I love my GSD, I feed it very well. The dog is friendly during the day, especially when I’m around it. But last week, the dog did something that is almost breaking our relationship. If you have any idea how people struggle to get information from high places like the Presidency, the military, or diplomats, you won’t completely rubbish what Sahara Reporters is doing. News is scarce.

I have read the news in which the Governor was allegedly asked to resign and pave the way for his Deputy to take over. While I do not believe the story is entirely false, there may be some elements of truth in it. It is also possible that it was deliberately leaked to Sahara Reporters for early publication without full details, either by the Governor’s team or by someone within the supposed inner circle of the planners, not in support of the plan, but because they could not openly oppose it for fear of the key actors, in order to nip it in the bud.

This rebuttal may also be part of the grand plan to gauge public opinion. I am sure the President cannot afford to make thoughtless mistakes that may affect his re-election. At this point, anyone can act as a spoiler, because if President Tinubu loses his re-election, then he loses everything, including his hold on Lagos State and the APC.
