Nigeria in the north and Islamise it in the west, people were watching and thinking, WHAT DA FVCK?

Those your new found enemies came out and denied PDP continuity. You can make more enemies now if you wish. But reasonable people know that you can not make me your friend by beating me, slapping me and mocking my ancestry.

Just as Orubebe was Jega'd on international TV, Nigeria has openly Jega'd the PDP.

Deal with it.
Hate words should leave! it will soon be work time.

Once again i congratulate Buhari for emerging Nigeria's new president and also Jonathan for conceding. Both are African records.

Now, i've been seeing comments about Igbos flying all around from nairaland to social media sites and it's really pitiful that Nigerians can descend to such levels of hypocrisy. I for one have wondered why Igbos believe so much in Jonathan. it actually beats me. But i realized that's the beauty of democracy. You never just understand why people support the other candidate and you probably will never understand. They also don't understand why you're supporting your own candidate. it's a two way street. My major grouse is the fact that people are tainting the support of majority of Igbos for Jonathan as a tribal thing and i'm like WTF. How can it be tribal even when the person they're supporting is not even Igbo. It's hypocritical that Buhari swept the North just like he did in 2011 and nobody is accusing them of tribalism considering that Buhari is hausa/Fulani but you're accusing a tribe that supports someone who's not their tribesman for tribalism. You can accuse these people for anything but never tribalism. They reserve the unapologetic right to support who they deem fit and it's not anyone's business.

Congrats Buhari
You talk well!!

Believe in urself no matter how many times you fail you will surely triumph one day.. NEVER GIVE UP....President Buhari tried 3 times and didn't succeed, but he never gave up and here he is being announced as the PRESIDENT-ELECT of the federal republic of Nigeria today

This is not just a victory to APC but a victory to the masses, cuz now we know our votes counts and any government who believes in enriching his pockets instead of doing its job would only have itself to blame after 4 years cuz we all gonna vote them out once again.

Many thanks to PROF JEGA for being an unbiased umpire and remained calm at the critical stage where everything could have been destroyed, but we thank God we the masses had the final smile

To all the PDP supporters on Nairaland that had called me different names and abuse the entire of my generations, well in the mood of happiness i forgive you all and i believe whats more important is that we are Nigerians and Moving this country forward is our main target , and i pray at the end of this administration we would all have a reason to celebrate as we did when the results were announced.

Propaganda Big lie.!!!!! Those are APC people not rivers state people . We just got a call from an APC family member, saying APC people are protesting on Aba Road Port Harcourt. Most people Voted for PDP at yesterdays votes in port harcourt. At my centre mostly voters , voted for PDP with few scanty APC counts, so it was also in many locations in PH. This is purely an APC protest and propaganda and I feel is out of shame and defeat they took to the streets. Mtchew!!! As I write I am still happily looking at my purple painted finger , painted after my accreditation yesterday before voting. Am so happy for a chance to vote and exercise my civic right. I hope I have not campaigned!!! remember no campaigning henceforth till the elections are over. Have a Nice day everyone, free from hate and propaganda , vote for candidate of your choice, hope he wins and if he looses, is not the end of the world. We might not all be rulers but we can contribute to up lift Nigeria in our own little ways. You do yours, I do my own little, the country moves.

9JA NOTEBOOK: PDP inciting Igbo against Yoruba in Lagos –Group http://9janotebook..com/2015/03/pdp-inciting-igbo-against-yoruba-in.html?spref=tw

A pan-Igbo group, Association for the Defence of Igbo Interest in Lagos, has accused the Peoples Democratic Party of pitting the Igbo against Yoruba so as to gain political advantage.

The group said this during a press conference in Lagos on Wednesday.

The Chairman of ADIIL, Prof. Chris Nwaokobia, said the PDP had labelled the All Progressives Congress as an anti-Igbo party, thereby causing disunity in the state.

He, however, maintained that Igbo people were never discriminated against in the state as they had benefitted from appointments more than any other non-indigenous ethnic group in the state.

Why in Lagos onlyhuh It is not true. False!!! This is purely an APC Propaganda. Divide and rule method will not help them in this race.
Yorubas and Ibos are united and working just fine together depending on the party they belong. Why is APC trying to make create ethnic issueshuh This is false.
