Rather than complaining about everything in Lagos, why not leave the Stste/City if living is hellish, in which part of the country does yam come cheap in April/May when farmers already forward to new harvest season? |
This generation has it easier. Just last week, I was listing what I went through growing up under my parents in the 80s and 90s, partly in Ikare Akoko, Ondo State; Zaria, Kaduna State; and the FCT, Abuja, to my 13-year-old son. He looked at me like I was narrating an horror movie. He couldn’t believe me. But I thank God for life. |
Britishcoins:Atiku is the Presidential candidate Seyi Makinde is the Vice Presidential candidate Obi is their campaign DG |
fergie001:It is not about me, but about Peter Obi, who continues to ruin the chances of an Igbo man becoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any of Soludo or Umahi could come into the mix in the near future, and the South West would support them. We cannot be blackmailed into supporting a dull person simply because of mob pressure. |
givedemwotowoto:Let me leave you to whatever you choose to believe. However, it is unfortunate that at your age ( I assume you are over 30, since I don’t engage children online) you are unable to read between the lines in Nigerian politics. Ask yourself: in whose interest was the Ibadan Summit organised? Why was it held in Ibadan and not in Owerri, Asaba, or anywhere in the South-East? Did you hear that Atiku and Seyi Makinde reportedly visited Babangida a few weeks ago? If at this point, just weeks to the primaries, you still do not realise that Atiku is the ADC’s likely presidential candidate, then continuing this conversation is a waste of time. 2023 was the Igbos’ best chance to produce Nigeria’s president, but unfortunately it did not happen. It is unlikely to happen in 2027 or even 2031, unless if miracle happens. |
fergie001:This is where your confusion comes from. Who told you Obi has the capacity? Obi, who can barely express himself coherently without resorting to lies and innuendos? I want an Igbo presidency, not an Obi presidency. Unfortunately, Obi and his cronies, the Obidients, have almost scuttled that chance. Why did Obi join ADC instead of staying in his LP and serving as a rallying point? He ran to Atiku’s SPV. That singular move is almost depriving a chance for presidential candidate in the 2027 election. |
givedemwotowoto:You should be more bothered about the Ibadan Summit, that if Tinubu is defeated in 2027, nothing for you guys, because according to the Ibadan Summit, Atiku is ADC presidential candidate, and Seyi Makinde is his Vice. I heard they make Obi their campaign DG and eventually give him Finance Ministry or SGF, if they win. Is that want you be hating Tinubu for? |
I'm not a politician, but I think the Ibadan Summit that's suddenly putting up Atiku/Makinde ticket is a not fair move. Politicians should be fair to Igbo at least for once. Na only North and South West dey Nigeria? If Atiku and Seyi Makinde defeat in 2027, and unfortunately, two years into their tenure, something happens to Atiku, another Yoruba man will become the President, even without anything happening to Atiku, a Makinde vice presidency will mean 4 Yoruba men have occupy Aso Rock in the 30 years, meanwhile there're more than 200 other ethnic groups in the South. Abeg, Igbos should resist this injustice, but they shouldn't make it about Peter Obi, that man is confused abd lacks wisdom, that's he is being treated with so much disrespect in that coalition. His obidients group has also not help his cause, those ones think the coalition that was formed by Atiku, should be handed over to Obi, because he has 2 heads. As for me, I want an Igboman to be President for once, not necessarily Obi, but in a good case scenario Tinubu should continue. |
muyico:Ghanaians are not known for violence or illicit drug dealing, unlike some Nigerians in South Africa, it's either they're doing cultism, drug or wanting to be igwe in diaspora |
Igbos cannot use gaslighting and blackmail to become the president of Nigeria. It won't work. |
Macphenson:All these rhetorics and blackmail don’t move Comrade Omoyele, he’s above your lies. He does what he believes is right, without regard for your feelings or emotions. |
APC knew that Bala Mohammed had issues with Atiku and that the two might struggle to work together. Hence they abandoned the discussions about his possible defection, knowing that he would eventually have no choice but to accept whatever terms they offered to join them. Now he is partyless and will only work with Obi if Atiku is completely not in the picture. |
It is called a political party and not a religion house. So disagreement is inevitable. |
Obilikom:The bot that use to ban me every 30 minutes won't see this now. |
I laughed at the kind of news that some media houses publish, especially about politicians. They said GEJ will contest for presidency under Dickon's NDC. The same former President Jonathan that is probably one of the closest southern politician to President Tinubu. I can name at keast 5 prominent appointees of the country who got their appointments through President Goodluck Jonathan |
I thought the North are cooking for President Tinubu in 2027, so why is he not part of the chef? |
More to follow, if you like take politics and politicians too seriously, na your eyes go pee, not mine. |
Why must you people always pebble falsehood in the name of opposition? The people who carried coffin to mock the ousted Minister were Contractors whose payments have been pending since 2024. It is not even a recent video, but because you people always have 1 agenda or the other, you must resort to things that are not true. |
MaziObinnaokija:I don complete my post, you can go back and read the complete version. |
Bmaster:In the book of the obidients, when a Yoruba person supports Obi, such person is a patriot, but when an Igboman supports President Tinubu, such person is an efulefu, a hustler, a businessman that wants to swindle the president or his son. While Tunde Ednut who failed in everything he tried, until the coming of "like, share, comment and repost" is a patriotic and incorruptible, but Pete Edochie, with years as a Nollywood actor and national acceptance is a failed man, all because he supports Asiwaju, and not Obi. Las las, una go dey alright. |
These are the kinds of news that should be coming from Somalia, Eritrea, Congo and the Philippines, not Nigeria. I think the only solution to this menace is for Nigeria to be splited. I'm tired and fed up with these people. |
In one of the threads where some South east people claimed that Kwankwaso support groups collapsed their structures into Obi's groups and I asked if Kwankwaso or his Kwankwasiyya group was aware of the new group that they now belong to. Nobody answered, now my question is justified. |
I fear for these people's emotional stabilities. Imagine the level of their audacity and politics. If by tomorrow Atiku or Amaechi supporters also |
SadiqBabaSani:I hope the core supporters of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the Kwankwasiyya are aware of this merger? Make una no later insult anybody oo 😏 😉 😌 |
Hmmmm, what a group of bunch of jokers. If Amupitan leaves today, there a thousand people who Asiwaju can pick and they will do the job very well. But Tinubu will never bow to their blackmailing and pressure. Nigeria belong to all of us, so nothing a group of displaced people or desperate politicians can do to make a President quail. American goes nowhere! |
esnbrutality:Your pain, your tears. Asiwaju till 2031 and thereafter power will go to the North. |
nairavsdollars:We shall see! Asiwaju will "win" and nothing will happen that has never happened. This is not 2015. Whoever do anyhow will see anyhow. |
