Google is preparing to take computing to warp speed.

The internet search company announced a new partnership with researchers at the University of California Santa Barbara to develop "quantum computing" technology.

The science behind quantum computing is highly technical and still very theoretical. In simple terms, quantum computers make use of quantum bits, or qubits, to process information, as opposed to the binary system of ones and zeros used by traditional computer processors.

Scientists say qubits can behave like ones or zeros, or both. In theory, this should make quantum computers exponentially faster than digital computers that use a binary system to process information.

China is currently home to the world's fastest computer, the Tianhe-2 supercomputer, which is capable of nearly 55 quadrillion of calculations per second. A quantum computer could make that look like a snail.

Google and UCSB say they will form a "quantum artificial intelligence team," which will continue to lay the groundwork for quantum computing.

The search giant has already been working with scientists at D-Wave Systems on a quantum computer system. D-Wave is developing what some call the first commercially viable quantum computer, the "Vesuvius." It is also working with NASA on a 1,000 qubit "Washington" processor. Google has been branching out into emerging technologies, from self-driving cars and wearable devices to drones and satellites, as it looks for growth opportunities beyond its market-leading search business.

LAGOS (AFP) – The Federal Government  on Wednesday announced that a seventh person had died from Ebola and another person was confirmed as having the virus.
The latest death was a patient at the isolation ward in the oil city of Port Harcourt, where a doctor died on August 22 after treating a Liberian man who had brought the disease into the country.
Dr Ike Enemuo fell ill and died after treating an official from the ECOWAS regional bloc who travelled to Port Harcourt after having contact with a Liberian man who brought the virus into Nigeria. The Enemuo’s wife contacted the disease, which claimed the life of her husband, Ike Enemuo, on August 22
The other five deaths were in the financial capital, Lagos. Four were healthcare workers who had treated the Liberian, who also died.
Health ministry spokesman Dan Nwomeh said 18 people, including the deceased, had now been confirmed as having the virus in Nigeria — 14 in Lagos and four in Port Harcourt, 435 kilometres (270 miles) away.
The wife of the Port Harcourt doctor who died was being treated at an isolation unit in Lagos, while another case was in a quarantine facility in the oil industry hub.;
Eight people who contracted the virus have been successfully treated and discharged, Nwomeh said in a series of statements on Twitter. A ninth person, who infected the Port Harcourt doctor, also recovered.
A total of 41 people were under surveillance in Lagos and 255 in Port Harcourt. And 320 people have been discharged in Lagos after being under surveillance for 21 days — the virus’ incubation period

I don't know much about Maxscan Obd II and u can google it to know mo, but my small bluetooth elm scanner which i purchased #4500 at konga is servin m although it cant check for airbag, abs, etc. But it haso functions than my previous D900 version 2013 model I buy for #12000 last yr from lagos. Ir uses a software from my techno Android phone. U re welcomed. Gudluck

Probable Cause: Wiring, CMP Actuator, ECM.

Johnson213: Your car has three major faults.

1. P0300, 0301, 0302, 0303, 0304
This is a case of random / multiple cylinder misfire. You will need to replace the spark plugs (4 in number) and perhaps service the injector nozzles. if this codes still persist, then you may need to replace the ignition coils but I pray you will not have to get to this point.

2. P0016 - Crankshaft Position / Camshaft Position bank 1 Sensor A -correlation
Probable cause - Wiring, Crankshaft position sensor, Camshaft Position Sensor or mechanical fault.

3. P0100 - Mass Airflow Sensor / Volume Airflow Sensor - Circuit Malfunction
Probable Cause - MAF/VAF Sensor.

Once you fix all these, your car should be running fine again. Best of luck with your repairs

My toyota corolla 2003 starts and dies whenever I starts it in the morning. It stops dat only when the engine guage at the dash board reaches half mark. It takes me about 10min to reach that temperature by continuing to hold the throttle ( to riv d engine) be for I can drive. But immedately d engine gets hot all these problems disapears. I hv changed the ideal air control valve, and set the engine but it contiues. Pls what could b the problem

Tomiccell: Finally drained the wrong ATF and put in Toyota's T-IV. I must confess, there is a big difference in gear change experience.
Now i'm getting a much more better gear change.
Moral of the story: I could have caused damage to my gear system by just using a random 6k ATF, instead of the recommended 7k ATF. Minor mistake, major consequence

There must be water or water vapour entering through an orifice in the headlamp housing.

Most modern headlamps (including your Corolla's) are manufactured to be air tight so as to prevent dust or moisture from getting in and affecting the glare efficiency of the mirror like reflctor of the headlamp lens.

Some naija panel beaters would use a long self tapping screw to hold the headlamp unit in place after repairing an accident damage. They drill a hole (or several) into the unit and this would allow water or dust into the casing.

A headlamp bulb that is not properly inserted into the housing or loosely fit could also cause this.

Check for loose fiting headlamp bulb/s or completely remove the headlamp unit and examine for any cracks or drillings.

Hi friends my Toyota Corolla 2003 left side (passenger side) headlamb is developing a water vapour inside, and it clears sometimes in the afternoon unda a hot sunlight or when a highbeam light is switched on for long time.

ok, now the part number would be same as any other of same year and model, so check about to get a part number for same make,model and year, go to a dealer and check, you will never get a matching ECU without the exact part number.And dont forget, your new ECU had to be programed with you correct VIN number and milage, dont just buy any ECU and think it would work.

I use tramigo T-22 and I only recharge the simcard via airtime transfer or VTU. Its been over a year I installed it and no complains or message informing me to come and renew my subscription. I use SMS commands on it and its ignition sensing and it employs GSM/GPS signals. If I send an SMS command to the tracker (eg I send an SMS to "disable" my ignition/car, I only have to pay 4naira normal text message fee for that command) I gơt it installed at 80k after I purchased my car in Lagos wharf last year.

Foot Note: I always turn my steering to lock the steering wheel after taking my key off the ignition and I alway use steering and pedal locks.

I heard dat tramigo T22 can b tranferred to one vehicle to anoder witout any wire connection. Is dat tru.
