It will serve justice to PDP, Omisore, the APC and obviously to the people who made the victory possible.

It will really be a redefining moment in our politics. This election will be remembered as the toughest "free and fair election" to happen since 1999. And in this victory, Omisore "wins" and should be remembered and treated as the hero who made this victory happen.

APC should take this victory home : to sweep out their deficiencies in Osun and should further unfurl its banner to serve and comfort the people of Osun with true dividends of democracy through the provision of more far-reaching infrastructure, poverty reduction and human empowerment schemes, jobs, quality health care schemes etc.
It really behoves on the Oyetola guy to govern like a politician and a technocrat in-one and raise the bar of state governance in Nigeria to meet the quality of state governance in flourishing states in the rest of the world. We have had enough jokes from idiots milling around government houses in the guise of governors.

With this victory assured, all eyes are now on the State of Osun...will they afterwards be in the news for serious reasons or for the wrong reasons?
May God help Oyetola to surmount all the challenges in the inevitable tough days ahead to succeed!

I appreciate your opinion but I disagree with your Oyinloya case study. It was a beautiful deal and he was beautifully rewarded. A chairman of a very viable first class government board. It was miscalculation and an "over show" of loyalty to Obj that caused him his job.
Regrettably, Obj now lacks the capacity to either STOP Buhari from recontesting or from winning the election.
Besides, Fayemi is Omisore's "in-law" and I am very sure a lot of insurance covers the Omisore- APC pact. He will certainly laugh last

Sir, your view of the of the whole situation is good, but if PDP had picked Omisore, do you think Ijesa people would have voted for him the way they did on Saturday? For me, a capital No will be the answer! Omisore is a man I would have loved flagging the PDP flag last Saturday, but going by the name ijesa people had given to him ( Killer) believing he killed Bola Ige many of them will never cast their votes in his favor.Tho Ede people really tried by giving almost all their votes to their son, but that would have amount to nothing without the thousands Ijesa also gave to him..Just imagine PDP winning Obokun, Oriade, ilesa west and one of Atakunmosa LG, all this really contributed to their lead. The fact that we are in a lock jam, necessitating a rerun and in dire need of a victory for continuity where the incumbent APC ruled for 8years and the incumbent governor lost his HoR and senatorial constituencies proves other wise. For me it's an insult, a shame and failure for PDP to have 88 votes in Aregbe's polling unit. With what differential margin did APC win there?
