Don't know why unionization of a private investment is now turning to an issue that might cripple activities within the nation
The cabals want to continue dictating everything that happens in Dangote refinery.
The FG ,should give stern warning and ensure no threat to fuel supply.
You get, it is all about supremacy, dangote is not making it business as usual ... so they are looking for every opportunity to take that man down

Thank god Dangote his not a weakling,... only the gullible will believe this feud is about the interest of the workers,.

When Dangote opened his refinery he was almost begging tankers to come pick fuel at his refinery ... they gave so many silly excuse to boycott that man and even insist Importation must continue

From the start they have being against Dangote .. whatever they bring up to fight dangote now is just an excuse... they never knew Dangote could raise enough money to build that refinery that was their biggest mistake

There is no backing down, Sane Nigerians are behind Dangote,. uselezz union will not ground the 1st indigenous effective refinery

NNpc tried to sabotage dangote by dropping 7% they failed
NDMPRA fired dangote fuel is inferior .. they failed

Marketer petition Dangote is spoiling business .. they failed

Now there last Ally, Union is trying to Return us back to Dark era .. they will surely fail

Where was pengassan when dirty fuel was imported into the country, where was Union when Tinubu removed subsidy, where was Union when our local refinery exhibited a charade resumption n decieved Nigerians ... they are tryin to break dangote so they can continue the chop i chop business

If Fuel goes to #2000 per litre today what can Pengassan or union do to bring down the price, Dangote that is helping to maintain the reduced price you want to paint National enemy .. awon ole jati jati

And when ASUU go on strike for better welfare or salary increase Unilorin benefited abi ? Tell me how do workers request for better welfare and stop incessant intimidation from any quarters if not through unionism. Even state governor's have governor's forum for all 36 governor's,that's a form of Union hope you know.
Can you remind me the better welfare n benefited you are so Sure ... cos recently ASUU issued warning strike there demands/agreement have not being met

However dont get me Wrong i am not saying Union is bad or against there existence, buh whatbi hate to hear is how some you suddenly are over blowing this union like workers cant survive without them

Like i said, there are many multi national companies in Nigeria without union, and there staffs are well paid even than civil servant under Union
Companies that are not under Union sometimes have micro union internally or Personel dept, or sometimes a coalition of Departmental heads can also sit with management to seek review of renumaration

In most companies NG workers are well taken care of it as a result of internal effort of the management not Union per say... Union is good buh you cant force it on an entity, if you want union go to companies that allow it simple

The Dangote PENGASSAN situation is an unfortunate
one. Unfortunately, both parties are right so it’s difficult to take a position. I feel for Dangote and his business. He has invested so much into the refinery to now have to be dealing with a disruptive union that gave him nothing when he was building the refinery.

On the other hand, I can’t in good conscience against the unionization of the refinery workers. Unions, no matter how disruptive are very essential in ensuring the protection of workers interest.

Hopefully, the two parties can find a middle ground in the overall interest of the country.
Lets be sincere and truthful to ourselves Between Dangote and Nupeng who fit scam workers

who can decieve workers to cash out

Dangote has being the largest employer of labour in Nigeria for over a decade .. as he being unfair to his workers any protest from his workers in last 10yrs

So what all this false alarm & warnings about ... Nupeng are very quiet about the part should dangote join Nupeng they will collect 1m due on each truck dangote has .. thats the chase

its always about the money for these evil people But use workers interest as cover, i dont believe this news cos Pengassan dont have the power to shut a private refinery down until we hear from dangote

How is working without union Modern day slaves, you guyz are beginning to blow things out of proportion ... abi no the same Nigeria

Dangote cement is not in Union, For 20yrs Unilorin was not in ASUU ... what was the state of these workers were Workers Under union better than someone under Union ... how ??
There are so many multi national companies in naija not under Union enjoying better welfare packages & salary with suitable working condition

For 20yrs Unilorin was not under ASUU, how is lecturers under better off ... higher salary, ASUU bonus or chicken at xmas ..

Nupeng is only after the 1m fee they are suppose to get on each truck Dangote will register with them .. employees are just a good cover

Are you going to feign dementia, Have you not been following matters ... or is it not glaring every major player in the oil sector have fired shot to sabotage Dangote refinery right from the onset

1. NNPC reneged in there investment %, from 20% to 7% ... is that not a sabotage move

2. Marketers petition to the presidency, Dangote is making diesel cheaper and not making as profitable as they want ... is that not an attack

3. NDPRMA announce Dangote fuel is substandard and full of sulphur without proof .. is that not a sabotage or attack
Dangote on his level seein All this moves, you expect him not to shield is investment from Pengassan and Nupeng that are known allies of NNPC n Marketers
Dangote making acquisition of new trucks and giving discount to direct buyers plus free delivery is a huge sacrifice and commitment to Nation building

What have your uselezz Union contributed, Do you know Nupeng are bound to collect 1m each on dangote trucks if he joins Nupeng .. is the fight really about the employee or the Money they stand to gain grin dey play

My friend can you go and read the Labour law of Nigeria as well as the United Nations Human rights declaration?
If uniilorin lecturers are not in union, that is because they don't want to, not because uni illorin as an institution asked them not to. I don't know how difficult that is for you to understand. Employees have the rights to make that decision not employers

Pengasan has declared strike, and declared dangote's actions illegal and cited UN ILO as I have been shouting it to you since yesterday. Now you will use this case and learn.
Listen to yourself, Lets follow your claim Unilorin lecturers didnt join ASUU solely cos of their decision ... Now that Unilorin Mgt made a U - turn back into ASUU why did the lecturers not stick by their decision since the ball is in their court
Mgt U-turn the staffs also follow .. is that not tew much for a coincidence

You my friend is very Funny, Employee have Right to join any union But that greatly depends on enabling environment solely determine the Mangement

Nobody is saying you can't join Nupeng But you cant work for Me that is Dangote stand ... very simple

if i tell folake4u its either you marry me or you hold on to xtainity cos i am a muslim ... if she chose church that like tellin me dude go to hell ... you cant sue me if you eat your cake n dont have it

The right to associate or dissociate is for employees not for employers. So did thr workers tell you they wanted to dissociate
Have you seen your life awon industry fuel station dispenser
Pemgassan have no business with anything truck. Oil industry worker don't know the difference between nupeng and pengassan
Now continue dispensing the fuel you are dispensing
Lolzzz my very funny friend, Pls back it up in the constitution, which section mandate an employer must join Union .. cheesy

Are you aware Dangote cement is not under Union, And there are even many private companies not under Union .. be my guest nd ask people with knowledge

Unilorin didnt join ASUU for 20yrs did the school die, even the university under ASUU were they better than Unilorin then.

Maybe you dont know the story, Dangote bought new CNG trucks and deciders to employ drivers for his truck, most of this drivers turn out to be Nupeng members, then he creat is Term n condition for employment i dont want Unionism ...

Now to the employee its an open choice, decide to stick with your Union or exit nd find job elsewhere they chose Union thats is a reply itself .. literally that prompted there lay off, dangote just clicked OK

No be these country we dey a governor told all his staffs as i am defecting to APC, if any of you wont knindly resign .. why Pdp not carry them go court

@ bolded. That's when dangote choose to defy the law of the country and international laws and sack workers for joining union

2nd NNPC does not give anybody license for anything, you can't write a long epistle of what you don't know

Dangote is owing nnpc a lot of money somewhere

No PENGASSAN leader is in any filling station or has any business or invested interest with any anywhere in this country

Who suffers more? Dangote, the sacked workers, the thousands of Indians replacing Nigeria, the common man, the uncommon man, together in unity we will all suffer for the injustice meted on those sacked workers

NNPC is not Pengassan and pengassan is not nnpc. Why not also call out total, Chevron, nlng, seplat, shell and the rest because their staffs are also pengassan members.

If NNPC refuses to sell crude to dangote, let him buy from total or mobil, or seplat or Chevron they are all crude producers

Go and read your books for next year utme abeg. For your mind now you have written an essay

Injury to those sacked workers is injury to everyone. When we learn to stand up for each other, oppression will end
Dangote didnt defy any law to begin with, The Law stipulate everyone has right to associate or " Dissassociate" .. emphasis on " Dissassociate" because people like you only put out " association"

However Dangote as an entity acted within his right as an employer to Dissassociate, and he made his management rule ... i dont want unionism which is permitted by the law

An Employee also has rights which is subservient to Management Rules, however what an Employee have thats supreme is choice to stay n abide by Rules or Exit go to where favor you
But in All of these Pengassan cant force Dangote to bend for your Right, when you have choice to Exit

As for Pengassan they are just hiding behind a finger to carry out there interior motive to sabotage Dangote , and they will fail ..... Dangote has his trucks n direct supplies Pengassan contibute nothing so there strike attempt wont work

On every truck registered to pengassan they collect 100k or is it 1m ... that is what is paining them not the workers ... its about the money they will lose on dangote trucks cheesy awon were

Companies cannot be forced to join a union or have their employees join one; this decision rests with the employers and workers themselves. Dangote will simply recruit people who agree/sign not to join unions. Companies do this all around the world. You cannot hold the country to ransom because of unionism and selling imported goods.
BTW, Dangote has lost billions before, it didn't show. How many Nigerians can afford to lose 10,000 naira without pain? How many can afford a hike in fuel price and the scarcities that will likely follow in a faceoff? ILO or UN cannot force people to join a union, please be enlightened.
Don't mind them, Ecowas is it every country that joined, are there no countries that refuse to join the UN

Everybody gets right but an employee's right is subservient to Management's terms and conditions

And you see Nigerians supporting this with comments like; Sack them, sack everyone, run the marketers out of business, you are the employer and can do and undo, etc. C'mon at least if you guys won't be affected many livelihoods will be. The oil and gas industry is the biggest employer of labour in this country. Only filling stations have employed thousands of youths.

NUPENG and PENGASSAN have their own faults but they shouldn't be victimized by Nigerians because they want to protect the welfare of employees.

The Dangote refinery should do the right thing by adhering to rules and regulations guiding the oil industry!
What are you saying .... People had " choice" ... dangote gave his condition as an employee ... as an employee you either take it or leave it

Stop gaslighting us with livelihood, an employee who cherish is job wont disobey Mgt terms nd condition.

He who pays the pyper should dictate the tune, any reasonable employer would sack an employee whose loyalty belong elsewhere .. its that simple
