Odbestie: Thanks so much everyone for your response
Please how do I extend my stay after getting there?
Do I need to submit any document? Or I just need to extend my flight ticket? Is it extending your 6months visa? If so, you can't get extension in the UK, u have to come back and reapply for either 2,5 or 10years Visa which you can't stay in the UK for more than 6months. But if is your return ticket, you can extend it through the airline or the agent that booked it for you. |

AyodejiGREAT: When applying for this, what visa am I suppose to put for the TB test. Check TB test centers close to you, their is IOM in Ikeja Lagos, saint Nicholas hospital in island. Their are approved hospitals in Abuja too and IOM in Benin. The visa is UK dependant Visa or UK visa I have forgotten. But I did mine at saint Nicholas hospital. But the disadvantage of saint Nicholas hospital is that their results takes 24hours to come out but others you have to collect it immediately. |

AyodejiGREAT: Baba, please can I connect with you outside the forum?
I'm about beginning my own dependant application and I'll need some vital information.
Your email or WhatsApp number will be appreciated for further communication. I really know the information you need but dependant Visa is one of the easiest application. Documents needed are: 1: Birth certificate or declaration of age certificate from NPC. 2: Marriage Certificate 3: A proof that your marriage is genuine and subsisting. Here you need pictures or you and your spouse together both old and new, WhatsApp chats, Facebook chats, bank transactions, tenancy agreement of you people are paying rent together but is not a must. 4: Your spouse Cos number 5: Your spouse address in the UK, if maintenance is ticked in the Cos and is less than 3months, you can put the address in the Cos as your spouse address. 6: Police clearance certificate (you can get this in police headquarters in your state or you can apply online and book your biometrics) 7: TB test 8: If maintenance was not ticked in your spouse Cos and is more than 3months, you need to present a statement of account with £1,270 or more. |

davodyguy: Congratulations.
I think this thing is just luck sometimes.
Some people here do say all the traveling expenses should not exceed 50% of your salary/balance
Here, you're spending more than 60% of your account balance, and you're granted. He is going to write exams and is likely PLAB2 test. And he must have shown all the evidences. In his case it doesn't necessarily need to be 50% salary spending. |

If is TLS office Lagos no wahala, you will just pay around 27k and they will upload it for you. But if is Enugu and Ph, you have to do it yourself because they don't have the facility to upload documents. TLS don't have physical offices in those locations, they are using hotels for their biometrics. |

woffie: Good evening pls I want some clarification. someone in UK was telling my cousin that applicant who's COS (care job) issued before the 11th deadline can still bring in dependant..Note : Main applicant is yet to make application till now but he's claiming the main applicant can still bring dependant because the COS was issued before 11th deadline .... Is a very fat lie ooooo, run for your life. Any application that was done before 11th can bring dependant that is if the visa was granted. But any application from 11th march under care route will not be able to bring dependant. |

NezzyMike: We arrived at Cairo by 9pm, stamping of passport took almost 4 hours (till 1am).
We got to the hotel by 2am and was served a meal with dessert. I slept for 1hr plus and by 4am we were woken up to go to the airport. Abeg that journey is not for the weak, if you get money use Qatar.
But if you no get, use Egyptair and remember you'll pay for yellow card at the airport before your are checked in/board.
You can also reach out to Wakanow, ask them for dates that are cheaper if you want to use Egyptair or any other airline. Cairo stopover na di£ abeg Please how much is the yellow card at the airport? My niece is traveling to Manchester on second week of April and she booked Egypt airline. Or should we get the yellow fever card at Asaba airport? Please I await your response. Thanks. |

wondychiqe: I really appreciate your reply cos I was a bit confused. So does this mean that support workers can still bring dependants or they are under the care worker route too? They are under the same route. The only people eligible to bring dependant now are Heath car workers examples: nurses, doctors, lab scientist etc. |

Saeed348: Please house, any recommendation for the cheapest airline to book for a flight from Nigeria to London/Manchester? The cheapest airline is Egypt airline depending on the date you are booking. But the issue with Egypt airline is that from reviews I see online, the are specialists in misplacing people luggage. But never the less, every airline has its own wahala especially if is not a direct flight. |

Physicist: I saw D SKILLED worker MIGRANT on the VISA he sent to me. The VISA seems genuine. He apply by himself at the UK embassy. He did not use any Agency because of fear of 419 or scam/ . Migrant means he has permanent stay. That is my understanding. I am currently in the USA. My understanding is that he needs to use the COS within 3 months. Oga you aren't in the USA, I put it to you. We should stop forming what we aren't on social media. All visa has 3months validity stamped in the "vignette" and someone who claimed to have had a visa before talk more of being in the USA will not be asking such questions. I rest my case. |

Samguine: To clarify; the visa is for 3 months or the COS is for 3 months? He is one of those that form what they aren't on social media. He is talking about the validity of visa if not used which is common in all visas. Someone who claimed to be outside the country should know this little information. But believe many people, they will be forming pouch on social media. But this one na something else. |

Physicist: Hello Good Nairalanders,
I am planning to buy a ticket for one of my siblings to start a healthcare job in the UK. I am currently not in Nigeria. A copy of the VISA he showed me showed a COS with duration of 3 months on the VISA.
Can I buy a one-way ticket for my sibling or should it be a return ticket? Thanks. I doubt it you ever gotten a visa before talk more of travelling out of the country. Some people will just come to social media to display ignorance. Which UK visa is three months? Let me educate you, the three months you saw in the visa is the validity of the visa if she didn't use it for three months. I think you should do well and being real because anyone who have been issued a visa before talk more of travelling will know this simple thing in a visa. For health care, it will either be 3years or 5years depending on the offer of employment. Let's try to be real in this space so that people can advise you genuinely. |
