I drive a 2004 corolla sport...I try to do all the regular maintenance and use the required (or closest ) oil and stuff just to ensure that my car doesn't develop faults. I also service my car at a decent garage which is a bit more expensive but I can deal. Recently my car started making some loud noises that increase as I accelerate sometimes making me to have to increase the volume of my radio. I felt maybe the exhaust pot was bad cos the noise sounded like it was coming from there. In a nutshell the car was sounding like all these bug engine cars, driving isn't noiseless like other cars. The garage guys checked it and they said it's the wheel hub, really one. I asked if they were certain and they said yes. I asked for a quote and I got 58k just to buy one complete wheel hub and I need to buy 2. I googled and the prices when converted to naira at even 400 naira to a dollar for both isn't up to 58k. Please i need advice, do you guys think the wheel hub is the issue? And if it is, does it cost that much? Thanks.

udysweet:Thanks so much, do you by any chance have a phone number? Thanks |
Please does anyone have contact of a good men's clothing tailor in surulere axis. Anywhere around Ogunlana, Bode Thomas, Akerele, Ogunsanya or Adelabu. I need to make some clothes and I'm new to the area. Thanks. |
kakameks:That'll be too expensive, thanks though. |
Hello guys, please I want to tint my car windows and I don't want to do the one that is like leather which can be peeled off. I once heard of a tint on car windows that is like spray paint or something which makes your windows look more factory fitted so that our police men won't try to peel it off. Does anyone know about this and where I can do it in around Surulere, Yaba or Ikeja? Your assistance will be appreciated. Oh and I have a tint permit already. What happened was that I used to have the leather type of tint but didn't have a permit then so I had to peel it off, cos the permit took a while to get to me. But now that I have the permit I want to do the tint but not the leather type. Thanks, looking forward to your assistance. |

abyurla:Hi Is it possible for me to apply to WES to have my results checked without having done any application? I intend to sit for IELTS by August, I will like to know if I can have my transcript sent to WES now, my school knows how to delay in all these kind of stuff, so that hopefully by September they would have even sent the second verification response to WES. Please what do you guys advice? Also does you class of degree matter? |
solomonwis:Thanks for your response. benik:Thanks a lot. |
lavivaavril:My Bro will be leaving next week for Australia. He started the process mid last year I think. He got the migrant paper with 6 years work permit or something, after a while he'll get Australian passport with which he can relocate to almost anywhere. To answer your question, yes it's easier. The process is not like this Canadian one. And I think it's partly due to the fact that Australia is far away. |
Hello house, I was encouraged to follow this path after my brother was successfully granted migrant visa to Australia. I am interested in the express entry to Canada though, which my initial assessment on the site says I qualify for. My question is, I work with a Big Four audit firm, if I am able to get a provisional letter of employment from the Canadian office of my firm and submit it for nomination through the state I wish to reside in, will this increase my chances? I have 2 years work experience. Also about the bank balance, is it your bank statement for the whole year that is submitted or can I have someone put the money in my account 2 months before and just present one month statement that will show the bank balance? Lastly, will WES assess my ACCA qualification in addition to that obtained from my university? Thanks for your assistance. |
Oh my Lawd! Mehn if you drive a corolla be careful where you park it. The ECU of my 2003/04 Corolla was stolen on Friday night. After then, I realised I know two people who drive corollas as well, who's ECU's were stolen. This is really crazy. I am really sad about my ECU, started jumping bus today. Anyways while I wait for my insurance claim to come through can someone help find a matching ECU for Vin number 2T1BR32E04C789318 . Thanks |

Hi Guys, please I need your advice. My car was burgled last night, the power door locks and the brain box were the major things taken. I have comprehensive insurance with leadway and I just want to know if this will be something they'll indemnify, my policy does state that "the company will indemnify the insured against loss of or damage to the motor car and/or it's accessories whilst thereon b) by fire, external explosion, self ignition or lighting or burglary housebreaking or theft" Here are my questions: What do I do to ensure that the do what they're supposed to do. How long will it take for them to fix my car. .. seeing that damage is not as a result of an accident but theft. I took pictures of the car. Do you think that my reporting the issue at ikeja police station (where I live) instead of V.I where the car was burgled is wrong? Any other advice will be appreciated. I've heard of insurance companies trying to get out of paying claims. ..should I be worried with these guys?? |
CityNG:Police issue a receipt? Nope. |
My car was vandalized last night, the brain box amongst other things were taken. Luckily for me I have comprehensive insurance which I think should cover the repairs. I get to the police station to make a statement and get the report and I was told to bring 30k. This is the boss making this request oh, after pleading for a while he finally came down to 10k and has refused to go any lower. What kind of country do we live in? Where one has tobpay 10, 000 to get a police report. This is really sad. |
GAZZUZZ: Faulty oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 2, if its a 4cylinder its after the catalyst. It costs about 25k for a brand new one, 5k for a tokumbor 1Hi, thanks for your response, so for about 10k can get this sorted? What about the tank cover how much will it cost? 3ace: Op, apart from the first two codes in the report you provided, I'm also facing the same issue with the last two codes(PO705 & PO850). I just created a thread concerning this and people here might think we are one and same person. I don't know about the other codes but those last two which I'm also experiencing are transmission issue and like you said, you won't notice any fault at all-this has been my experience too. Don't let them rip you off, that 130k bill is highway robbery. Based on my little research, those codes shouldn't cost that much to fix but the problem is getting a good mechanic to fix it. The fool that came to check mine said my ECU was faulty and needed replacement simply because he didn't notice any fault too-I just walked away. If I eventually get a good mechanic to fix mine, I'll let you know and if you do too, please let me know. Thanks will appreciate that. |
Hello All, So I recently bought a car diagnosis check online for my car, a 2004 Corolla and this is the report that came up. The guy who ran the report said it would cost me up to 130k plus his fees to fix the car. But I kind of think he's trying to rip me off. the thing is, I'm not having any noticeable issues with the car, but the check engine light came on and I decided to run the diagnosis (although the fuel tank cover is a bit rusted, which I have heard could be a reason why the check engine light is on). What i want to know is based on the attached report, what do I need to fix and how much will it cost so I can have an idea. Are these issues even serious? I just serviced the car with the recommended oil like a month ago. Is there a Mechanic you can recommend around Ikeja, Maryland or somewhere close? Your contributions will be very much appreciated.

Has the price not reduced since 2011?? |

Thanks for your response. It's just that I've been advised to go for a Honda or Toyota as this will be my first car. But I really love this ride. |
Hey guys, please I need your input on a car that i intend on buying. i don't know much about the car but it really looks nice and i would love to buy it. i just want to know if there are mechanics in Lagos that can work on this car should it develop any fault. Also I will like to know if the car spare parts are very expensive or affordable, and accessible. I'll also want to know if its expensive to maintain. I will really appreciate your input. Thanks. The car is a 2003 infiniti G35.

I was in your shoes last year, thankfully I got in. What I'll say is be patient, you will all definitely get a mail success or otherwise. During my time, verification test went on for over a month. Close to 3000 people were invited for the verification test ( the test is about 45 mins and about 5 batches or more of 10 people per batch wrote the test each day). The mails are actually sent in batches. So, that you have not received a success mail doesn't mean that you failed. I advice you be patient, pray and hope for the best. Goodluck. |
