That’s sciatica pain. Baby’s weight is the culprit. I had it from 7 months till I had my baby in 2018. I couldn’t walk most days. It will disappear once you “unload”. Hang in mama, you’re almost there

I feel you @ bolded. No doubt there are fakes in the market. To survive in this country, we need hawk eyes and street sense.

She has a sensitive skin but diaper rashes hasn’t been one of her problems

I bought hypo in supermarket ( abi superstore) only for me to realized that it wasn't sealed and the tempo seal was broken. I took it back close to a week and the manager just asked them to change it. No argument not even asking whether I ve other occupants at home who might have done that without my knowledge.

It made me wonder if they actually know that some of their products are fake.

Huggies for the win, till it’s no longer doing it fir us. The band at the back is a plus for me, makes it snug.
That molfix is a killer stopped buying after I bought one that was “shedding”

It's not that the diaper gives rashes. The diaper is generally bad. It doesn't absorb urine and when baby poops, it spills through the sides. I used it a few times and whenever I wore it for my son, by the time he wakes up in the morning, its saggy! If I don't change it quickly before he poops, the poo ends up in his trouser

Yeah I understand, hence why I said we have had no issues at all. We had the stains and explosions with other diapers. Just make sure the elastic around the thighs is facing down and no part of the outer flap is folded in

Introducing solids at 2months was risky, thank God your baby took it well. Since you arent breastfeeding exclusively, there are some gerber cereals for 4months upward, avocados are great but pls minimal quantity and like once or twice a day. But remember all a baby needs in their first 6months is just milk; breastmilk or formula.

Funny thing is my daughter has been using the red pack huggies since November last year and we’ve had no issues whatsoever. She’s never also had diaper rashes even while using other diaper brands

I think it is a tad too much. You should take either just the PC Max or folic + another drug I’ve forgotten the name. Also excessive intake of vit C (especially supplements) could cause preterm labour, pregnant women are limited to 85mg daily. Maybe also talk to your doctor to guide you better? All the best mama

Please, how early can scan detect how many weeks gone I am cuz I am kind of confused. I saw my oeriod last month but missed it this month. However, my tummy is already changing which is not supposed to be if I am to go by when last I saw my period.
Also, I am using Pregnacare Max, 1 folic acid (the foreign one), 1 Bco tablet, 2VitC tablets, 1 ferrous tablet everyday. I hope its not too much as I get tired easily. Your response will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey mama, do you know this seed (dabino), Hausa guys that hawk tiger nut in wheelbarrows sell it, you can get it, de-shell it to get to the seed, that seed is a life saver, I used to take both the dabino and the seed together until someone told me it aids contraction, don't know how true it is but I stopped taking it, I was only taking the seed, mind you it's very hard to crack. I keep chewing it until I crack it.

these calculations are confusing lots of time,how many months are in 20 weeks,am not sure pregnancy calendar is same with the normal calender, I think is 4months and few weeks,not up to 5months, but lots of people are saying 5months,is just confusing.

You can refrigerate instead and warm with warm, not hot water. Frozen or refrigerated breastmilk is only good after 2hours after warming, whether the baby takes it or not. If you use an icepack or keep in the fridge after thawing without heating up, it can stay up to 24 hours

The milk is not bad, some babies take it nonetheless. How did you thaw it? Did you put it in hot water? Or if you used a bottle warmer, how long did you warm it for? Breastmilk is made up of water and fat, among other things and when fat is exposed to heat, you get oil. I noticed the oil forms when I “overheat” thawed breastmilk even though I thaw in the fridge, overnight. I also noticed when the oil forms, the smell and taste of the milk changes. Please my DS of a year and one week is refusing to chew his food. If I give him anything that does not have the consistency or texture of pap/ custard he usually swallows at once without trying to soften the food in his mouth first. Even very soft mashed rice or beans, he just swallows at once and starts coughing and choking. It has to be very watery and almost liquid before he can eat it without coughing because he doesn't chew or mix food in the mouth with spit first.


I don't know how to teach him to chew his food.
Help me.

Maybe give him finger foods? Like cucumber, steamed carrot, boiled potato or yam etc. cut to finger length. Give him to feed himself with supervision and see. You could make him see you taking a bite and chewing (make chewing sounds maybe?? Like mwah mwah Lol) while at it so he sees how it’s done

please mama's how can I make my son take drugs. I have tried to force him he will just pour it out. I try to sprinkle water or blow breeze on his face while giving him the medicine but all to no avail. I have tried using a dropper and it's still the same.is there a way I can trick him or cajole him?

With the dropper or a syringe, you can put through the side of his mouth and then drop it under or on the side of his tongue...reflex will make him swallow. Worked on all my sisters’ kids. Currently working on my DD. Be careful not to squirt it directly into his throat to avoid choking

Since other mamas answered the other questions you had, I’ll answer the one about sticking out tongue. I noticed my DD had it when she clocked 4 months. It just started one day like that and tbh, it was hilarious to watch cos she did it almost all the time. It is called tongue thrust reflex and should go away by or before 6 months when you have to introduce solids. Once it stops, the next weird thing you’ll notice is they start tightening their lips when you want to give them something they don’t want/know, clicking their tongues , spitting stuff out intentionally and blowing bubbles with saliva...

Stay strong mama and don’t let google give you High BP...just enjoy the process and milestones

His muscle tone is very low.Has poor neck control,low weight and can't bear weight on legs at 4 Months.
Sticks out tongue occasionally.
Birth weight is 2.3kg and present weight is 4.4kg

I was told not to take it while at the hospital, I can't remember the exact reason. My sis in law still said I shouldn't take it until 8weeks post delivery, I'm 4weeks PD and really want to include it in my diet but need to be sure. I don't even know if Yogurt is included cos I've taken that like thrice.

I was told not to take milk just incase it gave me gas/made me bloated a few days following the surgery cos you’re supposed to avoid anything that would put stress on your digestive system. Tried to take milk about 3 weeks later but it seriously affected DD. I tried a couple of times again and noticed whenever I take milk she will spit up so much you’ll think she threw up and she will have explosive poop that will require change of clothes and sometimes a thorough bath (TMI - and the poop was watery and mucusy) so I had to cut milk from my diet. Egg affects her too but not so much, she would only have mild spit up
