Time is a gentleman. If it were truly about "Southern presidency", why has someone destroyed the LP while using Wike to also destroy the PDP that has already zoned it's ticket to the South? The coalition only became a necessity as a result of this destruction of opposition parties. Tinubu presidency is not the equivalent of a Southern presidency. He only won 4 Yoruba states in 2023. He was never voted by the South. Not much has changed. He remains unpopular in the South and is very desperate to be the only Southerner on the ballot, as if that will save him. I support Obi to contest independently.

Don't support Obi to contest independently, rather support him to contest under ADC. Support him defeat the unpopular Tinubu. Fulani should learn to be fair and play by the rules of engagement, at least for the sake of peace and national cohesion. They don't own Nigeria and as such shouldn'twant to determinewho get what on the Nigerian dining table. In 2019, no big politician from the South under any major political party contested against Buhari, because they knew it was still the turn of the North, so can't the North exchange the same gesture to the South in 2027, why using your population to threaten the rest of us?

For the umpteenth time, Obi has said severally that he's with the coalition. He supported ADC in the Anambra gubernatorial. However, if he isn't, he's also free to try his business elsewhere. He will only be making the prospect of Tinubu coming third a reality because he may edge out Tinubu in the South while Tinubu's Northern base that made him President is all but gone.

The first option in 2027 is a Southern presidency, while the 2nd which is as potent as the 1st is Tinubu completing 8 years in office.
This is not 2015, there is no pathway for a Northerner to take over from Tinubu in 2027, IT WON'T HAPPEN!

The coalition is not shaky. There will be no zoning or free ticket in the ADC. Whoever wants a ticket will have to contest in the party primaries or take their business elsewhere. Contrary to what most people think, Obi can't win contesting separately but he will still be a huge disadvantage to Tinubu because he will balkanize the Southern votes that Tinubu is counting upon. Tinubu didn't win the South in 2023 and nothing much has changed amongst the electorates, forget the coerced defections. Tinubu's only pathway to re-election still remains the North and that is fast fading away.

Why are you so obsessed with Tinubu? The Headline is about Peter Obi expressing frustration over how certain elements have hijacked his new party. Please focus on him and leave Tinubu for once. The seat of the President doesn't belong to only Fulani, let Tinubu enjoy his terms.

Well, I won't say it's a misplaced priority, because without a political party, there won't be a Nigerian President. In view of this, these meetings are necessary, because the President needs to ensure the cohesiveness of his political party and the meetings, especiallythe the meetingof the BEC members.

The North are conspiring evil. The level of insecurities and their patterns of attacks show signs of high powered coordination. Imagine bandits and terrorists attending wedding ceremony in some parts of the North, they move in convoy, no fear of being attacked or arrested. Why did all of these not happen under Buhari?
At this point, I don't mind the military intervention of America, if Nigeria will scatter, let scatter, so that the Fulani militias can rule the North anyhow they want to.

Osun state was the only state in the Federation where the supreme court's judgement on local government autonomy was implemented. In other states, the government is trading off implementing the ruling in exchange for getting the support of the state governors. Yet, they are always quick to turn back around and say, "hold your governors accountable". This is where we find ourselves today in Nigeria.

It is now the job of the President to enforce Supreme Court judgements. What a time we are.

Tinubu passed up on competent Northerners and proceeded to hire people like Matawalle whom the people of Zamfara rejected at the polls due to his performance, as minister. Yet he expects results. His selection of individuals to handle security showed from the get-go that it was not his priority. Not forgetting his decision to appoint a policeman with political ambitions as security adviser despite the advise of many against doing so. What do we now have? Peace deals and negotiations amid rising insecurity, coup scare, PR gig-gone-wrong (Mike Arnold), international scrutiny and a government determined to tell lies to cover up for all these.

There are better people from Zamfara State who can do the job, but what was their contribution to the success of Tinubu at the pool? Remember, President Tinubu is a politician, so he has to reward the people who supported him. However, when it gets to your turn, you can go to Havard and bring technocrat and experts. Security in Nigeria is local, it will reduce, whenever the people who are directly affected say it's enough.

This list is not correct/complete. Where is Major-General Mamman Kontagora. He was the FCT Minister in 1999, when I wrote my SSCE in GSS, Jiwa. He visited the school during the period. So I can't forget his name. The most popular FCT Ministers on my list are: Jeremiah Oseni, Major-General Mamman Kontagora, Nasir El Rufai and Nyonsome Wike, in no particular order.
