Thanks bro, I later won two other domains but to my greatest surprise the two domains were canceled. They said the owner re-register them again. I will continue to put more effort. But please, I need a good format on how to write to the end user. I will really appreciate your kindly support. Thanks, God bless.

the domain in question is getjoy
Am sorry to say: i see no value in that domain.

It would have been a nice brandable if it was .com

Who knows u may sell it for a big cash.

Finally: you may not get a buyer here (99.5%).

Good luck

Just received an offer of $299 for a domain I picked for $9.17 last night

Pick the right domain,

put on undevelop.com with your minimum price

And start contacting end users.

I am still contacting end users when I received the offer and it's a geo domain. The subject line? Same thing I talked which Chibenze described as spammy, yet I have sold over 6 domains since I started using this method and for this particular domain, everyone that received the email OPENED to read it. smiley
Lol. U keep mentioning my name.

I never said ur method is bad, personally i will not use it because it look spammy to me.

One thing you should note which i believe you already know is: a good domain name will always sell itself with or without putting the person name as ur subject.

Hello gurus in house, I need your advice. I've been following this thread and some other threads to know more about Domain stuffs. Thanks to all! But please, i have a challenge. I'm currently using dynadot.com to get some good domain through auction but to my surprise after locating some good domain with good revenue and end-user through rigorous research ,people always outbid me before the time elapsed. Please, what is the secret behind bidding? someone should help me. Thanks
Bid at the last secs to go if u have a good network or u using a proxy bid (bid higher than the current price last mins to go). Bid what u can afford to pay.

Dont forget to use google if u need more info.

WebmastersRe: Facebook Is Trying To Kill Facekobo.com - A Nigerian Website by Chibenze(m): 1:54pm On Mar 02, 2016
dinggle:
My question
They have the right over your domain becuase you infringe into facebook trade mark.

For example in your about page you wrote abt facebook: Facekobo is the social network to connect, share,
advertise. The Facebook alternative for users
dissatisfied with Facebook's handling of users
privacy settings and its mind control experiments.

You made a big mistake bro by writing the above. In real sense the have no case (u will win them) but the above will make them win you easily.

I am a domainer (i buy and sell domains). I have some knowledge about trademark.

If you are wise follow this tips i will give you now.

1. Remove every of your write up that contain facebook etc.

2. Remove/ block every ad that show facebook.

3. remove every logo of facebook from ur site.

Though this is some how a serous case because you are also in the same niche which facebook. also ur domain was reg jan 2015... All this a pointing to bad faith bro.

Now this is my brotherly advice to you:

Take down your domain name reg another domain and continue with ur site but never for get advice: 1, 2 and 3 even when you have gotten another domain.

Once again take down the domain.

GOD BLESS NIGERIA

My mind tells me this is no good call.

Did she say her name is Gbemisola?
Is the number +12341407319?

I got a call this morning that went EXACTLY the way yours did.

I smell a rat. Seems that call was done from a script. They cut the line without mentioning any domain name.

I think the call was to verify that the whois phone number is correct. To what purpose, I don't know.

Strange!!!!!
Thanks for the update.

which domain name are you referring to? the one you wanna sell or the end user's own
thanks

company nairalandR.com might take an interested in buying it....

Hope you understand now?

Hello house,
Finally, after a few months am on the verge of completing the sale of my first domain sale.
Though i'am ardent follower of this thread am more of a silent learner.
I made a few mistakes (that's for sure we all make them) but i've finally gotten the hang of it.
Just sold Texasautowholesale dot com which i picked up for $42 some months back through enduser mail for $150 remain to push to buyer.
Though it's not much but for my first sale it's awesome to me.
Hoping to get into the $xxxx zone.
Thanks to Chibenze, 2sex, oladayo and the rest of the members of this great thread, you all have been an inspiration.
Wow. Congrat bro.

Nice start. Sure you will hit $xxxx soon, keep selling for now the more you sell the more you expand in knowledge, skill etc.

Congrat once again.

Greater sales ahead of you.

Lol. That's you. But you read the emails right? That's the point.

Is it not when you read the content that you decided whether to delete it or not?
i delete them immediately, i don't even dream of clicking it never except am expecting such a mail from someone i know.

to me is a big scam.

i like the 2nd suggestion (if you fix my company name) i must open it jor to see if it is a message for my company etc.

i do fix the domain name i want to sell in my subject e.g nairaland.com domain name or nairaland domain name or nairaland domain etc.

why it will not go to spam folder is because of the content i use, i.e I always specify the company domain name in my message to every end users, thereby making all mail unique and spam free

Note all: these are just my own way and opinion i maybe wrong because am still a newbie.

Tip:

When contacting end users, make your subject be the name of the owner of the domain on whois.

For instance Chibenze Chukwuma is on whoise.

Your email subject should be Chibenze Chukwuma

This makes them click through to want to read your email because your major first aim should be to make them want to click through and read. Using the domain name as subject is kind off spammy and looks robotic in a way but if you use the name of the person, it looks real and curiosity would want to make them click. I have had high click through rates this way. They ALWAYS open my emails.

But if the name is not on whois, use the name of the company as subject or at least, their domain name.

ALSO often make sure that you find the owner of any domain name. If the IT guy has his email on the whois, ignore the whois and search for the owner for as long as you can. If you don't find the owner, it's best to just forget the domain name.

My approach is to get a domain sold and not to keep for too long so I usually ensure I find a buyer before I think of picking a name, even if it meets my other undercover criteria. I must confess that this cost me the lose of HomesPrint.com though but that's life smiley Happy new week fellas. Happy hunting.

Have a nice day.
it is a nice suggestion. thanks for the tips.

personally i will not try this method because it look spamming to me, i have gotten some mail where the fix my name as their subject... i just delete them immediately.

well it is always good to use what work for you, everyone has his or her own method.

thanks once again for sharing.

If you have a functional brain, I bet you should learn to use and in case it can't tell you what to do, let me spell it out... CREATE YOUR OWN DAMN THREAD AND POST IT THERE.

For fund raising by schools, lol.

Hmmm. I actually didn't check all, but some are developed.

I did a little research before buying it, used filter on expireddomains.net , I saw it has a good CPC ( over $4), good page ranking, by low traffic and Alexa ranking..

Lol, believe be, I'm a newbie, heard about godaddy over 5years ago, but didnt do anything.

Thanks all the way bro.
Ok. Bro.

Wish you the best.

Who knows? You may endup selling this name for a huge price.

Does it have a good market value, in terms of selling and parking? smiley
You bought the name to sell or develop?

If it is for sale, who do you intend selling it to?

And what do you think this domain will be use for?

You may say other extension has been reg, but has any been develop?

Or maybe u check estibot and worth is $20K thus that make a domain valueble to reg or buy?

this are question you should ask urself b4 thinking of buying any domain that is if you are really a newbie like me.

Well overall it is a good name has a page rank of 4 etc. cool if develop
