1. I used statement of results, i don't know if it is same as success letter...

2. Evaluate your highest degree which is Masters.

3. Try and read page 1 dear

nasohian:
If school has not issued certificate can Success Letter or any other document from the school be used in place of certificate alongside transcript for evaluation
In evaluation,
If one has Masters, must BSc. (first degree) documents be submitted? Or just the masters documents is required? first degree and masters are from different schools.

Someone started this thread with wealth of information far back. The foundation was built on goodwill and heart of gold.
For those of us who say "this will deter people from helping". Trust me, there will always be someone to help even if 99.99% don't. Those we are afraid would stop helping, learnt from someone and knowledge will pass on forever.

When we stamp it on our minds that every reward comes from God, and that nobody knows tomorrow. All these bad vibes on this thread will stop.
Biko! Ejoor! Mbok! Sanu! Seh! Dooh!

PS.. Newbies I beg una, make things easier for yourself by reading page one... *it took me 2 months to read part 4,5 and 6, free time is a luxury for me but i read to avoid asking questions already answered.

My people, I am so happy right now that you would think I won the lottery lol My EOR results (from BC) came back successful! Writing was upgraded from 6.5 to 7 and speaking from 7.5 to 8.5. In fact, I didn't want to remark speaking, it was COPR that suggested that I do it just to increase the chances of getting my money back. Thanks man!

Also, to be honest I wasn't very confident about my writing because I didn't have time to review my essays at the end. All I was sure of was that I wrote over the word limit in both essays and in Task 2 (my task was to argue both sides and give my opinion), I wrote 4 paragraphs and used made-up examples in explaining both sides. I used IELTSADVANTAGE as a guide to structure my essay.

So my people, if you're looking for 0.5 or 1 point upgrade, EOR is worth a shot, go for it! Mine took 2.5 weeks in total. Thanks to COPR, fmsimple and everyone for your encouragement, God bless you guys plenty smiley

The icing on this new year 'cake' was that my ECA also FINALLY arrived this morning from ICES, after 4 long months of frustration.
CRS now standing at 459, I am off to the pool o, next stop ITA! cheesy

1.You don't have to send certificates and passport biodata page via courier. On their website while registering, there is a placeholder to upload the above mentioned documents in addition to marriage certificate if you changed your name.

2. Contact your school to send your transcript to them via courier or official mail.

yabadabado:
thanks abunch @pyruvateluv for responding and others that reviewed.

my understanding of the ICES process is

A, get school to send transcript via mail
B, apply online ..maybe u i will get an option to attach scan pdf
c, send courier package of photocopies of data page-passport, transcripts and certificates. to

is this the right steps for ICES ? or there no requirement to send via courier(option C) .

thanks for your response in advance.

Thank you so much to all who shared the Campbridge preparation materials. I got so overwhelmed with materials online so I decided to abandon them and focus on just Cambridge because they are the authentic questions. I also used Jay's writing structure.
I'm so grateful for this forum. I've learnt so much here.

I'm using ICES.

Thanks dear for your swift response.
Please in the case of IQAS where you have to attach a form from their website to the transcript.. How does one go about it?

I am asking for my sister who studied Law and needs to evaluate with IQAS to get the professional degree ECA.

zannie:
UNN itranscript service is very reliable. You don't need any contact, just go on the site and do the needful

Good morning everyone,

Please which assessing bodies favours MSc. Physiotherapy. I have heard you don't have to evaluate with the physiotherapy body if you have MSc in physiotherapy.

Please who can point me to the right direction.

COPR:
ECA is becoming a big issue with the addition of WAEC/NECO for Nigerian certificates by WES, so it's important to understand the pros and cons of WES, ICES & IQAS.

WES vs ICES vs IQAS

WES evaluates WAEC/NECO before degree certs issued by Nigerian institutions can be evaluated while ICES & IQAS dont require such.

WES verifies your transcript/WAEC/NECO by sending mail or email to your school that sent them the transcript and wait for your school to respond before evaluation is completed while ICES
& IQAS require ONLY your school to send your transcript and no verification is required.

WES requires your school to send your transcript by post/courier while ICES requires your transcript to be sent by post/courier or via official email of your school and IQAS demands for your transcript to be sent by post.

WES charges $200 for all documents submitted plus additional $7 for standard delivery or $85 intl & $25 for local; ICES charges $200 per document and additional $75 for intl delivery or $26 for local; while IQAS charges $200 for all documents submitted plus $15 & $75 for local and intl deliveries respectively.

WES minimum processing time is 20 business days when all documents are recieved and verification email replied; ICES is 10 weeks (some got their ECA report within 4-5 weeks) and IQAS is 12 weeks.

WES & IQAS send soft & hard copies of the evaluated document while ICES sends only hard copy with a charge of $75 for intl delivery & $26 for local.

NOTE

WES favours OND/HND certs & evaluates it as 2 or more certs. It also favours nurses with BSc cert.

WES doesnt favour LLB but favours LLM cert.

IQAS favours both LLB & LLM certs & nurses without BSc.

Thank you so much. i have long waited for this response.

Please for the ECA assessment, what skill/occupation do i assess under since i can get ITA without licensure.

Please reply me.
Thetherapist:
Of course, you can get a good CRS point without licensure from the alliance. Licensure from the alliance is a long process on its own from credential evaluation to writing IELTS Academic to doing bridging courses ( if need be) before the final exam. If you can ace IELTS with at least 3 years work experience, and younger. U can get a good CRS score to eventually get ITA. I know of two physiotherapist that landed this year and same last year. So its not something tedious with adequate knowledge and preps. Visit the Canada immigration thread here on Nairaland and read the first few pages to understand how the whole process works. You can start credential evaluation with the alliance when you get COPR.

Good morning everyone,

Please i need help
i have read through zero, and understood some.

i am a physiotherapist, with MSc with 8 years experience. My friend in Aussie said i cannot apply directly with physiotherapy because of the rigors of licensing and co. She said i must choose an alternate occupation/skill. If i choose an alternate occupation or skill, i feel i will stand no chance because i loose all the years of experience. Please any suggestion on alternate skill?? have anyone experienced this??
Meanwhile, hubby studied Engineering and all his experiences are in Sales/Marketing and his age will be minus 5. Please if he chooses sales, what about verification/assessment as his graduate certificate is Engineering.

Please Help a sister embarassed
