Romance › A 40yr Old Married Man With 2 Children Inlove With His Sister-in -law by chigomiced(op): 11:04am On Apr 23, 2015 |
I’M a 40-year-old married man with two children. I have been in love with my sister-in -law since I got married to her sister. We loved each other. We had no sex before she got married but, after her marriage, we had sex. Her house is only 20 kilometers from mine, so I used to meet her every month. After 12 years of wedlock, she still has no child …she goes into hotels to have sex with me. Now that she is a working-class woman, she calls me only once or twice a month. I asked her if she wants a break-up and she said no, but one day I decided to face her. I told her that I couldn’t live without her. She said our meeting was no longer guaranteed, but she would try to call me daily, though she was not interested in me again. So I told her not to call me again. She still called me several times, but I did not reply and she stopped calling me. I became puzzled and called her but she replied that now she neither wants to talk to me nor meet me again in her life.
Two years have passed and she only sends me messages on my birthday, but doesn’t call or pick my calls. I am ruined because I cannot live without her. What do I do?
I want her back and I’ve told her many times that I was sorry for my behavior, but no response from her. She comes to my house with her husband and only talks formally with me. She does not even touch me. Is this the end of our relationship? PS: No be me oooOOooooOooo |

Romance › What Women Want by chigomiced(op): 10:48am On Apr 23, 2015 |
“AND I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
“Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and THY DESIRE SHALL BE TO THY HUSBAND, and HE SHALL RULE OVER THEE…” (Genesis 3: 15-16).
It hurts me when I realize that much of the above verse hasn’t changed for the woman. She has a mortal enemy, and her only protection is her husband. He is her head, her ruler and her protector.
The only way a woman can bear all that is against her is if she can feel the love of her husband. The woman is God’s last creation. She will always act as last-born and that is the only way she can benefit from all that God created.
The devil hates the idea of a woman in the life of a man and in the world. With a woman in the life of a man, he was destined to dominate…not alone as a man. “Let them have dominion” (Gen 1: 26).
It is them, not just him. A man’s victory and prosperity is guaranteed when in agreement with his wife, they hold on to God’s promise. A man’s dominion can’t be fully realized without the wife.
The devil knows this and therefore uses physical ailments, weakness, cultural and traditional mind limits on women, pain and risk of childbearing to limit them.
A woman can overcome these traumas if the man realizes that a woman’s fulfillment, desire and happiness lie with him.
But most men do not know how a woman is supposed to be loved. They don’t know what fulfills a woman’s dream. Sex has been over exaggerated. Men think that once they make love to a woman, they have conquered her and they are actually helping her.
It is really unfortunate that most women are beginning to think that only when a man has sex with them that they are desire and loved. Such women later realize that sexual attraction for a man do not necessarily mean love; it is just a hormonal, biological impulse.
For the man who wants to love his wife and see her happy and fulfilled with him, I suggest some practical ways I think a woman feels loved, even without sex.
1. Make sacrifices for them
Do things that may cost you, yet for their utmost favor. Make extra efforts to satisfy them. Jacob served 14 years for Rachael. (Gen 29: 18-20).
Sometimes, you need to find out what is really important to her. They may even be simple courtesy and kind gestures.
2. Make them as comfortable as you would to your mother
Most men have a soft spot for their mother. No matter what anyone says about your mother or what she has done to them, they never despise or disregard her. In your heart of hearts, your mother has an irreplaceable position.
Every man loves his mother in a way he himself does not understand. He would never tolerate an insult from anyone on his mother. He would give his mother anything.
Most men still listen to their mothers, even when they are 50. A little of such will make your wife feel she is worth something divine to you. (Genesis 24: 67).
Your vulnerability to your mother makes your wife jealous, and if she can know that she feels the same for her, she would be comforted.
Every man loves his mother’s cooking, no matter how it tastes. Start with that!
3. Give her and her mother things (Genesis 24: 52-53)
Women may tell you they are not materialistic, yet a woman would love meaningful gifts. Your wife will want regular gifts and would enjoy you more when you say: ‘This is for your mother.’
If you show special love to your wife’s mother, she will regard you greatly.
4. Make her feel your passion, your heart, your heat and your affection (Judges 16: 15)
I have written so much about sex, yet men do not realize how much skill in love-making would take than strength or size.
Sex with your wife should communicate affection; it is not a ‘Sport.’ I am not eliminating any creativity in sexual positions or patterns, but what I mean is that your love-making should reach the heart of your wife and say something.
If you have sex with your wife, as you would do a person you pay for a night, it would lose its effect. The tenderness, communication, understanding, patience, force, expression…should be deep.
The ‘afterglow’ hug, kiss, talk, reassurance and appreciation will give meaning to your relationship.
Your passion for your wife outside the bedroom is the skill you would need to keep her heart linked with you forever. Non-sexual touches run deep into the sub-consciousness of your wife.
5. Love her children. (1st Samuel 1: 5,
Elkannah said ‘his love for his wife was more than 10 sons. She had a worthy portion from her husband, but that didn’t make her happy. She was always sad until the priest assured her she would have a child.
If you show love, care and attention to your children, you have won your wife’s heart forever. Women love their children in a way no one except a mother would understand. Even in discipline, show love.
If your children are your best pals, you return home on time for them, work for them, buy gifts, go to their schools, help them with their homework and take them out, your wife will be strong for all her battles.
6. Never expose her weakness (Matthew 1: 19)
Joseph was a just man, and even when he knew Mary was with a child whose origin he didn’t know, he didn’t want to put her away publicly.
He knew she would be stoned to death if anyone thought of her as unfaithful or adulterous. He wanted to put her away privately. No calling of in-laws or family members, etc. He was still contemplating on it when the angel of God appeared to him.
For me, if you really love a person, you cover his/her sins. There are ways of doing it, but exposing a person in a world where life is not valued is risky. She would change and be better, but not in the hands of those who hate her.
7. Give her attention (Esther 5: 2-5)
Whenever your wife seeks your attention, be ready to offer it. Notice her. Listen beyond what she seems to be saying. Never let her feel she doesn’t matter or her opinion doesn’t count.
Find a way of being a leader, yet not letting her feel the weight. Look out for her; find her.
8. Marry her (Genesis 34: 3-4,
There are men who want a woman to give them children and comfort, yet would not make them a wife. One of the greatest honors a woman has is being officially and legally declared a ‘MRS…’
Do whatever it takes to make her your wife. Go to the parents or guardian and find a way to get their approval and blessings.
I am not an advocate for dowry, but if that is what it takes, try. It is not when you have sex with a person or dis-virgin a girl that you make her a woman.
From a biblical perspective, a woman has been made before even the man met her.
Marriage makes a girl your woman, your wife, your own. Marriage affords you a public and private right to call her your own. There is no greater joy for a woman than that.
9. Treat her with honor and understanding (1st Peter 3-7)
Some men strip a woman of every respect and honor the moment they marry her. His very language and choice of words to the wife is void of honor.
In public or private, he wants people to know he is in control and his wife has no say. His intention may be to protect the marriage, but the attitude is wrong.
It is true that sometimes a woman behave in a particular way not too acceptable in a man’s world, but the man need to treat her with understanding.
See her as a weaker vessel. Realize that a woman’s approach to things is a function of her sexuality and make up not necessarily stupidity. With time, she would learn.
Tell her the truth in love. Be firm where necessary, but don’t let it damage her self-esteem or sense of worth to you.
10. Help her find God (1 Corinthians 11: 3-5; John 20: 2)
You won’t be able to satisfy all the woman’s longings. She has a creator, a God. Help her find God. Never stop your wife from advancing her relationship with God. Lead her to God if she hasn’t found the way.
Take her to church; allow her attend fellowship. Teach her to pray. Be a good example of a Christian to her. Make sure if she follows you and lives with you, imitates you, she won’t be far from Christ and would make heaven at last. |
Crime › ‘wonder Bank’ Owners Disappear With Customers Deposit' by chigomiced(op): 1:15pm On Apr 08, 2015 |
Scores of people in Kwara State who claimed to be customers on Tuesday besieged the premises of Ayonitemi Cooperative Business Finance, alleging that they had been defrauded by the firm.
The wonder bank is located at Oniyangi, near the Emir Road, Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
Many of the customers, who gathered on the premises of the bank as early as 7am, said they had lost substantial amount of money which they deposited in the finance house.
Our correspondent observed that some of the customers were weeping.
They stated that they had been promised mouth watering financial offers if they made deposit in the bank.
Many of them spoke on the condition of anonymity to avoid being made subject of mockery by people who might know them.
One of them said she received information to come on Tuesday to collect her money which she had been depositing in the bank for many months.
She claimed to have invested about N1m in the bank without her husband’s knowledge and consent.
“I have been depositing money in the bank for some months. They promised that they will not disappoint us.
“They told us that they were from Kwara State and they had no other place to run to.
“So, I was convinced that this bank was real.
“I did not even inform my husband of my transactions with them.
“Unfortunately, they disappointed us and ran away.”
Some other victims claimed to have lost money ranging from N100,000 to N450,000.
Some of them later descended on the office of the firm and carted away office furniture and items, including electronics.
Efforts to get the reaction of the officials of the bank proved abortive.
The Kwara State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ajayi Okesanmi, said the command had not been briefed that about the alleged fraud by the bank. |

Politics › 36 Dead As Explosions Rock Biu Again by chigomiced(op): 12:43pm On Feb 18, 2015 |
There was multiple bomb explosions in Biu, the biggest town in south of the troubled Borno State on Tuesday, a resident of the town, Ibrahim Isah, said on the telephone.
Though details of the explosions remain sketchy as the extent of damages and number of casualty could not be ascertained on Tuesday afternoon, Isah said the incident occurred at about noon.
He insisted that it was massive and might have led to huge loss of lives.
A member of youth vigilante, who spoke on the condition of anonymity on the telephone to our correspondent, said the incident happened at a neighbourhood known as Yamarkumi along Maiduguri Road.
“There were three explosions in Yamarkumi here in Biu town. Many people have been affected; the casualty figure from what we are seeing now have surpassed that of the market suicide bombing that occurred on Thursday. Ambulances are rushing in and out for now. We will give you details later, “another health worker told our correspondent.
However, one medical source at the General Hospital, Biu told AFP that 36 people were killed while 20 were injured in the blast.
Effort to get a confirmation of the incident from the Police and military authorities failed. But a security source at the 7th Division of the Nigerian Army, Maiduguri, an Army captain, whose name could not be published as he was not authorised to speak to the press, said the matter had been reported and the military operatives were already embarking on a full scale action in the area.
Meanwhile, the Boko Haram insurgents have burnt down the palace of the Emir of Askira in Askira-Uba Local Government Area of Borno State, the spokesman for the youth vigilante group, Jubrin Gunda, said on Tuesday.
Speaking to our correspondent on the telephone from Maiduguri, the state capital, Gunda said the palace was attacked by the insurgents on Sunday night.
He said during the Sunday’s attack the palace was razed by the sect’s fighters.
He lamented that after beating a retreat on Sunday, the insurgents came back to Askira on Monday morning to continue their reign of terror as they burnt down some other houses and killed many residents of the town.
He said, “As of now, I cannot tell you the number of people killed but all I can say is that the palace of the emir was razed on Sunday by the insurgents at night, they equally returned to burn more houses in the town on Monday morning.”
“At the moment, they are not in the town as they have fled back into the bushes and as such you cannot say the town was captured.” |
Education › Ebola Outbreak: Liberia Schools Reopen After Six Months by chigomiced(op): 12:17pm On Feb 18, 2015 |
Many schools in Liberia have reopened, six months after they were closed to try to curb the spread of Ebola.
Pupils welcomed the move, but some raised fears that the deadly disease had not yet been totally eradicated.
Staff at school gates were equipped with thermometers to take pupils’ temperatures and buckets of chlorinated water for them to wash their hands.
Liberia was one of three West African states worst affected by the Ebola outbreak, identified in March 2013.
More than 9,000 people have been killed by the virus, but there has been a general decline in the number of cases in recent weeks.
Only three new confirmed cases were reported in Liberia in the week leading to 8 February, according to the World Health Organisation
The leaders of the three states – Liberia’s Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Guinea’s Alpha Conde and Sierra Leone’s Ernest Bai Koroma – pledged at a meeting in Guinea’s capital Conakry on Sunday to achieve “zero Ebola infections within 60 days”.
Guinea reopened its schools a month ago and Sierra Leone plans to do so at the end of March.
Many schools in rural areas are not yet ready to open as they lack basic equipment such as chairs and soap, says the BBC’s Jonathan Paye-Layleh in the capital, Monrovia.
Deputy Education Minister Remses Kumbuyah told our reporter he was confident the schools would reopen in the next two weeks.
The government had put in place many preventative measures to prevent the spread of Ebola in schools, he said.
“We are asking all the school administrators to ensure that a classroom should not have more than 45 or 50 students. In the past they used to have 100 or more,” Mr. Kumbuyah said.
The Ebola outbreak has been the deadliest ever
Paul Toe, the dean of students at the Catholic-run Saint Michael High School in Monrovia, said the closure of schools had a psychological effect on pupils.
He also said some of the school’s pupils are now pregnant because they have not been at school and their parents “cannot control them” at home.
Theresa Larmah, 22, who was heading for a computer lesson at the Richard M. Nixon High School in the city when our reporter spoke to her, said that the closure of schools had been a good way to fight Ebola but the more “we sit at home, the more we go backward.”
Another pupil, Eric Blackie, said that with Ebola not yet wiped out “we will be afraid to touch each other in class, some colleagues will be afraid to come around; but we cannot just be sitting at home”. |
Politics › Boko Haram Vows To Disrupt Polls by chigomiced(op): 11:59am On Feb 18, 2015 |
Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau vowed to disrupt Nigeria’s upcoming general elections in a new video released Tuesday, after two suicide attacks in the northeast blamed on the Islamists killed 38 people.
“This election will not be held even if we are dead. Even if we are not alive Allah will never allow you to do it,” Shekau said in the Hausa language, presumably referring to the polls scheduled for March 28.
The video appeared to be the first message released by the group on Twitter, a sign of its changing media tactics after previous messages were distributed to journalists on DVD.
Shekau was shown in unusual clarity in front of a solid blue background, dressed in black and with an automatic weapon resting to his right.
Nigeria’s general election had been scheduled for February 14 but was postponed by six weeks, with the security services saying they needed more time to contain the violence in the northeast, Boko Haram’s stronghold.
Despite Shekau’s threat, experts doubt that the Islamist rebels have the capacity to disrupt voting nationwide, although election officials have conceded that voting could prove impossible in parts of the northeast, especially by March 28, the new election day.
But the latest wave of attacks blamed on the rebels underscored the challenge facing Nigeria and its neighbours — Cameroon, Chad and Niger — despite claims of successes in the joint operation launched this month. |

Romance › Re: Things That Girls Secretly Envy About Guys. by chigomiced: 10:09am On Feb 16, 2015 |
Dapo777: Being a girl comes with a lot of burden, sincerely I feel for the girls. Is it the menstral pains? Labour pain?inferiority complex? Ectesera . Okay let's get to the crux of the matter.
There are things guys do that are seen as normal but if a girl tries it, she would be castigated. So lucky I am not a girl. There are things that are natural to men that girls wish was applicable to them too.
1)Being able to Bleep as many girls as he desires: Girls secretly wish they could also Bleep as many guys as they desire but because they would be tagged LovePeddler and be treated badly and insulted by people ,they decide to let their desire burn within them. So sad.
2)A man can do any job: There is hardly any work a man cannot do,but there are so many jobs that are exclusively dominated by men, girls wish they could experience some of this jobs but they would be ridiculed/bullied if the venture into it.
3)A man is physically stronger. Women hate the fact that they are weaker than men, they hate the fact that they can't defend themselves from the hands of a man without another man's intervention. Even in sports too,men are stronger and more agile.
4)Men have natural beauty. At least that's what we are made to believe and accept that a woman must use all the make ups and go half unclad before men would consider her attractive, but a man almost doesn't need to do much to be attractive. Women would spend hours correcting their looks to be beautiful but a man wouldn't do any to be handsome. So sad.
5)Men are more intelligent generally. On an average, men are known to be more intelligent, this pisses women off(sorry dear), if a new game is introduced to a man and a woman to learn, like chess for instance,a man would grab it faster than a woman, which shows higher intelligence on the man's side.
6)Men are easily satisfied and they worry less. A man's life is so simple and worry free, this keeps girls wondering how they could do that when they themselves worry a lot about so many things with terrible mood swings. A man is satisfied with the simple things of life but a woman always want more and more and get more sad and angry as they get more. Ohhh dear, it is well
7)A man can go outside with just boxers/briefs. A woman can't do that, but they secretly wish they could go outside with their bare breast and experience the incomperable breeze of nature
Men are friends of each other Women are enemies of each other, they fight each other, curse each otger , envy each other etc but men generally flow easily with each other with very little friction, women wish this was the case with them.
Everything just boils down to the fact that "its a man's World" |

Everything was fine until we were leaving and I asked the lady in question for her pin. She told me I was too forward for asking her pin and that I should have asked for her number first. She ended up not giving me both.
Her friend that introduced us said I bleeped up.
This encounter has made me to seek other people's opinions on which one a man should ask for first, is it number or pin?
So far opinions are divided so I decided to ask you too.

Can you imagine? I have been back to that useless jazzman and the man has been speaking grammar telling me that because I wore red shirt and black trouser rather than red trouser and black shirt the thing didn’t take. I want to sue this idiot for breach of verbal contract; my friend says I should not as the man will jazz me but obviously I know his products are fake. Other people are saying I shouldn’t waste my time but this is embarrassing and depressing, everyday I have to see this fine girl who is doing me longer throat with that her fineness, and this man took my money for nothing. please help |

The Lagos State Government has declared Friday (today) a work-free day for its workers.
The government also urged private Sector employers to release their workers early to enable those of them who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter Cards to do so.
A statement by the Head of Service, Mrs. Oluseyi Williams, said the government was desirous of ensuring that all public servants in the state participated in the voting process.
The statement urged the workers to take the opportunity of the holiday to collect their PVCs at their polling units.
The statement added, “Enjoining private sector employers to release their workers early today for the same purpose, Governor Babatunde Fashola said the desired prosperity and the brighter rewarding future being sought after by the people, both for themselves and for their children, would be determined by their willingness to sacrifice time to key into the election process by collecting their Permanent Voter Cards for the elections.” |
