There is a line on the JAMB Mock Exam Printout that states that if you miss the JAMB Mock Exam on 7th April, then you would forfeit the actual UTME exams in May. A Myschooler reported this issue after he noticed that condition on the Printout email from JAMB about details of the Mock Exam . This notice is mainly for those, who indicated that they wanted to participate in the Mock Exams earlier during Registration. Did you also notice that condition on your own print out? In as much as we would not want to believe that JAMB is serious about effecting that harsh penalty, we would want to encourage everyone, who indicated interest to write the JAMB Mock Exam, to make sure they are present at the venue and time for the Mock Exam, as indicated on the print out of the slip. JAMB is obviously taking the Mock Exam seriously, and they expect that if you indicated an interest to participate in the exam, then you too should be serious about it. JAMB may have set certain criteria, on maybe their handling capacity to conduct the 2017 UTME, and you may jeopardize the set threshold by not attending. We therefore expect you to take the Mock Exam like the Main exam, and try to attend. After all, you promised to attend. JAMB is also depending on you. No going back! Many candidates that has registered for the 2017 UTME and obtained the newly introduced Novel "In Dependence," must have finished reading the book (that is for those that enjoy reading novels). Already many have started asking of questions they are to expect during the examination. At the moment I have come up with few questions from the first two chapters of the book. With time more questions will be included. However, we advise candidates to ensure they finish the whole book before the examination as what we have here is just to hive you an idea of how the questions will likely be presented. The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has disclosed that it has arrested 25 persons over illegal registration and sales of 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) document. This was made known by Dr Fabian Benjamin, Head of Public Relations during an interview. This reports from candidates which made the Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit to act. According to him, the individuals who were arrested by a combined team of Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU); members of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Nigeria Police Force were allegedly selling JAMB syllabus and e-Brochure which was meant to be free at the cost of N800 and inflating the registration cost. He urged applicants seeking to register for the forthcoming UTME to go about their registration in line with due processes, to avoid hitches associated with irregularities and emphasized that JAMB would stick to its stipulated period of one month for outright registration for this year’s examination.
