I'm currently experiencing the same. Mine started 7 months after I had my son and 4 months later I took in for this baby and currently 20 weeks plus. My dear, it isn't funny at all. And many women are experiencing it. It's called Symphysis pelvic dysfunction. You can read up on it.

Had a bad case of this with my DD’s pregnancy, crowned with severe edema cos I had HBP. Started at 6 months till delivery. I’m super grateful to God that this one has been seamless cos I was trying to imagine how I’d cope with the pain and a toddler since they said it gets worse with subsequent pregnancies.

It was so bad I couldn’t walk some days, I only managed (with lots of groaning, grunting and crying) to get up to pee and have a bath. Usually I shower twice daily but the pain made me resort to only late evening or night time baths. I lived on the living room couch for 5 months, for easy access to the guest toilet, kitchen and fridge!!

This happened to a friend in her first pregnancy. Hers wasn’t just blood spots, it covered her entire eyes and cleared after delivery. It is mostly hormones and yours may not get that bad

It is but you would have to go with your fit to fly from either your doc or from the airport. I didn’t go with mine (got tired of disturbing my doctor cos he already signed the ones I traveled out with) so I had to sign an undertaking instead

My daughter’s school is open from 8am - 5pm. I try to pick her up between 3 and 4pm. They also have after school care for an extra fee.

Really it depends on the school so maybe discuss with them and work out an arrangement

Anyways, I observed today at work that my navel kind of feel slightly painful when I touch it. Note, I don't have a protruding navel; its inverted self. If that word is correct, I duuno. It’s normal for people with “innies”. The pain is from your skin stretching. I have an innie myself and my belly button has popped out, when it was flat it was a bit painful but it’s gone now

Please I've been having stomach tightening for some weeks now,with no pain (braxon hicks) ..but these past few days it has been a bit painful..it comes with this cramps feeling at my lower back that radiates to my butt and legs. Been happening to me as well. As long as you can breathe through it and not grit your teeth, you’re good to go. It (Bhicks) gets more intense as we get closer. However, you can talk to your doc so you put your mind at ease

Not scientifically proven but I took ginger tea and it helped with breast milk production (had a huge freezer stash), I was back to prepregnancy weight within 3-4 months and tummy was on a flat flat (I was rocking bodysuits)

Please I need you peoples help. I'm quite confused on milk storage. I know google says milk stored in fridge is good up until 4 days but how do I store with Nigeria's unstable light. Will the 4 days viability still work with constant change in fridge temperature. Please help

I’m afraid not. The 4 days (preferably 3) is under the circumstance that the temperature stays constant

Story of my life till I dumped the toothbrush (very fancy toddler brush o) and started cleaning with gauze or cotton pad and warm water I added a teeny bit of salt to, sometimes I put a teeny bit of her paste on the gauze/cotton.

When we first started using a toothbrush, she loved it, then suddenly, she wouldn’t open her mouth after the toothbrush goes into her mouth. She’ll close her mouth around it and start sucking out the paste we only managed to brush the teeth without successfully getting the tongue clean and buildup started making it kinda smell (it wasn’t bad but I didn’t just like it)

Since we went back to cleaning, it’s been fun. Infact once I wrap the gauze/cotton pad around my finger, she opens her mouth

You could try a washcloth (new one and dedicate to only mouth cleaning). I never did this cos with the gauze, I use and dump and do not have to wash and reuse cos I fear contamination

You could also get those silicon fun brushes, like the finger one (we used this for a while) or the banana one, they do a decent job at getting the tongue clean. Giving it to her to play with (chew on) when it’s not time to brush also gets her accustomed to it

Sorry I’m just seeing this. Would have loved to help but I don’t know commuter bus/taxi routes in Abuja...
But I think if you go from Area 1 to Berger, they should have taxis going directly to Karmo from there if you don’t see from Area 1. The market is after Kado fish Market and it’s along the road (straight from Berger-Jabi-Lifecamp-Kado-Karmo)

There’s a parking lot but it is a bit far from the market itself. You’ll have to either walk or take a bike (50 or 100) to the market if you hate walking like me. The thing with parking close to the market is that coming out will be wahala if you eventually get a space

I went to my usual Dutse market. But you know the road construction affected it. They sent almost all of them away now. So you just go to the usual end of the market to shop but I tell you it's not like before again. People are talking about karimu market but I've not being there. Tuesday is their market days.

My doc asked that i take my pregnacare original with calcium. It doesn’t have the recommended dosage and baby uses up to 250mg of calcium from mama daily in the third trimester. Started late in my DD’s pregnancy and the cramps I had was super bad. This time around, I’ve had little to none cos I started taking it same day i started taking pregnacare

My own is that I am not happy I don't know any comfortable position we can take to do the do because of my big tummy

Spooning, cowgirl or reverse cowgirl (but you may need help from oga cos personally, I can’t carry myself again ), “douggie” (not on all fours. Hands against the wall, couch backrest, bed (if high) or headboard), side by side (facing each other), standing (dependent on height difference), side lying “douggie” (for lack of a better word ), good old missionary but with a twist - you alone on your side while Oga is keeping his weight off of you by propping himself with his arms (you can try this facing down as well but turned to your side and oga is propped up behind you)

Approach all with caution especially if you’re in your 3rd trimester. No deep penetration.
