They want to become competition to get YOUR man. no shame at all. I am now happily married to a fine 6 foot 4 nigerian chocolate model type who is honest and committed, so i no take am lightly o. my ex boyfriend who is nigerian dated a girl from Cambodia before me. actually, he hadnt broken up with her yet before getting with me. he told her he wanted a break only. when she walked in on us in bed, she just stared and then ran from the room. i heard alot of screaming later, but she ended up saying she was going to committ suicide. She never did, but she constantly sent him notes asking him to leave me. he let me read them, but he continued to be a "friend" to her to keep her from killing herself. This guy was NOT EVEN ALL THAT. HE WAS LIKE A BALDING BABOON WITH BIG LIPS N NOSE, but a very good spirit and personality to be around. thats all this bastard had going for him. We moved in together and got engaged. this all went well for 2 years until i found out that the cambodian chik is the one that put the down payment on our apartment, and he never told her he lived with me, or that we were getting married. he ws still going to lunch with her daily at work. i broke it off with him after that.

this is just one stupid thing he did. he was also into some 419 stuffs that i cannot say, but it helps him to travel to naija 2-3 times a year to see his many girlfriends.

aheh, yes. but keep in mind that the chik wouldnt typically be carrying around a stack of condoms if she had a full time man. he would always feel a bit unsure, or insecure about her intentions then. Most girls that do that are carrying it for "just in case". and i bet they dont have a committed relationship to ANYONE. 

from what i see, most of the teens walking around the mall are in some pretty colorful shirts that hav cut-outs in back or front. and the girls are wearing alot of high waisted pants. or mini skirts with leggings underneath. i have seen some 15ish lookin chiks with tiny shorts over leggings as well.

I am in the process of starting the same business idea for Lagos. I am a fashion major in California and I noticed that at the mall i went to in naija(was it SILVERBIRD?), Wrangler was one of the only stores there that most young people there could afford. All of the other boutiques were high end and stuffy looking dress clothes that only elite or older working class people in naija could buy. Gucci sunglasses that were going for $300? PLEASE! I know Nigerians love nice things, but what about the seriously well made knock-offs that are great quality and sell for about $60? I didnt see that there. I would love to have a boutique at Palms or Silverbird that sells real designer things(for people that can afford it), and also sweet fakes that are good quality and last long(for students who want to look hot but at a better price). At least thats how the malls here in the USA works, it appeals to everyone rich, poor and in between. Things are put on the "sale" rack and advertised, then business from young people comes right away. Im learning these things about Naija, and i noticed that no matter how poor or low income an area may get, Nigerians will always want the latest styles and trends. QUALITY CLOTHING WILL ALWAYS BE IN HIGH DEMAND THERE. I cannot wait to do business there. It takes too many degrees and/or business licenses to have all of that in US.

i hear that Genny was the highest paid actress in 9JA. and i think its for her looks and promiscuity. plus she can get down pretty sassy on screen. But in person she is not all that. i have seen her in action twice in nigeria while on the set, where her and Desmond Elliot were a couple. and once on an "economy class" flight coming from Amsterdam with her manager, She was wearing a fake afro, and a short top that showed her full stomach which (at the time) was out of shape and had sooo many stretch marks. is that the best she can afford?
