What's the essence of making money off forex speculation and one can't use the amassed forex-wealth to easily assess and buy fuel dto pump ordinary water to his household? undecided

And where he's finally able to assess via black-market, the exhorbitant price of fuel over time is equivalent to the money he just made from the speculation differentials if not more..

It's a case of Penny wise, pounds foolish long term if one is based in the country.

Gas we are not in control,crude oil the same thing. Steel na zero even the agency is still receiving allocations with nothing to show for it. Dangote is teaching us to hold the bull by the horn.

Probably Water scarcity!
Half of the country if not more especially urban areas rely on petrol generator to pump water to cook, bath, drink and clean.
Even common "sachet water" manufactures might close down.

Na "bloodbath" for water in some areas.

The high cost of petrol we have now would have been a child's play..

This is getting to over one month of international scarcity.

Be that as it may. Personally I'm not a fan of blood transfusion,and I pray that I never fall Into a situation where I'll need one,my wife has done surgery 3 times and each of those times God has been kind by giving us doctors who are willing to apply current medical practices involving non blood procedures,and it worked perfectly well for us..so there are choices people make.lets leave them to their choices,after all the Bible says "every man will carry his own load' of responsibility for his actions

Of course non-blood procedures will definitely be ideal. We hope research advances and spreads to become more affordable and especially accessible and widespread.

It's quite strategic that Africa and Nigeria lies towards the center of the planets
and also close to the equator.

Making it closer and a viable options for trades not just from both extreme Western and eastern located countries,
But also from extreme Northern and Southern located countries as well.

We just need high capacity functional ports in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

The blood is composed of:
Red blood cells
Whiteblood cells
Plasma
Water
Protein
Platelets
Etc...

Another issue to consider is this
Has there been any drugs, tablets or Cyrup that's usually consumed that uses components of blood from either animals or humans to Manufacture them?

If no, then The JW might have a point.
If yes, then we're all complicit knowingly or unknowingly.

The closest I and most of us know of is venom from Snakes, to create Antivenum medications.
But Venom isn't blood.

So y'all should let people be..who wan take let him or her take,who no wan take for any given reason,let him or her be...there are many choices we make in life,which some persons will frown at and vice versa.

Even "craze" men can have healthier liver, kidney, that are more suitable than intelligent/smart/phychological balanced folks.

You choice of acceptance isn't my point and concern.

Just wanted to clarify the GENERAL assumptions you might have inferred in your write-up that "ALL mentally ill peeps can't have compatible and healthy blood to donate".
Screening donors doesn't work like that.

Boy. There are many of us non witnesses who will not and never accept blood transfusion. It's a personal choice.and that's what the witnesses are told to do . they're shown the principles from the Scriptures then it's left to individuals to decide for themselves what to do or not to do.... recently I was wot a sick friend in one of the general hospitals..and behold those wen dem carry come to donate blood.all na kolo mental from their psychiatric ward..I no fit cry.so if I dey take blood transfusion,na dis kind blood wey dem no screen dem go give me ehn? Blood transfusion no be by force,leave the witnesses alone y'all.there are many who take blood and still die,some live but with many complicated issues.do ur own n leave people however they chose to do their own.

The state of a person's mental health doesn't decide the acceptability of his blood as a donor.
Some stable and mentally fit persons can fail a blood donation screening.

As Nigerians we know where we're coming from..
Prior to DR, some of those imports don't make it to the populace.

They are either still Smuggled out outside the country to Niger and Benin Republic for Arbitridge or hoarded for scarcity and further inflation of retail price.

I think only when one can prove why importation is needed currently and yet licence hasn't been issued.
Then you can have a case against "Monopoly".

And the chief regulator and supposed custodian of the policy says it's not currently the case..so why the ish?

I think the halt in import licence is good. It helps stabilise the naira.
Yes dangote will benefit more, but he isn't the only beneficiary.
There are smaller private refineries here and there also benefiting.

That's the ish..
They aren't aware the MAJOR factor that strengthed our naira is ALMOST 0% REDUCTION OF PETROL IMPORTS.
Dem want our naira plummets back to 1,600-2000 just to punish Dangote and stop Monopoly.

Why can't others just build refineries.
Solves the twin issue of forex and Monopoly..
