Might sound like good point to an average reasoner,... there is no country without "one off - situations" except for Nigeria where incidents and accidents are regular occurrences due to incompetence and inadequacies

So, it’s now clear that they demolished the buildings not because they were built on canals nor areas designated as roads, but because they did not give “Owomida”.

And they couldn’t just seal the buildings but demolished them.

Nsogbu adiro!
You are entitled to your " translation" even though i am a bit disappointed buh above all a igbo man is a igbo man

So when they flush bandit in kaduna naa kwara be the soak away. how xan you claim you are winning when the bandits are very much alive and terrorizing another location

Said it from the get go.
Dangote should settle with the unions.
Yes. The enemy of the entrepreneur anywhere is regulations and red tape. They are like the speedometer, they are like the ABS, they are like the brakes. But they are there for a reason. To ensure you go out and return safely. And not just for whoever drives the car but every road user that the car comes across.

I have said it before. The unions are an open window to the operations of the organisation they supervise. Without them the public will not know what happens in their universities, their hospitals, and their oil industry.

And I will say this to the public the Dangote company appeals to. The moment that window is shut you will no longer have access to information thoughtless of influence and with poor government oversight the sky will be the li.it ad to how that company will shape the industry going forward.

To me this is like taking your car into town without brakes or indicators. If it is a national asset as they say then it needs national superintending of which the unions have an important role to play.
You sounded like you know what you are saying Until we got to the part, does Nigeria Union run with transparency n accountability to it members talk more of Nigerians cheesy
Una go just they quote textbook advantages nd benefit Forgeting We are in Nigeria ... naija factor supersede
In the last 10yrs of APC regime ... how as union helped in the oil sector, Osifo was bragging they are intellectuals .. you sat in a sector We export crude and buy Pms back in dollar because we cant make our refineries work ... and Union were comfortable with the arrangement lipsrsealed
Dangote marked 1yr anniversary few days ago ... Dangote have made more press statement, expressing prices, decisions and direction More than NNPC and pengassan have done in the last 5yrs

I have friends there, even laborers are Indians and earns more than the engineers that have been with dangote for more than 5years by over 1000%, the VP is Indian and just like they usually do, everything in dangote is Indian, there are more Indians in dangote than Nigerians, by more than 50%. His Nigerian staffs are leaving in droves as much as possible because it’s not sustainable, everything good about the refinery is reserved for foreigners, Dangote does not provide PPE for his Nigerian staffs, no matter how risky the job is. Bought new buses that will be used exclusively by Indians only, evicted almost all Nigerian in the staff quarters so the Indians can use those units. Some of his engineers that left, he wrote to the company they moved to so they can bring them back, you don’t want to pay them, you don’t want to leave either. All his companies is like that, have been like that, Indians ran his flour mill to the ground, he sacked his Nigerian staffs as far back as 2014, I worked with some of them back then in another flour mill. But of course, the media is under his thumb, he has influencers too so no one dares to speak. You should see the sack letter he gave his Nigerian staffs, he accused them of sabotage which means they can’t use their experience there or they’re practically bad products in the job market now.

Copied
When you say everything in Dangote is INDIAN, Do you consider What works for Dangote, sentiments are meaningless, In life everybody has what works for them n the moment you know you keep to it

Lafarage cement was the only cement in Nig at a time they produced about 2million tonnes of cement far from demands, we Import cement greatly Until Dangote came onboard within 5yrs that Man changed everything with those indians .... today Nigeria is net exporter of cement cos of dangote, lafarage use to give excuses its not possibly they justify incompetent until Danngote came to show them, then

We have four refineries none is working because of Naija factor, when Dangote refinery started these fuuls in oil sector were even throwin shades its not possible they were pessimistic n couldnt hide it

After seein how Nigerians mess up n grounded four refineries you want Dangote to hand his refinery to a Nigerian ... so they can kill that refinery again
Shoprite under foreign mgt and shoprite under Nig mgt. differnce dey abi e no dey

In Production if you want 99% efficiency Dont count on Nigerians ...indians n nigerians no be mate for management ... we must also think like employer

Tell your small god to respect the Nigerian constitution. He is not bigger than the country.
Alol, how did dangote break the constition, is he the lay off workers, i can employ But i cant sack workers

If pengassan is so convinced Dangote workers lay off, was purely Victimization why are they acting like they dont know Industrial court exists

Strike is the last resort, Infact the court is in best position to Compel Dangote employ those employees back if he found guilty

Pengassan might have hold govt down But pengassan cant hold a private company down...Time wont favor them, Can the president and other innocent business affected stand with pengassan for long. This just justified the reason not to allow one's employees to join their Union.

Now look at the Scenario that's playing out:
Mr A establishes a refinery or business entity, allows his employees to join that Union. Good right?
Now Mr B establishes a refinery or business entity, doesn't want his employees to join that Union, they allegedly did and were allegedly sacked. Bad?

That Union calls for strike because Mr B was alleged to have sacked his employees, making employees of Mr A who are their members to down tools because of Mr B. Absurd?

Now Mr A is suffering for what he knows nothing about despite allowing his own members to join that Union.

This justifies Mr B's motive for not allowing his own employees to join that Union because there's possibility that Mr A or any other investor may have issues with that Union tomorrow and that Union will call for strike like they just did and it will affect him which he doesn't want.
You can imagine, even the Employers that gave there workers freedom are not speared by the Union that scored them good ... whats now the gain

Today if Dangote bows n allow Union, should BUA come n resist Union ... Dangote refinery will suffer shutdown, Even if you join Union your fate depends on make nobody pull Union brest 🤣

Alol, My lil brother worked there n i know some of his colleagues ... does he flog them if they come late or what punishment does he give to them

Lets look at it these way, Since Dangote refinery started .. every stakeholder in that mainstream n downstream have tried to frustrare him .. NNpc to NDMPRA to Dappman ... the union as the last shot

They know Dangote dont want union, .. maybe they lured is workers to push for Union so it a perfect excuse to ground Dangote refinery .. they know dangote position on union he wont back down perfect Trap to sabotage him ... just thinkin aloud
