IRCC portal don't shows update most time but if you can set up a tracker with your UCI you will see alot going on with your application.

My sister got an email confirming her passport is available for collection in Lagos VFS today but when she logs in on the old portal, it still shows the message for her to submit her passport for stamping. Is this not supposed to change for visit visa? There is no indication on her IRCC platform that her passport was received and stamped for the visit visa. Please advise if you have experienced. We are all in this together since September 3 nothing except lots of ghost update.

If you have an existing sowp or visit visa application, please send a mail for prioritizing. Several.people sent the mail from the first day they applied for their sowp and got their visa in 2 weeks to 4 weeks.
Also regarding getting approval to travel, it is better to be overprepred than underprepared. Have all the needed documents to avoid insult at the airport, including authorization to fly for sowp.

Congrats. Yes you can send to Abuja but you will be required to pay one fee like that if you are not sending to the place you did your biometrics.

Please can you share your timeline?

I feel like sharing this information with everyone travelling to Canada through Ethiopian Airline. A friend of mine travelled last 2 days and we were at the airport together so I witnessed all what that transpired. For your information, please try as much as possible to get your Enrolment Letter printed out or on your phone to show at the boarding pass collection point. This is extremely important and I meant it. Also, make photocopies of every other school related documents, if possible, make two photocopies of each of the documents. On the issue of BTA, he was only with $50.00. He was not asked at the airport here or over there. He only declared the amount on a yellow form given to him to fill. As regards Covid Test, he was not asked for that at all but he ensured he had a print out of the Arrivecan app receipt.

I did a one way and paid the 11,300 for them to return to me. But several people here used two way UPS since thats what vfs uses for returning our passports back.

So that DHL picks up from the VFS and delivers to you?

Is that how you did it.?

I was told that if you don't have the slip you will need to pay the 7,000+ and thats what I did. I had no issues getting my passport back.

How will DHL know when the passport will be ready?

Does he just go to any DHL office and pay for two way return from the passport office, I'm confused, please provide more clarity.

Finally done with VFS and their wahala. Passport received few minutes ago.

I didn't receive my counterfoil and loi until yesterday. Mehn the experience is another story to tell.

Anyone having challenges with ircc or vfs should keep raising webforms, sending emails and calling vfs. It will end in praise.

There is no format. Just send your full names as is on your passport and the DHL tracking number. Please follow up with a call as that is faster than email

Looks like your passport is ready. I got 3 mails from vfs this morning. And I have the same message as yours when I tracked it

I got this same message too and two other messages.

But my profile still reads 'you need to send your passport '.

No Loi or counter foil.

Those that have passed this stage please advise on the next course.

Received bvl yesterday and PPR today.
3rd study visa application.

I submitted the same documents as my previous application and then did an extensive LOE directing the VO to the different documents that they missed. Backed up with prayer.

Please for the biometric slip, I don't have the slip from the first time I submitted. Can I submit the BVL in its place or what other document can I submit.

The biometric confirmation slip is it the one you were given when you first dropped your biometric? I did my biometric almost 4 years ago, I don't have the initial slip. Is there any other document that one can submit in place of the slip?

Ensure that your passport is insured by the courier company. I paid extra N2,500 for that.
