Head to head is considered before goals difference.
even If that is the case, we still qualify, we just have to avoid defeat in Uyo, and I believe we will beat them silly.
All I KNOW IS THAT NFF SHOULD JUST START PREPARING FRIENDLIES FOR THE TEAM BEACUSE WE ARE ALREADY IN RUSSIA.

I guess so applies to is if Algeria can beat Zambia tonight...even if we loose our last two matches..we are steps ahead via goal difference cool
Exactly, Zambia have a goal difference of 1, so a loss for them today by a goal margin of 1 will leave them with a goal difference of 0 , so for them to qualify they will have to score not less than 8 goals in their remaining two matches not forgetting that one of those two matches is against the Super Eagles.

the partnership of Ekong and Balogun seem very solid and very difficult to penetrate, I'm just thinking what happens when we have an inform Vincent Eyeama in goal and a competent left back to replace Echiegile?

Tunisia could become the first African team to qualify for Russia 2018 if they earn a draw with DR Congo tonight.
Even with Ghana's 5-1 win over Congo, they are still 3rd in their group with 5 points behind Uganda and Egypt.
No, a draw with DR Congo will not guarantee them qualification, Tunisia currently have 9 points while DR Congo have 6 points and they both have the same goal difference of 4, and they have an away match with DR Congo today, so a draw will leave both of them with 10 points and 7 points respectively with 2 matches left.
so for Tunisia to qualify today, they have to beat DR Congo away today and at least draw one of their remaining 2matches or even if they lose the remaining 2 matches, have a better goal difference than DR Congo.

why don't you see the possibility of deploying etebo to the wings....
Etebo is best suited in the Cmf position, there is no space for him even in the Amf role, he is not as fast as musa or v Moses. We need our wingers to be very fast for this match because counter attack is one area we can use to outdo the Cameroonians and currently they are two fastest players in this team.

I'm totally in love with this list but I will still point out that I am really bothered about our goalkeeping aspect.
for me it is a 4-2-3-1 formation

ighalo (CF)

V.Moses (Lwf) Iheanacho(Amf/SS) Musa(Rwf)

Mikel(Cmf) Onazi(Dmf)

Echiegile (Lb) Leon(Cb) Ekon(Cb) Shehu (Rb)

Akpeyi(Gk)

Subs: 1.Etebo for Iheanacho
( Mikel moves to the Amf)
2.Ndidi for onazi
3. Nwaekeme for Ighalo

But also considering the physicality of the Cameroonian Etebo might Start in place of Iheanacho and Mikel will then play The Amf position.
with this formation, if the team is clinical in front of Goal and also defend as a unit which is the key ingredient of this formation. I see no reason why that match will not end 3-0 in favour of the super eagles. Because looking at this my set up all I see is goal.. goal... goal....

SUPER EAGLES COACH OWED THREE MONTHS SALARY
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is being owed for three months according to a new report. Super Eagles Chief Coach Gernot Rohr is being owed three months salary by the Nigeria Football Federation. The NFF have not paid the Franco-German coach for the past three months, according to a report by SCORENigeria. “Rohr has not been paid for three months now. The NFF say they are broke,” SCORENigeria quoted a top official of the NFF. Rohr earns $47,000 a month, totaling $141,000 for the three months he has reportedly not been paid. The 63-year old signed to manage the Super Eagles in August 2016, signing an initial two-year deal to qualify Nigeria for next year’s World Cup, but his salaries have been shrouded in secrecy with speculations over who is bankrolling them and how much he is paid. And according to the report, the NFF’s indebtedness to the Franco-German coach comes at a time when the federation have received in excess of $700,000 from various sources. It is claimed that the NFF have received $500,000 from CAF for AFCON TV rights, $200,000 from FIFA, 145 million Naira from sponsors Guinness and 70 million Naira from govt allocation for February. This will not be the first time the Glass House are owing a Super Eagles coach as former coaches, Stephen Keshi, Sunday Oliseh and Samson Siasia were owed at some point......... http://www.footballmole.com/2017/03/report-nff- owing-new-super-eagles-coach.html FOOTBALLMOLE.COM

I think this has always been the concern of some posters here with Iwobi, he simply can't keep up with the physicality of African football

Having noted that, I would suggest against Cameroon, a team that will very much be similar to Senegal, that we have a midfield of Etebo, Mikel and Ogu if possible

Is this the right time to also discuss Onazi?
To me ndidi seem to have moved slightly above onazi in terms of his all round game. A combination of Ndidi ,Ogu and Mikel with ndidi playing a deep lying DM . will not only be solid but will also have a good impact on our possession game

he was played out of position. no shame in that, we need to keep him in that LMF role or he goes to the bench,
what do you make of the combination of v. Moses and isacc success on the flanks because of their bullish and fast style of play. compared to iwobi playing in similar position.

Nobody is talking about how iwobi totally got lost in the game. Currently there is no one like Mikel in that team.

who else has noticed this, when I try to GH, and it gets to the section where you are to specify the amount you wish to withdraw and I click "All " it does not reflect all the total sum I wish to withdraw, instead it remains at 0.00 no matter how many times I click on "All "
