PoliticsRe: Maryam Sanda & Tinubu’s Crisis Of Clemency By Farooq A. Kperogi by ChiefOloye(m): 8:35am On Oct 18, 2025
I won't support Asiwaju on the pardon. However, the flaws in the clemency show that the President is human, after all.

So he can make fuel (which is literally the reason for hunger) cheaper or affordable in his state alone. He can reduce the price of rice and other food stuff in his state alone?

How una de take see things self?
Where in my comment did I say he should make cheaper?
I don't do this, but since you quoted me, let me react appropriately.
Do you understand the power a State has under the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria? Under the the Concurrent list, a State Governor can generate IGR, out the allocation from the Federal Government, and he's expected not embezzle or misappropriate all the money in the State. As the Governor of the State, he's expected to deliver on job creation. I hope you that to say that an item is cheap or expensive, is relative? What determines whether something is expensive or cheap your earnings. If Seyi Makinde makes live better in Oyo and he pays minimum wage of 500k, I'm sure the price of fuel ⛽️ in Oyo won't be problem.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Are Killing More Muslims Than Christians - US Envoy by ChiefOloye(m):
Fulani/Hausa people should be fair to themselves and send their children/wards to schools at tender ages. Their Governors should also make education relatively free. I know they can't afford free and quality education, at least they can make it fair and free up to secondary schools.
If they want to tackle insecurities in their region, the almajiri system must either be abolished or reformed, in line with modern realities, by ensuring means of incorporating or inserting western education into it.

wheather you like it or not the major control of livelihood in nigeria is fuel, electricity, security, road and healthcare. He doesnot control fuel, security and electricity which plays a major role in common man's life. There is nothing you do or feed on that the price of fuel doesnt play a role in it.
is that so?
Please what happens to him msking lives so liveable in Oyo State in the ways of massive human capital investment and job creation, whereby everyone in the State has a veritable means of livelihood, so that they will be able to afford whatever they need, without stress?
PoliticsRe: Most Important Defection Yet To Take Place – Makinde by ChiefOloye(m):
Some people will come here and hail Seyi Makinde, for saying the truth to Tinubu. They won't mind that he's a Governor and it's akso his responsibility to make hunger and poverty defect from Oyo State.

AMINDA:
What is this "handling" you speak of? He lost an election and conceded. That makes him a democrat. The Agbadorians above me are jittery about the possibility of Jonathan entering the race. They have sent Tompolo to go and beg. Jonathan will clinch the reformed PDP ticket come 2027. He's not a pushover as APC will like to pretend.
He can contest, he will only finish 2nd, ahead of your Fulani lord, Atiku, the dubai landlord.
PoliticsRe: FG Sues Senator Nwebonyi Over Alleged Vile Remarks Against Senator Natasha by ChiefOloye(m): 4:21pm On Oct 17, 2025
AMINDA:
Medicine after death. They are now trying to pacify Natasha and get her to decamp to their side. Is Yahaya Bello not enough? They can now see that she's a collusus unlike the likes of Fubara. It has to be an Igboman that takes the fall. Why not start by telling Akpabio to step down? Forget the defections, APC will implode close to the elections.
Oga calm down, Northern Nigeria people are not known for ranting and wailing. Leave crying 😢 for towncriers, if not you will have very plenty things to be angry about over Tinubu and his Gov't.

FarahAideed:
Go through my posts before 2019 elections I always predicted this will happen if Buhari is allowed to get second term ...and again I warn if Tinubu gets 2nd term , Nigerians economy will never again recover till the eventual break up into southern and Northern Nigeria which i predict will happen in 20 years
It is not about Buhari or Tinubu. It is about the kind of Islam that the Northern Nigeria Muslims practice.
They give birth to children they can't cater for, leave them to roam the streets in their infancies, in the name of Alimajiri, no form of formal or informal education, no skills and they grow into adulthood, so what do you expect from an adult without any means of livelihood?
Dey play. My only prediction, regardless who is the President, in 25 to 30 years, the entire North will be completely taken over by state actors. (Call them bokoharam, bandit, lukawaru or something, na you sabi) by that time, there won't be anyone to kipnap or terrorise, because all of them must have become 😉 😀 shekaus.

What kind of human are you? So it was the criticism of Obi, that the President heeled? And that of Safiya's husband family, Atiku, civil society organisations, even El Rufai, didn't get to the government, except that of Obi?
The next episode is will be to equate Obi to God. However, in all if these, Gbajue won't smell Aso Rock.

PoliticsRe: Govs, Politicians Defect But No Real People In The Street Support APC by ChiefOloye(m): 6:28pm On Oct 15, 2025
Linzo:
As the 2027 general elections draw near, President Bola Tinubu seems determined to leave no stone unturned in his mission to secure reelection — and perhaps, as many now believe, to turn Nigeria into a one-party state and crown himself a lifetime president as confirmed by Mallam El-Rufai’s explosive revelations.

Through strategic maneuvers, the President has effectively crushed and weakened other political parties, most notably the once-powerful PDP — a feat largely credited to the influence of Mr. Wike.

Today, the only real opposition voice left in Nigeria is Mr. Peter Obi, and the last flicker of hope for ordinary Nigerians seems to rest with the ADC.

But here’s the good news: across the nation, the people have seen through the illusion. From the North to the South, you’ll hardly find a real person supporting the APC. The few who defend it online are mostly paid keyboard warriors — because in real life, their votes belong elsewhere. And as for Delta State? Let’s be honest — APC has no place here at all.

I remain,
Mr. Linzo
I hope you're happy now?
PoliticsRe: PDP Suspends Two State Chairmen For ‘working With APC To Derail Convention’ by ChiefOloye(m):
I love the politics of Asiwaju.
PDP should brace up, in the months leading up to 2027, they will suspend more than half of their members, some of who will openly work for the President.
PoliticsRe: Political Realignment Is Not Betrayal - Sullivan Chime by ChiefOloye(m): 10:59am On Oct 15, 2025
AMINDA:
I am happy as all you APC supporters are no longer pretending that Tinubu will be able to win if the elections are free and fair. You are counting on "strongmen" to rig the election in Tinubu’s favour like Wike did in Rivers, even if that is against the will of the electorates but you will be disappointed. If the leaders are who determine how electorates vote, Tinubu would have won the presidential elections in Imo, Ebonyi, Cross River, Lagos, etc and all the states with incumbent APC governors. Rather, virtually all the governors managed to win their own gubernatorial elections further proving that the electorates are politically aware and intentional about not wanting Tinubu, specifically.
Their intentions will be to vote Atiku, right?

CyracksMrBlogger:
most of us understood it, why can't you?
He wasted words, he should have just explained that Nigeria, Cameroun, Congo and Gabon will pay the playoffs and whoever wins will face winners from other Federation winners and at the end the eventual winner will qualify for the World Cup. I'm not interested in any explanation of coefficients of Eritrea
PoliticsRe: Political Realignment Is Not Betrayal - Sullivan Chime by ChiefOloye(m): 10:20am On Oct 15, 2025
AMINDA:
Okay. Noted. Just tell Tinubu to do all he can to win the entire South in a landslide. With what we have seen so far, only the politicians are defecting while the electorates are feeling betrayed. Tinubu will find it harder to rig in the South if that continues. Okphebolo having to force his kitchen cabinet and commissioners to wear the cap with the slave chain insignia is not good optics and tells an alternate story. Winning 4 SW states in the whole South like he did in 2023 will not be enough to see him through in 2027. He should also be wary of the "Greek Gift".
In Nigerian politics and elections, politicians are more important than the electorates/voters. It is who the politicians want to vote that will vote, I'm not a baby, the only region I've not witnessed voting/elections in Nigeria are the South East and North East, (I'm sure they can't be totally different from the places I witnessed) elections in Nigeria are not won by transparent votes, people buy votes, suppress vote, intimidate voters, all in bids to to "win". The President has the forces and the resources to deploy,in order to achieve this.
PoliticsRe: Political Realignment Is Not Betrayal - Sullivan Chime by ChiefOloye(m): 10:01am On Oct 15, 2025
AMINDA:
Not just the North, even the South. He didn't win the South in 2023 and he wouldn't win it in 2027. The North made him President. If the defections were that consequential, there would be jubilation across the South. Rather, all we see is resignation and despair with no momentum but joy is coming.
The President's game plan is not complex, he knows the North being who they're, don't have the patient or comraderie to wait for 8 years without power, (thank God the South are understanding that now.) So they may not vote him in 2027, the way they did in 2023. (Mind you, they voted him in 2023, not because they love him, but because they thought he would die, so that Shettima will succeed him and perhaps the Muslim Muslim ticket too.) Hence, he's courting as many Southern strong politicians he can, so they can help gather figures in 2027, to counter whatever figures the North will concort. Meanwhile, please know that no State will return 10 million votes like it happened in 2015, also the ongoing voter's registration is also another way he's telling the North that ogoro will cancel ogoro. If 20 votes are registered in Kano, 20 votes will be registered in Osun too, so it will be rigging for rigging, State forces and the decamping Governors will support his rigging. Whoever wants to be insane can only express the insanity in their regions.
PoliticsRe: No Entry To Exco Meeting Without Wearing Tinubu’s ‘Asiwaju Cap’ — Edo Governor by ChiefOloye(m): 7:23am On Oct 15, 2025
Brendaniel:
So this is how Tinubu wants to win 2027 election, by forcing people against their wish?

When sycophants wear the crown they want everyone to become sycophants
How do I explain how he will win to you now? Let me try, if you will understand. Elections in Nigeria are popularity contest, if you're popular, your chances of "winning" is higher. So wearing his signature cap makes him popular, this infers that he has better chances of "winning".

AMINDA said the North will teach Tinubu a lesson he will never forget, in 2027. So we are waiting for the lesson.
SportsRe: The Super Eagles Road To 2026 World Cup by ChiefOloye(m):
The person who explained this isn't good at his/her job. I don't understand what he/she puts up here. Perhaps CAF/FIFA unnecessarily made the whole playoff thing cumbersome, because if it were to be UEFA organised playoff, you will understand who plays who, and the timing, not these kind of difficult permutations.

I love the politics of Asiwaju, with these defections, he wants to ensure that at least 90% of the votes cast in the South and among Northern Christians in 2027 come to him, while he plays the politics he knows how to play best, and get 30% to 40% of the 3 core Northern regions' votes. I won't be surprised, if Asiwaju woos Obi and makes him stay calm in 2027. He's jagaban gor plenty reasons.

Anyway, God will keep Blessing the IGBOs, while those that prosecute them will keep having lamentations and crying in their enclaves.

Let oluremi Tinubu help her...

Awon sophisticated
Don't cry for her for selling her phone, she will get another one anytime fortunes smile on her, again. You rather cry for your people who sold human beings to feed or the carnivores in your region. They deserve your tears more.
