Please I wanted to ask if I can use pregnacare plus with calcium? I have been taking prenacare plus and my doc gave me calcium in my last visit. I forgot to ask her. Thanks!

My doc asked that i take my pregnacare original with calcium. It doesn’t have the recommended dosage and baby uses up to 250mg of calcium from mama daily in the third trimester. Started late in my DD’s pregnancy and the cramps I had was super bad. This time around, I’ve had little to none cos I started taking it same day i started taking pregnacare

Good morning experienced mamas in the house. Please help me o! For three days now, my sleep pattern has changed. I wake up at hour interval and find it difficult to fall asleep again or fall asleep very long. Today's own is worse. I haven't closed my eyes for 15min since yesterday night up till now that I decided to bring the matter here. I've tried all I could ranging from taking warm bath, drinking enough water, reading novel, surfing the internet all to no avail. Please is this really normal? If no, what can I do to it? It's not a good experience and I hope I really find help soon! Thanks for reading and I look forward to have answers to all my questions.

Third trimester monster lol. That’s the time I come on here or go on YouTube or start googling random things like “why the sky is blue”. Some nights, I cook or get busy cheesy

My own is that I am not happy I don't know any comfortable position we can take to do the do because of my big tummy

Spooning, cowgirl or reverse cowgirl (but you may need help from oga cos personally, I can’t carry myself again cheesy

), “douggie” (not on all fours. Hands against the wall, couch backrest, bed (if high) or headboard), side by side (facing each other), standing (dependent on height difference), side lying “douggie” (for lack of a better word cheesy

), good old missionary but with a twist - you alone on your side while Oga is keeping his weight off of you by propping himself with his arms (you can try this facing down as well but turned to your side and oga is propped up behind you)

Approach all with caution especially if you’re in your 3rd trimester. No deep penetration.

Mucus plug regenerates, as long as it isn’t bigger than a quater and bloody. I’ve lost bits of mine a couple of times. You should talk to your doc to put your mind at ease though

They said they won't attend to me if I don't get it paid on my next visit. When I told Oga sef, he said how many months old that they are asking for delivery fee. Will go to another govt. hospital jare. I just need a second hospital since they said its advisable to register in two hospitals.

They are requesting for this at 14weeks? Thought they ask for payment at 28weeks.

You could try Gwarimpa general hospital in Lifecamp. A doctor friend had her baby there and she said they’re good. I used there for my daughter’s immunization

I didn’t respond cos I have no answers. The only thing I know about FMC Jabi is that you have to have paid for delivery and all by your 28th week if you register for antenatal with them

Also, no timeline for MS. It could stop anytime. Some have it till they deliver, some others don’t get it at all. With my first pregnancy, MS was gone after week 13 while this one stopped around week 17 or 18 I think

I'm in the hospital since yesterday ,the leading twins is head down doc said he will send me home tomorrow morning if nothing happened throughout the night ...am in tears I don't know what's keeping them

Relax mama...don’t cause unecessary distress to yourself and your babies. They’re fine so nothing to worry about

Mama am really worried am 37+weeks with twins yet labour has not really set in doc did a membrane sweep yesterday yet no progress. I'm still in hospital ..i feel like crying i just want to see my babies doc said they are matured n 37weeks is considered full term for twins.

Wow 37 weeks! That’s full term for twins. My sister’s twins came at 33 weeks, her water broke but it ended in CS (long story). Please see your doc

Good morning mama's, I know I am not supposed to post this here but I need help at this time...And I need the healing very fast too... I had inevitable miscarriage at 27 weeks due to cervical incompetence on Wednesday ... I gave birth birth to a baby girl weighing less than 1kg, 0.83kg to be precised... it was very painful they couldn't saved her until she gave up on sunday... My heart goes out to you mama. So sorry you had to go through this. You do not have to be ashamed or feel like a loser, it could have happened to anybody. Give yourself time, let your body heal then you can try again...could be between 1-3months(you still have a big injury where the placenta was), take your medications religiously, your doctor must have given you some. Do not put yourself under any kind of pressure. Try not to be alone so your thoughts do not wander, surround yourself with trusted friends and loved ones. Soon you’ll get your testimony and your rainbow baby will stay. Be strong and may the Love of God comfort you at this time

My prince and princess arrived yesterday morning at exactly 36 weeks via elective CS.we all are doing good .God has done me so well.Handing over my booth to all awaiting mothers.Safe delivery to all my December mamas and other preggy mums.

I swear if I were you, I would just do elective cs jeje. VBAC sounds great but remember it could still go either ways. If you choose to have VD, tears/episiotomy are fairly common and you will heal up nicely with sitz baths( I never did this for two of my kids). Personally sex became better after my first baby and I had a tear oh.

But for peace of mind, I would strongly advice you do cs. Book a date and have your baby. In all trust your body and pls make arrangements for a help or nanny cos this mum of 2 lifestyle is something else.

Mothers, this is a long read but I need your advise. . Baby 2 will be here 2.5years post OP. I am a good candidate for a VBAC. Should I just go for elective this time or try VBAC. What if I tear in the Vagina? Will sex feel the same?We have people birth vaginally without complications too. What if I'm one of them? If you were me, what will you do? I need to make up my mind before Monday.

Take a deep breath mama....

You do not have to feed your fears.
Let’s say you try VBAC and get a tear, there’s nothing to fear cos you get stitched (I trust your doc is good in this regard and doesn’t do a shabby job). I have friends who said sex (and ultimately the Big O) felt better after having their babies vaginally while some said it hurt like it was their first time.

No two pregnancies or deliveries are the same. You may have an easier delivery experience this time if you eventually decide to try VBAC...(no need to think sideways)

For CS, you need to check your support system, will on hands be on deck for you? The first time, it was just you but this time, you’re healing, nursing a newborn and handling a toddler. If you’ll have help and won’t have anything delaying your recovery, you can give this a shot.

I have friends who had their first babies through elective CS and never tried VBAC

Ultimately, the decision rests on you. Do whatever feels right to you or you feel you can handle. Assuage your fears and everything will turn out just fine

Healthy mama and baby is the goal.

Hot for me; you can do any temperature you’re good with. I didn’t add milk cos my baby was lactose intolerant

Totally relatable. Didn’t even start getting into the experience till after my 13th week. I was a shadow of myself, couldn’t eat, lost weight. But now I can’t imagine not being pregnant or having this baby in a few weeks

To the glory of God Almighty, I welcomed my prince charming on the 24th of Nov at 5:50pm via VD weighing 3.3kg at 40weeks 6days.

I knew it wasn't normal but I kept hanging on, the more I felt like pooing, the more I kept using all my strength to push, I couldn't control it, the pushing was coming like 2-3 times in a minute, suddenly while pushing, I felt something in between my legs, next thing, blood rushed out, then my baby came out crying at 5:50pm. I had to scream for the nurses to come, they rushed in and was surprised at what they saw. Quickly they carried the baby, to clean him up, the other nurse examined me, placenta came out few minutes later, I was cleaned up and examined for tear, thankfully no tears at all. Few minutes later, my prince charming was handed over to me to suck breast

Yes. Mine became severe edema till 4 weeks post partum. Wore slippers from 5th month till a month after baby. Like you, before pregnancy, I used to have swollen ankles when I sat or stood for long

Pink is the new Blue! , I found out sex at 19wks to be XY, yet I went out last week to shop and bought some really cute girl's onesies and sleepwear, I just couldn't resist. When I got home and was proudly exhibiting my loot, Hubby was shocked and looking at me like I lost my brain in the market. I shaa told him not to worry, I will cut off those tiny ribbons and baby had to wear whateva mama says as Baby has to know early enough that mama is in charge

January mama's how far na? I think I will finally drag my ass out of bed this weekend and pack.
