If I get what you are trying to pass a cross, you are saying people can say what they have to say without forgetting manners, moreso, when it comes to elders, right?

Exactly , moral standard is inevitable. We as the necleus race must never forget it,for that is what we are known for. But the recent trend of characters portrayed by most people is painting diferent picture of what we used to have. Am happy you are getting my point.

With absolute humility, i urge everyone to consider and reconsider what we say and do to other people regardless of age

I pity the kind of generation of youths in nigeria that we are leaving behind that can not follow arguement with constructive criticism rather than pour insults on their elders . Sat guru maharajji ,has made a statement ,and from the onset down to this point none of you guys has been able to ask strigent questions ,to ascertain the reasons sat guru maharajji made the aforementioned assertion and to shed more light.

Putting aside ,his personality., i used to believe in every nonsense there must be an atom of sense. It has pained me ,that somany nairalander here are so myopic and daft when it comes to issues like this.

The time has come when we look beyond the artificial boundaries and transcend to more enlightened contributions to issues. Am not been sentimental here. So nobody should misconstrue me.

I have said this so many times on here. I will repeat it again. Do not come to America with the hope that things would sort itself out. At the minimum, have your tuition for 2 semesters (unless you have a scholarship) and not just come here hoping that one family member will house you or cater for you. That won't happen.

In agreement with BigFrancis, I have noticed that those who have relatives in the U.S are the ones always complaining. Why? Because they are expecting too much from their uncles or aunts and get disappointed when that doesn't happen. Many of us here came to America without knowing anybody. I slept in the hotel for several days when I newly came before I got an apartment of my own. I knew what I was coming to do in America and was well prepared and wasn't expecting help from anybody. As bitter as this might sound, having enough money is the way. You don't need anyone.

Also, some people come here and study some courses that are not in high demand. I am always an advocate of STEM, any day, any time. I got a job because I was a STEM major. Just yesterday, Kpolli announced here that he got a job too in the West Coast - most likely in the Silicon Valley or the Bay Area, because that is where things happen in the IT world. Although, there are some people who finished school and still haven't gotten their dream jobs, but they are still managing some where, any how because they went to school. Some even went further to pursue a PhD. A good Nigerian-American girl would even be ready to marry you if she knows you have an advanced degree. That would make your searching easier as well.

Overall, bring enough money when coming here and complete your studies. If you have no money, then be prepared for the worst and don't blame any uncle or aunty for that. Everyone is on their own in America.

Thumps up bro ,you did really clearified something here.

I give glory to the Almighty God who gave me the privilege to share this great experience. But surely not all people will believe my testimony, but blessed are you who believe the word. I was right on my bed lying down to take a sleep when i saw myself in the spirit been carried away by chariot of horses with different colours ( white, black )and i was on the chariot moving in the atmosphere, taken away in the sky outside the earth and as i was going i saw outside of the earth, the sun and also the stars, moving in speed with the chariot of horses. And it got to a point when i got to a place where the chariot now stopped which i then stopped and came down a and behold i saw a mighty gate before me which is whiter than snow written on top of it "city of angels"This gate was opened and i saw the street very clean and also whiter than snow and of a sudden i saw angels moving to and fro in speed in white garment as people so busy with what they are doing and immediately i saw an angel stood before me to attend to my presence, and we begin our journey while he began to show me several places in heaven. He showed me father Abraham's house in heaven.......this house is really a mansion which i cannot compare anything with it and he also took me into a mansion that is so beautiful which i saw several things in that house with the living bed too that no one has ever seen before and also a standing mirror with golden design and is glass was so clean and clear like a crystal which made me to move closer and touched the glass and as i touched it with my finger the glass was now soft and moved in as if i touched a cushion and it moved in and also came out back when i removed my finger and i was scared immediately because have never seen anything like that before in my whole life.
Beloved, i must confess there is nowhere you can compare heaven with on this planet..............ohhhhhhhh,what a lovely and beautiful place. And the angel that stood beside me now made me realise that i will have to return back to the earth which i refused that i was not going to return but of a sudden he showed me the earth where i saw a whole lot of crowd calling my name to save them, and as i see this mighty crowd i began to have compassion on them.......... immediately i found myself back on my bed on earth.
Brethren please i beg you in the name of JESUS CHRIST don't let anything make you to miss heaven.Give your life to JESUS today and he will save you,
Say after me, dear JESUS am sorry, pls forgive me for all my sins, i confess to you today that am a sinner pls forgive me.Am born again.Thank you Lord, in JESUS NAME, Amen.

My drivers lincense, c-caution, extinguisher, seat belt, break lights are always in place. Putting all this in place and keeping to driving rules is not difficult so why is it a big deal for you. This should only be a problem for commercial bus drivers who always want to cut corners.

Romance / Re: Nairalanders Please Help A Friend! Very Urgent!!! by chiboy429(m): 9:23am On Dec 07, 2014
naijaboiy:
This happened Last month.

A friend of mine travelled,,leaving his girlfriend of two years with his younger brother. He came back a week later and met only his brother at home.

After much enquiries his brother told him that he doesn't know what happened that she just left one morning and she was crying.

My friend hurried to her place and met her at home,,she was not looking cheerful either.
He questioned her and he was told that she was raped by his brother while he was away and that was why she left.

On the other hand,,his brother claimed that she was the one who seduced him. That she was always wearing skimpy dresses inside the house and she came to meet him inside the room one night.

Now my friend is confused,,he doesn't know who to believe neither does he know the best action to take. He loves this girl so much and it's difficult to let her go. She has been begging him not to leave her also. But he just can't stand her again,,looking at her eye to eye with that event in his mind is a problem. He had never suspected anything fishy going on between them,,everything seemed alright.

His younger brother is claiming innocent too and he's the only sibling he's got. My friend has been responsible for his school fees and upkeep for a long time now.

He doesn't know who to believe,,he doesn't know who to forgive.

Someone with a clear insight should please help!

Op,Have you ever looked for devil before if not look within women and you will find one . Am not generalizing every woman here but i do hope you get my point . Its better you forget the story and move on except you want to create an indelible mark for yourself.

NB ...dont Bleep your fellow guys style up because of a girl. Just an advice

Hahahaa ,dressing like terry g ? This is too humorous and speaking pidgin ,i do speak often but when you are in midst of queens english gathering ,speaking pidgin wont be cool .

Unfortunately you can change who you are especially the emotional one ,no matter how i try to be hard ,i cant withstand seeing such suffering on them without compelling me to help ,.

I realise that its not even their pleading or call for help that moves me but the situation ,like having to submit a hard long assignment in two days time and the person has not done anything or in test after 30mins i see my fellows paper empty kai ,i will be uncomfortable . Sometimes ,i do switch off my phone but later on feels quit and on my phone back

sometimes, not letting people know how smart you are can save you a lot of stress.......its normal you are gonna have many friends!! especially females they turn you to a 21st century SLAVE,you do assignments for more than 15 people cause they have to be different things.I'm not really gifted in the act of saying 'NO' to people....so. i take it up,project time;you're doing for more than 10 people......lemme not talk quiz and test + during exams you might have your answer sheet signed simply cause everyone knows you will know it;so i'm left to cover up extra ordinarily for a crime i didn't want to commit
its worst with girls;the guys stay with you for inspiration, the girls have you for 1 reason...
i gave up when someone gave me a textbook to read and help with a project/assignment
i have never taken this course before
not even sure if its from my goddammm faculty

I think we are sharing the same plight. The aspect i dont like is with girls ,they only remember you during assignment, test ,term paper, project and exams then they start using their subtle voice i dont know where they got it from but in the case of guys they will be with you in any condition you find yourself both rainy and harmattan season . Although girls that would remember you aftermath are there but few .

I can remember the recent case that made me wonder till date ,they was this direct entry guy before he got admission, this girl never leave my side at a point she became closer to me than my shirt.

When this guy came ,he started showing stunt academically ,he forgot that those in the system knew what is involved ,so this girl started running after him because before lecturer will give an assignment or ask question he had aanswered when result came out that semester no body told him to find his square root. The girl in question saw the difference as she got lots of carry over to chew ,she realised that the guy used her for his selfish interest .

during this period ,she dont even say hi to me ,i wod be the one to meet her and greet just to clear the doubt in me that i didnt wrong her ,presently she is coming back by using her friend as a front mediator.
