By 2031, he would become ineligible to seek re-election, as that would amount to a third term.

If you have any idea how people struggle to get information from high places like the Presidency, the military, or diplomats, you won’t completely rubbish what Sahara Reporters is doing. News is scarce.

I have read the news in which the Governor was allegedly asked to resign and pave the way for his Deputy to take over. While I do not believe the story is entirely false, there may be some elements of truth in it. It is also possible that it was deliberately leaked to Sahara Reporters for early publication without full details, either by the Governor’s team or by someone within the supposed inner circle of the planners, not in support of the plan, but because they could not openly oppose it for fear of the key actors, in order to nip it in the bud.

This rebuttal may also be part of the grand plan to gauge public opinion. I am sure the President cannot afford to make thoughtless mistakes that may affect his re-election. At this point, anyone can act as a spoiler, because if President Tinubu loses his re-election, then he loses everything, including his hold on Lagos State and the APC.

15. Obasanjo had to come to Onitsha and spent 1-week because of peaceful environment.
16. He invited anti-graft to come and audit his administration, before handing over.
17. He refused to accept a piece of land, and gratuity and pension.
18. He never went close to State Govt House after handing over.
19. He never struggle to frustrate his successors policies.
20. Till today, he kept gifting multi-millions to Schools, Healthcare development, and entrepreneurship developments.

If your definition of leadership is right you won't be against Peter Obi.

Let me leave you to whatever you choose to believe. However, it is unfortunate that at your age ( I assume you are over 30, since I don’t engage children online) you are unable to read between the lines in Nigerian politics. Ask yourself: in whose interest was the Ibadan Summit organised? Why was it held in Ibadan and not in Owerri, Asaba, or anywhere in the South-East? Did you hear that Atiku and Seyi Makinde reportedly visited Babangida a few weeks ago?
If at this point, just weeks to the primaries, you still do not realise that Atiku is the ADC’s likely presidential candidate, then continuing this conversation is a waste of time. 2023 was the Igbos’ best chance to produce Nigeria’s president, but unfortunately it did not happen. It is unlikely to happen in 2027 or even 2031, unless if miracle happens.

This is where your confusion comes from. Who told you Obi has the capacity? Obi, who can barely express himself coherently without resorting to lies and innuendos? Why did Obi join ADC instead of staying in his LP and serving as a rallying point? He ran to Atiku’s SPV. Politicians should be fair to Igbo at least for once. Na only North and South West dey Nigeria? If Atiku and Seyi Makinde defeat in 2027, and unfortunately, two years into their tenure, something happens to Atiku, another Yoruba man will become the President, even without anything happening to Atiku, a Makinde vice presidency will mean 4 Yoruba men have occupy Aso Rock in the 30 years, meanwhile there're more than 200 other ethnic groups in the South. Abeg, Igbos should resist this injustice, but they shouldn't make it about Peter Obi, that man is confused abd lacks wisdom, that's he is being treated with so much disrespect in that coalition. His obidients group has also not help his cause, those ones think the coalition that was formed by Atiku, should be handed over to Obi, because he has 2 heads.

APC knew that Bala Mohammed had issues with Atiku and that the two might struggle to work together. Hence they abandoned the discussions about his possible defection, knowing that he would eventually have no choice but to accept whatever terms they offered to join them. Now he is partyless and will only work with Obi if Atiku is completely not in the picture.
