The banner issue was insignificant, but mischievous individuals are amplifying it as if it were the President himself who organised the event and deliberately removed his Vice President’s picture and name. There are some news items on Nairaland that one should resist the urge to comment on, no matter how compelling or appealing they may be. One such news item is this. How can anyone say Atiku is a democrat simply because his biological child publicly moved to a rival political party and even promised to work for the success of his father’s opponent?
It shows that Atiku has failed in his duty as a father, because there is no way a father who shares a proper father–son relationship would allow his son to publicly denounce his aspirations. This is Nigeria, not the USA or Greece, where democracy originated.
