Obasanjo, an army engineer, was a Lieutenant Colonel at the 3rd Division in Jos, Plateau State. Boko Haram militants attacked a platoon led by the son of former Nigerian president Obansanjo, shooting him today. He sustained serious injuries to his legs, and was being transported to the hospital at the time of this report. Adeboye Obasanjo, an army engineer, was a Lieutenant Colonel at the 3rd Division in Jos, Plateau State. He and his platoon were engaged with Boko Haram militants at Baza, which is the village of the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the division when the incident took place. 24 soldiers in the platoon were reportedly killed by the militants. Apart from the dead soldiers, the army also lost an armored tank to the militants. As a result of the attack, the army has moved sensitive weapons from mubi to the Brigade headquarters in Yola leaving mubi vulnerable to attack. The town of Mubi has practically been deserted following the closure of schools and massive retreat of soldiers from the city. The former president is currently traveling in Singapore according to family sources. Read this write up and share ur views DORO song. Listen to the song very attentively and confirm it yourself. So many people are been blinded by the tones and sounds of music, nobody ever bordered to know the meaning and the words, everybody is busy singing and attaching doro to even their names, but the big question is WHAT IS DORO? Have you taken your time to listen to this doro song? I have and I will tell you what is doro by what the singer sang in the song, it�s a gathering of all the doro worshipers, their she god, each of them praising and explaining how BIG, HIGH and BLOODY she is, now let's fellow the song lyrics, the first singer started by praising, DORO~Boss, Big, Heavy, Doro~bloody, Doro gather pass everybody for the gathering, Doro get money pass everybody here, {meaning that the Doro is richer than all of them singing}. Now for people who say doro is money, from these last words, do you think they are referring to money? I am only picking my points from all the singers. So let's go to the Second singer. Another praise to their she lord, Doro fresh, flashy, fine pass everybody wey doro sing, {meaning that Doro is more pretty then all the singers}. Think!!! The third singer started with praise again, Doro na DIVA,{diva means a queen, female celebrity, god}. Doro the leader{meaning doro is a leader as in their leader}. Doro is bigger, Doro is higher so follow the leader, Doro get liver she no dey tire,{meaning that they are referring to she not money not fine}. Now the forth singer said Doro bad, make nobody try Doro, Doro we get money but lastly she said make nobody join Dorobucci ooo, the 5th now explain the personality of their god DORO is a kind of boss, a cheerful giver, doro get pass everybody wey don get before, doro fly pass everybody wey dey this plane, now from all this what is doro? they have made their point in the song every other words they added was to confuse us the listeners, they now use it as slang to everything they say because they have sold their soul to it and they belong to it, so that is why you hear doro don jazzy cos all are members, just the way Christians call themselves, children of God, Pick your phone and play the song then listen carefully. 2 Likes |

OGOJA – FIVE persons, a man and two of his children and two others were confirmed dead on Friday in the village of Uchenyim,Wanikade,North Ukelle in northern Cross River State after eating the meat of a dog. Reports from the area said the dog was fond of eating the eggs laid by native chicken in the Odareko-Uchenyim village and one of the villagers allegedly laced the eggs laid by his chicken with gamalin 20 insecticide and as expected, “the dog ate the eggs and fell ill and when it was about to die the owner quickly killed and prepared it into a delicacy which he,his family consumed and some neigbours consumed ” Ugbem Onawo, a villager narrated to Vanguard. The man and his two children and the two others who died,according to the report also ate the intestines of the dog where incidentally the poison from the gamalin 20 is lodged leading to their taking ill and dying . “After the man shared the intestines among his children and the two neighbours and they ate death came calling and they all died though at different times ”. Our source said Onawo said they were rushed to the local health centre for medical attention but were confirmed dead on arrival at the health centre. “A feeling of grieve has descended on the entire village and people are deeply saddened by what took place as such a tragedy has not befallen them before” Hon Frank Ugbem, the councilor representing Wanikade Ward at the Yala Local Government Area legislature said the tragedy is painful and that he has sent a delegation to console the bereaved families. He said all the dead have been buried in accordance within the tradition of the Ukelle people. |

The name of the club was change in 1986 during the reign of chief Antony Uzodima Ogidi, the then world chief to Kegite Club (motto: Unity Indiversity And discipline is our watch word) Obafemi Awolowo University ILE IFE is regarded as the WORLD HEADQUARTER where the A.B world resides, this is by the virtue of the possition of this institution in the formation of the club. the A.B world is the number one chief in Kegite club, the chief of University of Ibadan (also known as the NATIONAL HEADQUARTER) is second in Hierarchy. There are more than 100 ILYASIS (clubs) across the country and outside Nigeria. The club is reputed to have the largest members and admirers in the tertiary institutions of Nigeria.
