Gandollar: Who are the orientals?
A chief without a Chiefdom would always expose his illiteracy on social media.
Anyone that disagrees with your drug baron is automatically Igbo.
I have never seen a myopic people like you lot I won't blame or insult you. If only you went to school, you would have been taught allusion in English language. Oriental in this context means "Easterner". If you expect me to mention "Igbos" in my post, well, it's just unfortunate, because I won't. |

Svoboda: No doubt. He has friends and allies in the north that can fall in line for him. But they couldn't help him cross the line. He needed a divided opposition to do it for him. That tells you that friends and allies have a limitation. Will just his friends and allies be enough for him come 2027? Time will tell. No doubt, he isn't GEJ, but he is potentially running against a northerner in Atiku. He is no small fry by all means. He also has friends and allies in the north. The question is, would you expect that the north, no matter how divided it is, go against its very own in Atiku while the southwest coalesce behind their very own in tinubu? What do you think would attract an average northerner to snub his brother on the ballot and vote a southwesterner when he can keenly observe the feel good factor among the presidents kinsmen. Where do I even start from? You're talking as if Atiku wasn't in the ballots against the same Tinubu, in 2023, my brother leave story, Asiwaju wasn't the President, no Minister, no SAs, and other appointees from the North to do his bidding in 2023, yet, he scored 3million plus votes accross the 3 northern geopolitical zones. He 2027, he will be an incumbent player and you are rating him this low, my brother bookmark this comment, President Tinubu will better his in 2027 results across the North than he did in 2023. You should not allow your hatred and wishful thinking to be cloud your sense of reason and good judgement. This is Nigeria, where the rigger with the highest spread around the country win elections |

Svoboda: Didn't Jonathan try the same route in 2015, did it work for him in the north? They collected his money and still collectively humiliated him in the north. In 2023, Buhari was aloof until he gave that video message in Hausa from Saudi, asking his supporters to vote tinubu. That was a major factor to tinubus election despite tinubus largesse. The north isn't as subservient to money as those from the south. They move by consensus when they consider a big threat. The last Friday prayers before the election in 2027 will determine a lot. This is parts of the illusions, comparing President Tinubu to President Jonathan. To start with, this is 2015 or 2027, not 2015. There's no Buhari, a man many, including me believed was a Robin Hood of sort, another factor is, Tinubu isn't an accidental president like Jonathan. Jonathan, like Peter Obi, didn't have political friends or allies in the North, but Tinubu has 1000s of his business and political friends that will still line behind him in the North. |

Svoboda: You see northerners are just too smart to fall for this kind of smokescreen. You may accuse them of anything, but in politics, they're the number one.
I believe the northern political class deliberately allow elrufai to be unusually vocal so as to unsettle the presidency and invoke more northern anger against tinubus people by how they react to elrufai. The north are masters in the patience game. Some of you still hold dearly and ignorantly to what your grandparents told you about Northern Nigeria, hence the reason you think the North has something like a WhatsApp group, where they meet to determine who to vote and who not to vote during an election. My friend, the dynamics have changed, people are wiser, even in the North, people want money, power and influence. If the North is what you think and believe they are, politically, there will be only one political party in the entire north, but the reality is different. If Tinubu can give good money to just 1000 people from each of the 21 Northern States, he will successfully divide their ranks, and they will do his bidding, afterall, nobody doesn't want money. Or you think it was only luck that made Tinubu President abi you smart pass him? |

Make we all reason like Yoruba people to make you happy
Elrufai is the best governor of kaduna state alive .
This is what the 51 tribes of southern kaduna will tel you anytime. Any day .. any second
Let’s see that people fro kaduna that supports Tinubu
Let that moniker come front
This Yoruba people are so funny walahi You lied that you're from Southern Kaduna, but your comments said you're Igbo . For your information, President Tinubu is not Pitobi or Funke Akindele that thought online followership (where anonymous like you can operate 1000 accounts on just 1 platform, like X, Facebook, or Nairaland) Asiwaju believes in real issues, he won't dwell on religion or tribal. When the time comes, you will see millions of Northern Nigerians campaign for his 2nd term. So, we won't drag online Presidency with Pitobi.. |

Odin13: Tinubu has been dealing to weak his support base.. using the governor and playing the natural chameleonic beyirebe..
But Mallam and Arewa knows Yoruba people too well.. infact thee gave Yoruba that name .. and he thinks going to press with a birthday wish will change what has been done by Yoruba against the North and it’s elderly statement just like that..
Hahahahahaha … this. Yoruba god is funny..
Who bankrolls Reno and all paid agents of Tinubu on social media and nairaland ? Or he thinks he doesn’t see all the insults ?
When the Lagos Igbo man made a statement to APC of dangers in ignoring Mallam.. didn’t the Yoruba people insulted El-Rufai the more and even igbokwe got served ..
Now they will come online to gbo gbo on how both El-Rufai and Tinubu where best of friends and tried to change narratives 🤣 of what they’ve singing all along ..
El-Rufai will be betraying Arewa if he makes any thing called peace with beyirebe and will forever lose relevance in Northern Nigeria
You need to be a northerner to understand the ways of the north .. in everything Do you know why I read your comments on nairaland, especially in Politics section? It is because it reveals the level of envy and hatred the orientals have for the ọmọlúwàbís and those of us who are proponents of the Yoruba Ronus philosophy. Your daily wish is to have been created a Yoruba man, you envy our political success, our rich cultural heritage, our religious tolerance and more importantly, our civilisations. I will admonish not to commit drink otapiapia, over Yoruba matters. If you choose to stay alive, you may be fine, eventually. |

I loved Malam Nasir El Rufai, I wanted him to be part of Asiwaju's Government, however, I'm not in either of the men's shoe. They are both wise adults, so they know what's good for each of them and what they want. I think El Rufai should learn from Tinubu. In 2016, after helping Buhari to become President, Asiwaju was thrashed by Buhari and his men, his long time allies got appointments from Buhari and turned against him, rather than seat back and sob or fight , Tinubu went back to his drawing board, he never criticised Buhari openly, even when he was provoked to do, he maintained his steeze and composure. Today , all that are history, the same maligned Tinubu is the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, while that turned against him after he helped to the circles of PMB, like Aregbe, Lai Mohammed, Mamora Osibanjo, Ojodu etc, have all gone into political oblivious, while President Tinubu is having the last and best laugh. I want El Rufai to toll this difficult, but dignifying path, if he can. |
