BabajhideySammy:
Hello, has anyone gotten visa after having two recent visa refusals from other countries, for example Canada? This is because I have two recent denials for study permit from Canada and now I am considering Dublin. Please if there is anyone who has gone through this, should share. Thanks.

An English test is a requirement for the visa

legionnaire:

Thanks ICaSNg. Please must I write an English test before processing my visa application or can I still get my visa even without writing any English test?

Thanks for the anticipated response. I appreciate.

Good evening House.

Visa Issued
I applied: 20th November 2019
Visa Stamped: 9th December 2019
Course: Cybersecurity
School: National College of Ireland, Dublin.

I Received it today!! (NOTE: UPS estimated delivery date was on Monday 16th, but I put a call through their customer care service and requested for it to be delivered today)

Firstly, I want to give all the glory to God almighty, because when I begin to think of all the stress I went through and whatnot for this application, The times I was refused Canada (twice) and USA (Twice) visa. The last refusal was the USA which was in Abuja. Mhen I felt like the universe was against me, wetin i no think that time...... but look at me now shinning my teeth and rejoicing for Joy.

Thanks to @Chiggsglover my real guy, chai this guy gave me reasons to still believe that mine would come out positive, @ICaSNg thanks for your input concerning my application, I am more than grateful and to others going out of their way to do the same, the Lord will reward you.

To those expecting theirs, May the almighty Lord grant you success in your Visa Application.

Although this thread is not for this kinda visa... Buh from my own perspective, the conference is long gone, why are you still appealing? . It will be refused without hesitation unless you have another conference coming up at a later date

Daywalkerjay007:
Hello house, i’m justus. Pls i have a problem concerning my irish visa refusal and i was asked to appealed it. i apply for conference but when i submitted my application the conference date was about two weeks to the date i submitted. 2 reason for the refusal was 1. insufficient documentation. 2. letter of invitation no longer valid - dates for event /course/conference have passed. i was giving option to appeal pls what can i do and how certain this appeal can be taking serious by the irish embassy . thanks

Apply for social care course..... You'll get job easily Cuz Der are in high demand in Ireland. You won't regret it.

Stephanie22:
Thank you so much Chiggsglover for your prompt response. I studied economics as you but i am not good in IT.

I am considering going for the course Business Analytics but i do not know how much of IT is in it.

Do you mean if one does not get a suitable job after the expiration of work visa in Ireland one can apply for a job in US or UK ?

U make laugh bro about this software engineering stuff.... What's the population of Ireland that ur comparing to UK. There are some professions in Ireland that is wide open to all nationals, example is the Ict sector.

waynee2baba:

"...most companies will come down to Ireland thereby creating more job opportunities" Okoto meow skrr yarns tbh. Ireland has US tech firms such as Indeed, Udemy, Facebook, Amazon, Google, PayPal etc and other top FinTech companies but someone with a first class complained bitterly here about job avaliability and others on this forum keep complaining about how difficult it is to stay back and get something.

In terms of hiring - Irish first, Europeans next, American, Indian/Chinese then Blacks. You can see that you're way at the bottom tier. In the UK, the diversity is way better and you actually have a fighting chance.

And what proof do you have that UK study visa will be hard? I gave you an explanation based on facts and you replied based on your assumption and thinking. Ireland won't benefit nada from Brexit compared to us. Due to Brexit, UK plans to fast track visa applications for health professionals from non UK countries and visa to be given within 2 weeks!

Do me a favour. Go to LinkedIn and search for Software Engineers in United Kingdom and then Ireland then compare the search results. I'd do it for you sef.

Got anything else to say? Ireland so-called "Tech hub"
Travel / Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Chikaokafor1: 8:51am On Dec 03, 2019
Bros, u think UK visa won't start been hard once the June 2021 is approaching. It was easy B4 Cuz they know u are moving out as soon as ur done with studies. Besides, with the brexit coming, Ireland will benefit immensely from it Cuz most companies will come down to Ireland thereby creating more job opportunities.

waynee2baba:

Y'all start getting ready for UK now and forget this Ireland and Canada thing.

If you enroll for January 2020 start and your course is for 16-months, you'd get it cuz UK post-work will take effect in June 2021.

* 2 years post-study work visa

* More student job opportunities compared to Ireland

* No IETLS needed

* 15 working days standard visa, 5-8 days priority, 24-48hrs super priority compared to Ireland's 2 months and Canada's "6 months" plus refusal

* UK study visa is straightforward. You don't have to write SOP, LOE and submit proof of 500 documents and home ties BS. Visa interview for standard is easy too, you basically know the questions they would ask. They don't even care about your previous visa refusals provided that you haven't been fraudulent or committed attrocities.

* You dont need to spend 800 euros on accommodation and also share your room, haba! 300 quid/month will get you a decent single room outside London.

* Admission is faster compared to Ireland and Canada

* MSc application is free in most UK Unis! No application fee at all! Coupled with generous disocunts too.
You can apply to 50 Unis in the UK and make your choice compared to Canada.

* Cheaper Universities compared to Ireland that are more recognised

* UK is generally more diverse compared to Ireland.

* Regardless, UK employers are willing to sponsor your Tier 2 visa compared to Ireland

* Some UK Unis like Birmingham city university and Uni of Bedfordshire have February start.

In my own opinion, you have two options. Cover the details yourself and send to her or snub her full time Cuz I don't see the reason why the school needs to see your visa

post=84558212:

Hello everyone. My name is kayode. I got visa to study in TCD last month. School starts in January.

Pls I need help. After getting visa, will the school request for a copy? My agent said I should send a copy to her since last month that the school wants to see it. I don't want to give her cos she sends other clients documents and visa page to me without covering their details.

She doesn't protect the privacy of her clients. I feel she only needs a copy to include in her portfolio.

Pls advice me, have been posting her since November but she's not letting me to rest.

Pls kindly give an advice. Thanks
