I'll put a positive slant on this. Unlike his teammates who would be tired after the Tues/weds games, He would have Fresh legs for the weekend games. Might actually end up being a blessing in disguise come the end of the season.

Great News My Fellow Rossoneris. Milan have signed Van Bommel. This addition can't be seen as anything less than a positive and on that I say well done to Galliani, Belu and co. He will now almost certainly replace the past his sell by date Gattuso as our midfield Wardog(Gattuso can be used in the Coppa Italia or in less important Serie A Games).

Also we acquired the services of his fellow Dutchman Urby Emmanuelson a few days ago. I am absolutely delighted with this signing. No matter how badly he does, he certainly can't be worse than antonini and of what I have seen of him he looks like a terrific buy. In the mould of  Dani Alves, defensive ability is extremely limited but superb going forward. He bomb down that left wing all day long and will certainly add a bit of "oomph" to our game.

So In essence, he is cup tied and can't feature for Milan in the knockout stages of the UCL,right?. . . . . Dang!!!

His contract negotiations seem to have fallen through, and I'm sure clubs like Milan or even City might just swoop for him.

What do you guys think? I like Dani, but it's unrealistic that every Barcelona player should be paid like Messi, especially with the debt situation. We would be sad to let him go, but I'm sure he can be replaced.

I doubt it. He would cost Milan too much money. Galliani and co are
looking for bargains i.e Emmanuelson and Van Bommel not expensive purchases. And if we so happen to splash the cash a lil bit, it most certainly won't be in that area of the field(attackers are usually favoured in that respect)

I didn't know Finidi was Betis' director of football. That's really impressive - hopefully some of these guys will be allowed (by the entrenched powers) to contribute to develop the local league.

I expect La Liga to become more competitive with more cash flowing in from billionaire take-overs. Malaga & Real Sociedad have been taken ove already - I expect the trend to continue, with bigger & more historic clubs (eg Valencia, Villareal, Sevilla, A. Madrid, Depor) also catching some billionaires' fancies.

This is a case of 'Let's wait and see'. Though IMO the better league, La Liga is not and probably would never be as "Profitable" as the Premier League(tbh, no league would ever be). So I'm too sure about the Billionaire investors cuz most of em' would want a return on their investment in the long run and I don't think any La Liga club(barring Real and Barca) guarantees them that.

Has He(Van Bommel) played in the champions league? . If he hasn't then that is good news however if he has then. . . . . .oh well, I guess we would just have continue with the past it Rino Gattuso.

What is hard to understand in saying someone has three hat-tricks in a season?
